Of course please contact me [email protected] with any questions! I shared all of these amazing boxes with my team last week in our Virtual Meeting. We have tons of fun like that! These adorable reindeers are what started this whole thing. I had this idea one morning and while the kids were away I put it into action and created 9 adorable reindeers. They're all created the same so it was just a matter of mass assembly. Their heads are created with a new ornament punch in the Holiday Catalog. I simply trimmed off the top of the ornament. Their noses are 1/2" Circle Punch and their antlers are branches that come with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies. That's it!!! I added some bells to them, of course! I used googlie eyes for them cause it's so cute! I ended up adding tails to them by trimming the middle out of the Everyday Label Punch. The reindeers are all cut out of Soft Suede and their antlers from Crumb Cake. I gave all but one an Early Espresso Nose. Rudolph of course has a Real Red nose. After the reindeer were made I *HAD* to have a sleigh. So trial and error I ended up creating one I like. I created this free PDF tutorial on the sleigh. I love this project so much. I think it would be so cute on a holiday table, buffet or anywhere. You could fill the sleigh with candy or other treats then at the end of the night everyone could take a reindeer home. So cute!!!!! Today I have another sneak peek for you. This Mini Curvy Keepsake Box is my first Christmas share from the upcoming Holiday mini. It is just sooooo stinkin' cute!!! I love the size and also the Holly and Berry stamp is beautiful. It is from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. A beautiful new set, I will have more to share with that later, it amazing! I stamped the Holly image with Stack Stazon and colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads. I fussy cut it out and put aside to make my box. I die cut the box using a piece of DSP from the Let it Snow pack. I also die cut two ovals from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Dies set, one for my sentiment and one for the Holly leaves. The "Joy" came from the "Hearts Come Home" stamp set from last year, that is no longer available. I layered the two die cut ovals together and ran two pieces of white twine through the holes to attach them to the box. I ran the twine through the handles of the box and tied a pretty bow. I then used dimensionals to add the Holly image to the oval. I used my Wink of Stella pen all over the Holly and Berry image. It adds a really pretty shimmer. I really love this curvy shaped box for table favours at dinner parties, and I am trying out various designs for the Christmas dinner table. Here is my first attempt. Front view General view Sahara Sand cardstock was used to make the box and tag, using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Die. The stamp set used was White Christmas and the ink used was soft Suede. I think that I will be making quite a few of these!!
GOOD TUESDAY MORNING to you all today! I hope your week is starting of BEAUTIFULLY! I have a few more creations to share with you using the Curvy Keepsake Box Die....I am COMPLETELY ADDICTED to this die! It is SO MUCH FUN and has SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! First I have my candy corn! Very simple to make! Just cut out two Curvy Keepsake Box pieces in Very Vanilla, two in an orange color (I used Tangelo Twist) and two in a yellow (I used Hello Honey). It's best to use designer paper for your layers...I know this because I tried to use cardstock...but it was WAY TO THICK...and wouldn't fold right...and looked TERRIBLE! The sentiment is from the stamp set That's the ticket! My nine year old daughter, Kathryn, is IN LOVE with horses! She has that blood....her dad grew up with horses and was a team roper for awhile....but that third child coming along was the end to us having horses. She desperately wants her own horse...so I made this for her! I used the Extra Large Oval punch and the Owl Builder punch for the head, the ears are made with the Sweetheart punch (just cut it in half). The eyes are from the Owl Builder punch (you can also use the 1/2" and 1/4" circle punches)...Candy Dots for inside of circles from the 1/4" punch for the nostrils. The stamped image is from the new YEE-HAW stamp set....it is so dog gone cute! The face of my cow is made with the Extra Large Oval punch, the spots all around the cow, the horns and the eyes are all made with the Owl Builder punch, the nose is made with the Large Oval punch...which I punched out in Pink Pirouette and then punched again to make it smaller. The small oval punch is just too small. The ears are made with the Pansy punch...I punched out one petal and cut it in half. The cow bell is made with the square charm that is part of the Curvy Keepsake Box Die that I made the body out of. I trimmed it to look like a cow bell. On both the cow and the horse...I cut an extra Extra Large Oval out so that I could back the faces with...that way they look good from the back too! I also have the WEEKLY DEALS for you! Hello, crafty friends. Today's project features a new bundle called A Little Lace. I couldn't wait to try out the Stitched Laces Dies! Of course, I also had to use it with a new In Color, and since purple is one of my top favorite colors, I used Purple Posy cardstock. My first run with the Stitched Lace Dies created a lace piece large enough to use as a layer on the front of card. To cut it down to the size of your liking, and to also add a scalloped edge, you use the additional die in the set. I was happy to see that it was pretty easy to line it up before die cutting. To continue with my "must try all my new stuff", I stamped the floral image using Pretty Peacock Classic ink, and then colored it with my Stampin' Blends which included the new Rococo Rose and Purple Posy colors. I also found that the new Medium Daisy Punch worked great with the large flower image. Cool, huh? These are quick, easy, and addictive to make! The Daffodil Delight and the Balmy Blue are made with the retired Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper, and the middle two are made with the newest In Color Designer Series Paper. Only two nuggets fit in this size. You can vary the square size to suit your wishes, but I wanted the leftover strips to wrap my nuggets with and the size was okay for me!
