Hello! Today’s card features lots of Saleabration products – The Amazing You stamp set, coordinating Celebrate You thinlet dies and the Bubbles and Fizz designer series paper. I love the Petal Palette bundle. I especially love that these flowers have a matching die! I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with my Stampin' Blends in Pool Party and Old Olive. I layered them on a Whisper White oval I had already laying on my desk. I stamped the sentiment from the same set in black. I used the new Petal Passion DSP for the background. I love the black and white but it can be colored, too! I placed some Pool Party card stock behind for the next layer and then the Basic Black base. This card was done in just a few minutes! I will be playing lots with this bundle! I hope you have a blessed day! Thanks for stopping by! We got together as many Display Stampers from across the world as we could so we could share all of these great samples with all of you. Who wouldn't want to see these great sneak peeks into the 2018 Occasions Mini and SAB?! In case you missed anything here are links to the previous days: Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 If you are following along in order, you have just arrived from Jenny Halls' blog. I saved my favorites for last. I love to watercolor! Layers of watercolor drips with Powder Pink then Berry Burst create this dramatic card. There are Clear and Copper heat embossed hearts from Heart Happiness, and the amazing Myths and Magic Glimmer paper layers too! The rainbow watercolor wash was achieved using just 3 ink colors: Rose Red, Crushed Curry, and Tempting Turquoise. Were they overlapped, they blended to create orange and green. The images were then stamped over the watercolor wash. And now, off to see what Lou Kitzelman has to share with us! Happy Wednesday, everyone….are you celebrating New Year’s Eve in a big way or a quiet way? We are having dinner at home with friends, then we’ll watch a movie….and hopefully I can get some knitting done too! Meanwhile, those crafty, colourful girls at Colour Me…! are having their one-year anniversary today! How fun! Congratulations to them on a fabulous year, and I look forward to seeing their awesome challenges in the coming year! For this week, they want us to choose a past palette with which to create a card! I chose #16: because they are perfect colors to showcase an upcoming Sale-a-bration set, Lotus Blossom! This is a photopolymer set, so it is quite easy to line up the layers to create a very detailed image: I used papers from the All Abloom DSP stack as well as the Backgrounds DSP in Pistachio Pudding. The sentiment is included!! What a beautiful set! Here’s a closer image: I also used Gorgeous Grunge to add a little organic feel! I hope you will play along with the anniversary challenge over at Colour Me…! I know they would love to have you! Edited to add: I totally forgot to mention that I used the Technostamper sketch from this week as well!!! Here it is: I found some pictures on my other camera, taken while my SIL was babysitting her granddaughters. Cassidy seems very “grown-up” next to Maggie and Lucy….and she likes to organize their play too! Unfortunately, Maggie doesn’t take direction too well, LOL! She seems to be giving some thought to Cassidy’s suggestion!! Enjoy your day and have a safe holiday! See you in 2015!

It's School Holidays, and thought it time to play with some of my amazing Stampin' Up! Products. I have some creations to show you from the 'Coffee Break Suite'. First up are my cards. I love the 'Coffee Break Designer Series Paper' and wanted to show off the beautiful papers. The 'Coffee Cafe Bundle' is just amazing as well. So much coordination. 'But first Coffee' - who can relate? An envelope created using the 'Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies', and a notecard to slip inside. 'Happiness is a cup of coffee shared with a friend'. Indeed. I am really happy combining the colours; 'Garden Green' & 'Soft Sky'. They look beautiful together. 'Friend'. This is my take on the 'Central Perk' logo from FRIENDS sitcom. I loved that TV show! 'Thanks a Latte'. How about some gift tags in a crate? Coffee cups made into cute gift tags. Wrapped up with some 'Linen Thread'. I decorated mini Coffee Cups - the cuteness! And they are filled with Dark Chocolate Coffee Beans. Yum! *I found these mini cups at 'The Reject Shop' (Australia). Oh, my! Mini coffee cup tags! Real cute. And now for a Scrap page. Be warned, there is more cuteness ahead! 'Happiness is a Babycino' Lots of white space for journalling. Our little guy, a little while back, seriously enjoying his Babycino! Cuteness overload. DIY embellishment. Thankyou so much for viewing my creations. The 'Coffee Break Suite' is just gorgeous, and it's a great Suite to create for both the males and females in your life. Especially those coffee lovers. Have an awesome day. D x BONUS DAYS Has your wish list grown since the new catalogue came out? Welcome to my Stampin' Up! Blog! My name is Bruno Bertucci and I'm married to Kylie.
Today I have something a little bit different for you. Some techniques to create some cool grungy backgrounds or stamped effects, with two of the techniques starring humble bubble wrap! I wanted to create some cool dimension and texture on this grungy card. Lots of layers, some distressed edges, popping some layers up, using different textures to stamp on and with all give a great feel of dimension and texture. For the circle above, I used Stampin' Up! snail adhesive to adhere a piece of bubble wrap (smoother side adhered, bumpy side facing outwards) to my clear block like this....
Calypso Coral #2 #ColorCoachJourney Hi Welcome to this week's Artful Stampers Blog Hop. My card today uses the Color Coach colours of Calypso Coral, Chocolate Chip and Wild Wasabi. When I re-examine this card, there are a couple of things missing that I would add: 1. A sentiment....I just couldn't make it work so I left it off. 2. Some sort of texturing or stamping on the middle Chocolate Chip band. I like the Wild Wasabi twine, but I think it needs something extra. So....as I was writing this blog post, I LITERALLY got up and pulled the card apart and put it back together again with the aforementioned suggestions. Here is Card B: Which one do you like best? The minimalist part of me now likes the first one! **sigh** Here is the sketch for this week's challenge: Card recipe Stamp - Nuts About You, Little Buddy Birthday (Card B) Ink - Calypso Coral, Wild Wasabi Stampin Write Marker, Chocolate Chip Stampin Write Marker Cardstock - Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Calypso Coral, Stacked with Love DSP (Occasions catalogue) Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Multipurpose Glue, Circle Card Thinlits Die, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Punch Pack (flower), Word Window Punch (Card B), Neutrals Candy Dots, Glue Dots, Paper Snips, Painted Blossoms Cotton Twine To follow the blog hop, just click the arrows below. If you are looking for a versatile and pretty suite of products then the new Petal Passion suite might be just the thing. I got this set as part of my demonstrator pre-order and it is truly beautiful. Today I've used several elements from the suite. The roses are stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink, and then coloured with our Stampin' Blends (I've used Calypso Coral light and dark, and Old Olive Light and dark). I then used the matching framelit to cut them out (awesome not to have to cut these out by hand!) The sentiment is from the same stamp set, and I've used the Stitched Shapes framelits to cut out the square. The background uses a new embossing folder called "Petal Pair"... its actually one of two in the set (as the name suggests). I've also added some of the co-ordinating Petal Passion DSP to this card... this is a pack of Black and White papers with simply stunning images. (This paper is included in the Paper share I am currently running... one spot left in the current share. If you are interested click HERE to see them all and then contact me) You might notice there is some Calypso Coral shimmer ribbon on this card too... this is one of our FREE Sale-a-bration items you can get with your order at the moment! This card came together quite quickly and I was happy with the result. Now Im starting to think about doing an Online class with it.... stay tuned for that! I've included a product list for you below should you wish to purchase any of these items for yourself. And dont forget that right now every $90 you spend gets you a FREE item out of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue! Visit the ONLINE STORE to see all the SAB items available! Happy Stamping! #stampinup I was so excited to see the "Wild About Flowers" set in the new Stampin' Up catalog. Not only is it a great two-step floral set, but the sentiments are all about retirements and new adventures--a great addition to the Stampin' Up collection of stamps. When I saw this week's color challenge at the Can You CAS(e) It Challenge, I thought this set would work well. Black on pink would be a great silhouette. I started with a Sahara Sand card base and added a Basic Black mat. I stamped the sentiment and the two-step flowers from the "Wild About Flowers" in Memento Tuxedo Black directly onto a Blushing Bride mat. I stamped "retirement" onto a 3/4" strip of Sahara Sand and flagged the end with the Banner Punch. I made another 3/4" banner to act as a shadow. When I put everything together, the card just seemed "meh." It needed something. I got out the Updated Essentials templates and my Paper-Piercing Tool and pierced a design in two corners. Yep! That was just what the card needed to complete it. tams# 3515 Product List Wild About Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set [138728] $21.00 Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad [132708] $6.00 Sahara Sand 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [121043] $7.00 Basic Black 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [121045] $7.00 Blushing Bride 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [131198] $7.00 Banner Punch [133519] $13.00 Updated Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack [138371] $8.00 Paper-Piercing Tool [126189] $4.00 Stampin' Pierce Mat [126199] $5.00

#1 Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Love What You Do & Lovely Floral Embossing Folder I think it's safe to say that we've all been blown away by
Hello everyone! I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful Holiday Season! I am SOOOOOO excited to be back! After an extended break, it is so great to be back in action! And to start
I know that I have been challenging my self a bit more creatively lately but todays challenge took the cake! Not only working with a sketch from Mojo Monday, a Colour challenge from Fab Friday but I also wanted to use a stamp set I haven't used before. Yes I know crazy right? But sometimes being a bit crazy leads to good things. Here are the challenges - And here is the card that I came up with - This card was WAY out of my comfort zone. I'm really happy with it! The elements that I enjoyed was using the splatters or as I have heard from a reputable source - Fly Poo. I did this in Lost Lagoon and stamped off to not overwhelm. I added the leaves in Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is from the Happy Happenings Set. I love the Paper Stacks! Having paper in every colour is so useful when making a card like this for colour challenges. You know right away that the colours are going to match perfectly. The Mojo Monday Sketch by Julee Tilman was great inspiration for me and I made a few twists and interpretations of my own. Here are the colours I used thanks to the Fab Friday colour challenge and I NEVER would have tried them, so thanks for pushing me Fab Friday. Thanks so much for coming by and make sure you head over to Mojo Monday and Fab Friday Challenge blogs to see what the design teams made and also to be inspired by everyone who plays along. You might even decide to play along yourself! UPDATE 8th August 2015: I was awarded for this card as a Fab Friday Fav! Very exciting! Thanks for pinning and for your support.
