My snake pattern has been popular at quilt shops all over the country for many years. All of my sewing patterns involve topstitching of cotton fabric to muslin backings. When run through a hot wash and dry cycle before stuffing, lots of wrinkling and rumpling will occur . . . hence the name "Rumpled Quilt Skins".
