I cased myself for project No. 8 for the JDRF fundraiser. I have used the Grown with Love stamp set and the matching Garden Grown Framelits. This stamp set is one where you colour the image with Stampin' Write Markers before stamping. This gives you the pretty finished flower image. I have used a colour scheme of Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Old Olive, Alway Artichoke, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Whisper White. Once the floral image has been stamped, stamp the images again to cut out the raised flowers using the matching Garden Grown Framelits (the small flower is hand cut). Stamp the flower pot in Crumb Cake and cut out using the matching die. All the pieces cut out using the dies are layered onto the card using dimensionals. The patterned paper is from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. The measurements to make the card are: Fresh Fig Card base - A4 cut in half then folded in half Crumb Cake mat - 13.8cm x 9.5cm DSP - 13.5cm x 9.2cm Crumb Cake - 13.8cm x 3cm Fresh Fig - 13.8cm x 2.8cm Fresh Fig - 10.8cm x 7cm Crumb Cake - 10.3cm x 6.5cm Whisper White - 10cm x 6.2cm If you live in Australia you can get all the supplies you need for this project from me. Hi Stamping Friends!! Every time I create the kits for my online card classes, I always end up having one favorite card. This is my favorite card in this set... I love all the bright, tropical colors of the flowers. Kit Includes: 1 - Crumb Cake card base 1 - Crumb Cake card front embossed with the Woodgrain EF 1 - Burlap Ribbon (retired) Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Hello Honey, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow cardstock for cutting 2 - Black brads The only difficult thing about this card is cutting out all of your flower pieces. The flowers go together quickly if you use Glue Dots. For the leaves I used the same color ink as the cardstock. If you do not have Mossy Meadow ink, you can just use Old Olive on all of the leaves. Looks like I forgot to add a Whisper White banner. It's probably best. That way you can create whatever size you need. The "It's Your Day" sentiment comes from the Sunburst Sayings set, but you can use any sentiment you desire. Or leave it with no sentiment and let the flowers be the center of attention. I have two more Botanical Blooms cards to share. I have created two cards for this sketch, yes, TWO! This week has been kinda crazy, with Christmas shopping and Christmas party planning, however, the birthdays keep coming and people keep doing things that deserve recognition, so I needed a birthday card and a congratulations card ... on top of making lots of Christmas cards for family and friends. This card is for my beautiful boy Matthew who turns 13 this week. I'll soon have two teenage boys in the house - heaven help me! The food bill keeps increasing, as must my patience. No, really, Mattie is such a happy kid most of the time, he's a really sweetie and is so creative. The only thing is his creating tend to be sooooooo messy!!!! Mattie, you're such a blessing in our lives and I hope this bright and fun card will make you smile even brighter. Happy Birthday Matthew xx This birthday card uses the Balloon bouquet punch, the Balloon framelits and the Celebrate Today stamp set. I have also used the Festive Birthday DSP and Brights Enamel Shapes to jazz it up. My second card uses the stunning Moroccan DSP paired with a sentiment from the Guy Greeting stamp set. I love the way the way the papers from this Moroccan DSP are suited for use in masculine cards, or for those who love something a little exotic. Look at these cute T Shirts!! They have been made using the Custom Tee Bundle, which is available in the Stamin' Up! 2017 Occasions Catalogue. The really awesome bonus about this Bundle, is it has a coordinating stamp set available as a free item from the Sale-a-bration promotion. For every $90 AUD spent during the promo, you choose a free item from the promo catalogue, BUT only till the end of March. Visit my store for details. I haven't had a real decent play with this bundle yet but did manage to whip a few cards up as I wanted to see how the little tees looked using stamps from other sets. I used the Hedgehog and Ladybugs from the Love You Lots Hostess Stamp Set and the Cat and Parrot are from the Pretty Kitty and Bella & Friends stamp sets. I stamped Black Archival ink onto Shimmery white card stock and used aqua painters to colour the animals, then let it dry before colouring the tee shirt backgrounds. Adhered with dimensionals the little tees pop right off the card. I used to work in the retail clothing industry and making these little cuties reminded me of how many tees the staff and I would fold everyday. As you can see the options are limitless! And not one of these tees use the stamps from the bundle. I have yet to try those ones out. This card uses some DSP from the Sale-a-bration promotion, its called Carried Away and coordinates perfectly with the Up & Away bundle. But thought I would use a smidgen for this card as it required some Peakaboo Peach to match the colour of the ink used to water colour the T Shirt. The little cupcake is from Bella & Friends. The black and white DSP is from the Playful Palette Paper Stack, and I added some black and white Bakers Twine to match. Using some more of the Carried Away DSP, I layered a quarter of the card front with Mint Macaron and adhered some pink Bakers Twine. The T Shirts have been stamped with the Hedgehog from Love you Lots stamp set and the Cat from Pretty Kitty. I used the Owl Punch to make the little hearts and the cloud die from Up & Away. This card was made in a couple of minutes as I was using up scraps and die cuts I had sitting around. The flowers are from the Botanicals Builder Framelits, I also used the Layering Circles Framelits and DSP from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Paper Stack. The T Shirt was stamped in Black Archival using the Ladybugs from the Love You Lots Hostess stamp set and coloured in using an aqua painter and Daffodil Delight and Real Red inks. Happy Crafting x

Hello everyone. Its time for another challenge at Daring Cardmakers. Joanne is our lovely host this week. Joanne would like you to be inspired by the phrase Mad March Hare. You might feature a hare or a rabbit, maybe even Lewis Carrol’s perpetually late character? Perhaps the image of boxing hares will take you down that route - the gloves are off! If you’re the punning type, you might focus on HAIR - crazy coloured hair, long flowing locks... This was a tough challenge for me as when I looked through my craft stash I realised I have nothing with bunnies on. Then I remembered a while ago I made some burrowing bunny cupcakes so I took inspiration from those. I decided to make a bunny butt card. I wanted it to look like the rabbit was about to go down the rabbit hole. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies from Stampin' Up! for the body and feet. I then found these little honey comb embellishments in my craft stash and thought his would make a great tail. I then created an aperture in the card base and used the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder which is also from Stampin' Up! to kind of resemble a tree. I think my children will like this card because its a bunny's butt and probably because I have used the word 'butt'. Just a quick post tonight! I spent the last week and a half in sunny California with my family...and we had a blast. I meant to post while I was gone, but we just got too busy and were having so much fun...I just didn't get around to it. Here are a few pics... I'm playing catch up this week on some things, so I will be sharing lots! First up... I love giving Stampin' Up! gifts...cause I know how much fun they are to receive...but I especially love when they are packaged up all cute! Here is a quick and easy packaging idea for a fun SNAIL adhesive... I love seeing packages all in a fun group or container... This is just a Glassine bag (the polka dot ones that were recently on the Clearance Rack) that I cut down the side seams just a bit, folded over, and stapled so that the SNAIL fit perfect without flopping around in the bag.
