Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday... This weeks Curvy Keepsake Box was kind of inspired by a trip to the Disney Store in London. We were in London to see The Lion King, which was truly amazing and of course a trip to the Disney Store is an absolute must.....lol. Here is my Bestie posing inside the pumpkin, loved how they did this, on one side you had the pumpkin and on the other side you had the beautiful carriage below. Anyway on to the Curvy Keepsake Box.... So here we have Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage, I started off with a Pumpkin Pie Curvy Keepsake Box. I used my pumpkin Pie Marker to draw curved lines on each panel, then I cut out a window on each side using the 1 1/4" circle punch. I used the Dazzling Details to go over the marker lines to add some sparkle. Then I cut out two 1 3/4" vellum Circles and using the White Gel Pen I drew some curtains on the vellum and then stuck them to the inside over the circle windows. For the decoration I cut out two of the smallest leaves from the Leaflets Framelits and layered them with some thin curled card, I tied them together with some Bakers Twine and stuck them to the box with some glue dots. I made a tiny hitch using the Word Window Punch and stuck it to the underneath of the box. I made some wheels using the 1" circle and the 1 1/4" circle layered them and added some detail. Then I attached them to some cocktail sticks with dimensionals and then to the bottom of the box. I added extra pieces of thin curled card to the bottom of the box to finish it off. Finally I made a tiny leaf tag using Teeny Tiny Sentiments and a leaf from the Leaflets Framelits, held on with a tiny peg. I hope you like, thanks for stopping by.... Happy Creating X
Pin It Check out the fabulous Curvy keepsake box. We had a lot of fun. Susan Adams made the turkey box. You can do so many things with these cute little boxes. Our favorite way to embellish them is by cutting the pieces in half on the top so you can open it with out having to take all the cute stuff off. The clips worked great for this. If we put all the ribbon and on the clip it was easy to put back on after you open it. See how we cut our pieces in half. To use 2 different sides, fold your paper like the picture shows. You will need two of them. Cut one of them in half and adhere to the bottom of the one that you didn't cut. S&P Recipe: Curvy Keepsake box Thinlit die (135853)

Original Pin HERE Make a card box and set of small gift cards using the wonderful video tutorial and measurements provided from this pin! The tutorial also shows how to make the raised medallion for the front. I decided to make up a larger version that would hold standard A2 cards (4.25" x 5.5") with envelopes. Here's my version: ...with matching cards: Here are my measurements: I had to LOL when I saw another video this week and the paper crafter said that she doesn't like "naked" envelopes! We are kindred spirits there as I do love to decorate my envelopes, too! Last week, I also found this terrific Envelope Punch Board paper tea cup idea with video tutorial that led me to making a bunch of tea cups: I'll fill these cups with gold Hershey Kisses. Here's the original pin from the VERY talented Linda Parker: Original Pin HERE It's quite a long video, but once you do one, it really goes fast! The measurements are as follows: 8" x 5 1/2" piece of card stock Along the long side, score at: 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 3 3/4", 5", 6 1/4" and 7 1/2" Along the short side, score at: 1 1/8" and 3 5/8" When using a directional printed paper, make sure the direction of the print is placed so that it goes right to left along the 8" side with the 1 1/8" score placed at the bottom of the print. Then I saw that Linda had created a tea pot to go with the tea cup, and of course, I had to make that, too! Here is her oh! so lovely version: Click HERE for the Original Pin The video tutorials are a must see....and here are the measurements for the tea pot which starts out as a larger version of the tea cup: BASE 10 3/4" x 7" Along the long side, score at: 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5 1/4", 7", 8 3/4" and 10 1/2" Along the short side, score at: 1 1/4" and 4 1/2" TOP 11 3/4" x 2 7/8' Along the long side, score at: 1 7/8", 3 3/4", 5 5/8", 7 1/2", 9 3/8" and 11 1/4" Along the short side, score at: 1/2" and 1" Notch from the side with the short tab at: 1 3/8", 3 1/4", 5 1/8, 7", 8 7/8" and 10 3/4" NOTE: Instead of punching holes and threading ribbon to hold the top together, I simply used red sticky tape along each fold and that created a simple pin wheel effect inside the lid. SPOUT 5 3/4" x 3" Score along the short side at 5/8" Notch along the long side with the 5/8" side folded over: 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2", 3 1/4", 3 3/4", 4 1/4", 4 3/4" and 5 1/4" Notch on the opposite side at 2 7/8" These projects are the original creations of Linda Parker. Please give her credit if you post any of her tea time projects ^_^

Happy Tuesday My Blogger Friends! My blog post for today is 'CASE IT TUESDAY'. That means today I have a fun little 3-D project that I found on the internet ....... And I created a CASE of that project to share with you today. This project was SUPER FUN to create and I want to jump right in and share that project with you now. This GORGEOUS box was created by my fellow InkBig team member Susan Wormley. She shared this box on our InkBig Facebook page and was kind enough to give me a private Zoom gathering to show me how to create this project. This box measures 8-1/4" tall and 4-1/2" wide. The thickness of the box is 2-1/2"......So you can tell that this is not a little box. I decorated my So Saffron box with the 'Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper' ...... And I used the 'Beauty Abound' set for my sentiment. The box holds a bottle of wine and has 5-sections for chocolates. I had to work QUICKLY to get the lid of the box to stand up for a photo.......Because as you can tell by the picture below.......Prada wanted to come in and help me out. After she knocked the lid over ....... She looked up at me as if to say......Did I do that!!! Here's the presentation of goodies inside this box...... The bottle of wine fits PERFECTLY inside the box...... And the sweet chocolates have their own little compartments. Couldn't be happier with the way this project turned out. It made a WONDERFUL gift for one of my neighbors. THANK YOU Susan for showing me how to create this little NUGGET of HAPPY!!! Thanks for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow to share a Wine Down Wednesday card with you ........ Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!

Triangle Boxes Great Simple Packaging These darling box designs were shared by my upline, Ronda Wade. She is amazing and full of fun ideas like this. Thanks Ronda for sharing. The boxes are simple and easy to make. And Quick! Use your own ideas for decorating the boxes. Fill them with candy, gift cards, money, homemade cookies or candy! The only limit is your imagination. Supplies are simple. You need cardstock, a cutting and scoring tool, a 1/8" hole punch (or similar) and ribbon. (oh and a pencil). Add the bits and pieces to decorate the box. That's all that's required. Here's a diagram of the box - click on the diagram to download a PDF version. See my video below for a tutorial on how to assemble this box. But BEWARE - there is a goof in my video. The size of the cardstock used in this box is 4 1/4" x 11" as shown above (not 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" as stated in the video). Once filled - these boxes can be opened easily without destroying the box. Enjoy making these boxes? Be sure subscribe to my blog so you can see more ideas. If you need supplies, you can purchase all of these materials at Stampin' Up! If you shop with me be sure to use my host code E3FGUJTK. If your purchase is $50 in product or more, I'll send you a fun gift.

Hello and Welcome to my Blog! Today I would like to share with you a set of cards and portfolio made with the Stampin'Up Sale-A-Bration Flowering Fields and Perfect Pairings Stamp Sets along with the coordinating Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper. These Sale-A-Bration promotion free items are so amazing ! My friend Gina Barker who is a very talented Paper Crafter and I got together in a challenge to create each of us a project made with these Free items and this is what I came out with. I wanted to create a set of cards for different occasions and the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set worked really great for this project. I also wanted these cards to be placed in a Portfolio style carrier or box by using only one sheet of 8-1/2 X 11 piece of card stock plus 2 extra small pieces; the procedure will be explained bellow. This is the Portfolio closed and ready to be stored or give away as a gift. The Portfolio finished size is 6 X 4-1/2 X 1. The following pictures show the process on how to build this Portfolio. You will need a piece of card stock 8-1/2" X 11" and 2 extra pieces cut at 1" X 2" fold in half on short side, these pieces will be attached to sides of the bottom sections as you see in picture above. Score it on long side at: 1/2, 5, 6, and 10-1/2. Score it on short side at: 2 and 2-1/2. Remove the small sections as you see on picture above and attach the 2 extra pieces to the sides as described above. Add adhesive to the large tabs as you see in this picture and glue them towards the center. This process ensures that the edges of your Portfolio will have a nice finish. Attach the 2 extra pieces to the bottom tabs as you see in this picture. This is how it looks so far. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper size 5-7/8 X 9-7/8 and score in center at 4-3/8, 5-3/8 and attach this piece first at spine then on the top side panels. This is a view from the apposite side so you can see how the extra pieces you added are being attached to the top panels to form the bottom boxes where the cards will be placed. This is how it looks already done from Inside :) The outside of your Portfolio you can decorate as you wish. The Following is Gina's project which is another Awesome idea! I love the way she used the Flowering Fields stamp set to create beautiful portraits of these flowers. She created a set of 4 notecards and a box to hold them. If you would like to order a set of cards already made from Gina Barker or if you have questions about her project you can contact her at: [email protected] for more information. I hope you liked these project ideas and get inspiration to make lots of these Portfolios or Card Boxes and have them ready for beautiful gift sets for family and friends.
