Take a simple card idea and step it up into a more avid project! I've used the Wisteria Wishes in three different versions of the same card. with Jacque Williams
Wisterias hold a special place in my heart. I 'inherited' a wisteria when we moved into this house 24 years ago. It's one of the only remaining original plants in my garden, I've planted almost everything else in the garden since then. But the wisteria is gorgeous, and FUN FACT, it blooms every year for our son's birthday in late March!! When I saw the Wisteria Wishes bundle in the new Stampin' UP! catalog, I knew right away it would be on my first order AND I knew exactly what I was going to do.... die cut the flowers
Hey there! It's time for Sunday Swap Day! yay! We are gathering today for Father's Day. Hope you have your lovely day with the Dads in your life! Today I have a set of swaps to share with you all...
These three cards were all made using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and matching dies. They are coming out in the new Stampin Up Annual Catalog on May 3rd. I really like this bundle because there are 3 different ways to use this set. You can make the traditional Wisterias, you can make the cone flowers (not sure what exactly they are) and you can make Christmas trees with them. There isnt many stamp sets in my opinion that you can do that with. Also there are the dies you can make Wisterias out of with any stamping! I just saw yesterday somewhere on Pinterest where they had made a stand up card using the tree limbs multiple times so it looked really authentic and then had the Wisteria hanging across it. It was a really cool card. Lots of work tho, tons of die cutting. Which I love how die cuts look but sometimes even for me I think its too much. Sure, if you were only going to make one card its ok but I usually dont like to make one card because you get all your supplies out and have stuff everywhere and if you do that for one card everytime its like all you are doing is getting things out and putting them away. Also if you are doing classes its just too much! But anyway, I am doing a class with this set to show the three ways to use one stamp set. I think its really a cool idea. Happy Stamping! Stamper Gyrl!

I bet you'll remember THIS Wisteria CARD I created with my Wisteria Wishes bundle.. while I had it out, I decided to try something different and flip the floral images upside down and create a different type of flowers like Red Salvia, Lupine and Blue Bonnets!! Here is my bright and cheery Stampin' Up! Color Combo! I mixed both Parakeet Party and Granny Apple Green for the stems, and used Orchid Oasis with Starry Sky for the blue flowers, and used Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade for the red flowers! The 'sending many thanks' label
