Hello lovelies, welcome to The Dimensionals Tutorial Blog Hop for March. We are a team of 4 demonstrators from Australia who love to create 3D cards and paper projects. This month we have created 4 new projects for June featuring our favourite products. You can guess, because of my love for birds, I had to get the Pretty Birds Bundle. The biggest attraction was the Birdcage Die. Then, after a play with the stamps, I have also really enjoyed using the bird images. These are Australian Budgies

#3 Theme - INKY BLUES Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspiration with Andrea and the third blog hop recognizing Bronwyn Eastly. We're a group of stamping friends that are celebrating Bron's 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes! In preparing for this Blog Hop I decided to do an alcohol wash on Vellum using various blue Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl alcohol. I knew this would create a gorgeous sea background so used the soon to retire Seas the Day bundle from the January-June Mini Catalogue. Here's my card: Starting with a piece of Vellum and a range of blue Stampin' Blends combos, including Starry Sky, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide, Pool Party & light Bermuda Bay. The colours were applied in patches and the Isopropyl Alcohol spritzed over. The fluid was swirled around and allowed to dry. A second light spritz of alcohol added lighter splotches reminiscent of bubbles. The largest die from the Seas dies cut a beautiful frame from Basic White card-stock. The jelly fish was stamped in Pool Party Classic ink, the octopus in Coastal Cabana ink and the star fish in So Saffron ink. Some Coastal Cabana, Starry Sky and Pool Party inks were lightly blended over the edges of the die cut frame. A die cut plant and a smaller leafy plant also had a little colour added with Blending Brushes. The coloured Vellum was adhered to some Basic White card-stock and the frame was overlaid using some Dimensionals to give the scene a little depth. The various sea creatures and plants were arranged and adhered in place. This front panel was adhered to a Starry Sky card base. The card was finished with a sentiment from the Seas the Day stamp set that was stamped in Starry Sky ink onto Basic White card-stock. The sentiment was cut out using a small stitched circle from the Beautiful Shapes dies. Some White Bakers Twine was swirled to the back of the label. A number of coloured Basic Rhinestone Jewels were sprinkled around. They had been coloured with the Stampin' Blends listed above. A Basic White card inner was decorated with an off cut of the coloured Vellum and an extra coloured die cut sea plant. Thank you so much for dropping in and helping to celebrate Bron's coming birthday. It is such a pity that Bron wasn't able to celebrate with an overseas holiday, but it is so much fun to celebrate with monthly blog hops - there are still more to come over the next 3 months. We will be here again on the 3rd of July, launching the hop at 7.00pm EST. Hop on over to the next blog, by the delightful Catherine Proctor and check out her gorgeous creation. Just click on Cathy's name (above) or the graphic below to be taken to her Blog, What Cathy Made. Apart from the Blog Hop there is also an Instagram Hop starting with Bron at @addinktivedesigns. Check it out too - there is more creativity to find. #bronsbdaybloghops #stampinup #stampinupsouthpacific #stampinupdemo #handmadecards #makeacardsendacard #seastheday #stampinupdemonstrator #papercrafting

Orchid Oasis with Ranunculus Romance Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspirations with Andrea and the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. We are starting afresh to work though all the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order, although as we begin a new round, we are featuring the new In Colours for 2022 to 2024. This week’s Blog Hop is focussing on a deep purple with rich blue undertones called Orchid Oasis. As mentioned, Orchid Oasis is part of the In Colour Family and is a beautifully rich blue purple. This colour is gorgeous on its own or with touches of gold. It is going to be fun over the next 2 years to explore colour combos that go well with this colour. Orchid Oasis is produced in Stampin' Up!'s card-stock, both A4 & 12"x12"; Classic Stampin' inks (ink pads, Spots & re-inkers); Stampin' Write Markers; Stampin' Blends, In Colours 2022-2024 Designer Series Papers, Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes and Designer Series Paper, In Colour Bakers Twine, Shimmer Ribbon, Glimmer Paper and Matte Decorative Dots. The card below has used Orchid Oasis Classic Stampin' ink, Card-stock, Stampin' Write Marker plus a range of other non-PP bits and pieces. Here is the card showcasing the delightful Orchid Oasis: Isn't Orchid Oasis a beautiful colour. CARD 1: This card shows the beauty of Orchid Oasis through some tone on tone stamping, ink blending and stamping on white, as well as some splatters. I loved playing with Orchid Oasis this week. It is a beautiful colour. My time to create was very short for this project given commitments over the past week so I decided to only use the featured colour and Basic White with touches of Gold. Orchid Oasis card-stock and ink was used with some partial background stamping with the scripty stamp from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set. Some Basic White card-stock was die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die. Some Orchid Oasis ink was blended over the LHS using a Blending Brush, then the panel was stamped with the Eiffel Tower and script stamps. Some splatters were added using an Orchid Oasis Stampin' Write Marker. The beautiful Ranunculus stamp was stamped a couple of times in Orchid Oasis Classic ink. Sadly, I couldn't find my Ranunculus dies, so I fussy cut the full flower spray and the two larger flower heads from the second stamped image. Having lost time trying to find my dies I had to alter my design quickly and use dies that were easily at hand. Some Gold Foil was die cut with one of the little floral sprays from the Honey Bee Bloom dies and the larger leaf die from the Meadows dies was used on some Basic White card-stock. A little Orchid Oasis ink was blended over the white leaf die cut. The fussy cut flowers and the leaf were partially Gold heat embossed on the edges using Versamark ink, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and a Heat Gun. The larger ticket die from the Sports Events dies cut a label from the Vellum Layering Designs. The leaf and flowers were arranged over the vellum label and the individual flower heads were layered over the flowers with Mini Dimensionals. A double bow was tied with the gold Simply Elegant Trim and attached with Glue Dots. A sentiment from the same stamp set was White Heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Orchid Oasis card-stock and then fussy cut. Some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels added a little shimmer, together with a splattering of Wink of Stella (which is so hard to capture in the photos). My time completely disappeared and so I didn't have a chance to work on the card inner or envelope. It will happen but later. I sincerely thank Emma Goddard, UK Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and past Artisan for her inspiration. I so love Emma and her amazing talent and noticed as this card came together her definite influence. Thank you so much for dropping by. I do value the time you spent with me. If you live in Australia, don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like your own copy of Stampin' Up's new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue and or the January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue then let me know and I will be delighted to send them to you. Please don't hesitate to make contact with any other queries about these projects or Stampin' Up!. There is more Orchard Oasis creativity. To continue with the blog hop, click on the "next" graphic below to be taken to the blog of a special woman and friend, the lovely and talented, Tina Gillespie. I always look forward to checking out Tina's creation (I wonder what she has in store this week - she is always amazing). I do love seeing everyones' projects - always so many ideas. Hope to see you next week when we will be featuring another new In Colour, Parakeet Party, for the weekly 2022-2024 Colour Creations blog hops. Stay well, stay safe and be kind to yourself and others. 2021-2023 In Colors Welcome back, Stamping Friends! I am so excited to show you the new 2021-2023 In Colors from Stampin’ Up! I was waiting to show you until I had them “in hand.”…
Welcome to June's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month we are Caseing the Catalogue, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! Please be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team. My card was created with the very manly He's the Man Designer Series Paper. I added the netting layer cut from a piece of the Designer Series Paper and layered up some of the dies cuts onto it. This is the gorgeous card from the inside cover the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue that I cased! I love the layout and used that as my inspiration. There are two sheets of die cuts in this Designer Series Paper pack. I think they're really cool and perfectly masculine, and make creating a male card so easy! Next up in today's hop is my lovely and inspirational friend Louise in Australia, I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation Louise has to share with us. It's new Catty time! Time to play with new products! This week as CASEing the Catty #CTC368 we are caseing your Favourite Annual Catalogue project, which I am featuring the Sending Smiles Bundle. Welcome to the blog hop or you may have come from Michelle Strazds. I am caseing the card on page 14 and have decided that it will be a card I can easily use all the new in colors - Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, Parakeet Party and Orchid Oasis. I choose to use a background die from Poppy Moments which I had not used before, I repeated cutting it out 3 times to create my card front background and then stamped and die cut all the flowers, stems and sentiments for the Sending Smiles Bundle. Finally I added a few of the Brushed Brass Butterflies which I thought looked like they were flying around the garden of flowers. Stamp Set: Sending Smiles Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Mango Melody Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White Accessories: Cut 'n Emboss Machine, Sending Dies, Poppy Moments Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies Close up of the background, with die cutting the Poppy Moments die 3 times. Thanks for joining me on this Mother's Day, now it's time to hop on over to Peta Stephens. Are you inspired by the CASEing the Catty Crew why not participate in the CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge by uploading a card or project to the facebook page.

The 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is just around the corner, and with it are new In Colors! Every year I put together a graphic comparing the colours to other Stampin' Up colours to help give an idea of what they will be like to use. For the most part I try to use more recent colours, but sometimes the most similar colour will be a very old one, or an old colour will provide a better balance to the comparisons. Without further ado, here are the 5 new In Colors for 2021-2023! Stampin' Up 2021-2023 In Colors These comparisons come with the caveat that colours will look a bit different across different devices, but they are better than nothing till the colours get into your hands. The new catalogue goes live May 4th, so less than a month to wait!

Here is the third new 2021-2023 in colour called Pale Papaya. Pale Papaya is a light orange shade that fits more with the oranges than I have shown in the comparison above. To showcase Pale Papaya I have again used the Colour & Contour stamp set and dies bundle. I used the scallop border dies to cut the edge of a piece of 2021-2023 In Colour DSP. This was mounted on a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped a greeting from the Etched in Nature stamp set in Pale Papaya. I stamped and die cut the daisy image three times and arranged them on the front of the card. Before I attached the flowers I wrapped a piece of the Open Weave Ribbon around the card front. I will be back tomorrow with the fourth new In Colour - Evening Evergreen. Thanks for visiting, Rachel
