The Flowers of Friendship Bundle is so sweet. I love when there is a punch that goes with the stamps which makes cutting out images so easy.
Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper over at Splitcoast is Kelli Acopan aka KAcopan....congrats, Kelli! It was tough to choose just one card from her awesome gallery, but I finally settled on this adorable card. For my card, I used a new-to-me set from Stampin Up, Language of Friendship, along with an SU embossing folder. Light sponging was added to the embossed layer and baker's twine was added at the top. Otherwise, the layout is the same as Kelli's card. Thanks for stopping by today! Blessings,

Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am bringing you a little instructional post and video to show how to use the Flowers and Leaves punch from the Annual Catalogue. This punch coordinates with the Flowers of Friendship stamp set. It punches out the two flowers and leaves on the right. But if you try and stamp any of these images individually, you will find that there is a lot of card stock wasted as the punch will cut out part of the other images at the same time. The way to avoid this is to mount all the stamps on a clear block together so that they can all be punched out at once. Not only is this a card stock saver but also a great time saver. I have recorded a short video to show you how to do it which you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. Here is the whole process, step by step in photos. First punch out all 4 shapes from a piece of card stock. This next step is really important - turn the punched card stock over and mark it so that you know which way round to use it. Then mount the large flower on a clear block. I used a Block D. Position the punched template over the stamp image and hold it in place. Whilst holding it, manoeuvre the smallest leaf into position, using the punched template as a guide. Repeat the process for the larger leaf. And finally the smaller flower. This is what you should see once the template is removed. It looks like the block isn't quite big enough in the photos but in real life it is fine! You can then stamp all 4 images at once. And punch them all out at once! Although, rather than punch them straight away, I would recommend colouring them first. I hope you find that helpful. Of course it will work for any of our punches which punch out more than one image. And I'll be back later this week with a new project featuring these punched flowers. Do come back to see that! With all the fun new products we have out for Sale-a-Bration and the Jan.-June mini catalog the products in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog can kind of be forgotten about. I've done a lot of tulip cards lately and I wanted to switch things up and use a different floral set to play along with the Just Us Girls friendship challenge. I'm sending this design out to a few stamping friends and maybe channeling some spring vibes with the colors at the same time! I've met so many nice people through stamping; whether they're customers, downline and even fellow demonstrators around the world. We all have this common hobby that we can get excited about together. It's such a nice feeling of community and understanding! Not everyone understands the excitement of a new ink color or the smell of new cardstock and stamps lol! I let the designs from the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (a free Sale-A-Bration reward!!) do all the hard work for this card. I just choose 3 patterns and then layered a piece behind three of the beautiful Floral Squares dies popping up the die cut for a nice raised look. I layered them all on a piece of Basic White embossed with the Gingham embossing folder backed with a Pale Papaya card base. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment which is stamped in Basic Gray and popped on dimensionals. I told you the DSP did all the work on this card! A few Pale Papaya gems highlight the lower sentiment strip. Which friends of yours need a little fun mail? If you don't have a card already in your stash plan to make one (or more!) and send out to friends near and far to say hello! Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: All Squared Away Ink: Basic Gray Paper: Pale Papaya, Basic White, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (SAB) Accessories: Gingham embossing folder, Floral Squares dies, dimensionals, Pale Papaya In Color gems
Hello Lovelies! I had a totally different vision for this card and I am SO glad that I ended up with something completely different! In today's tutorial uses Copic Markers to create a roughly blended background on the new Plaid die-cut from the STAMPtember® release available now. I don't think I've done a marker-blended background before, but I have done a lot of detailed ink-blending and I think it worked out pretty nicely on that darling Rustic Layering Flower die-cut so let's get to it!Time

So, this is it: you have finally made up your mind to get your first tattoo. But there are still some hesitations roaming in your mind. What if you don’t like it when it’s finished? What if it doesn’t suit you? What if it hurts way too much in the process? All these concerns are very understandable, but they also have a great solution. What you need to put your worries to rest is a minimalist tattoo.

It's Friday Free-for-All again this week at Flourishes, and this week the Sr. Design Team is focusing on the "From the Garden" stamp set! This is such a wonderful stamp set... beautiful sentiments, and wonderful images... very versatile, too! Be sure to click on the links below to see what everyone has done today with this stamp set! Today, I chose to pair the From the Garden set with the Seeds of Friendship stamp set for this creation. I used a sentiment from the "Garden" set on the Tailor Made Classic Tag, and used other sentiments from the seed set in my design as well. I embellished my bow and tag with a button from the Basic Grey Jovial collection. My seed packet and images were colored on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Copics from the following collections... I hope you'll stop and see what the other Flourishes Sr. Designers have created today using the "From the Garden" stamp set...
