Hello again! Yesterday I shared my card using the gorgeous Cancer zodiac girl in all her star sign awesomeness. As is becoming tradition around the ol' blog, today I have a very different version of the stamp that actually didn't require too much altering and what I did do is super simple. Initially I was thinking of wiping away the crab but I kept coming back to the problem of what I could replace it with since her hand looks like it needs to be holding something. It wasn't until I decided to embrace the crab that my A-Ha! moment hit... I would turn her into a summer time beach babe. First I wiped away the flowers from her hair before stamping then used a black multi-liner pen to draw in the missing hair. Next I cut the image off just above the knees, grabbed my multi-liner again and drew in a simple Y shape to transform her long, elegant gown into a stylish one piece swimsuit. Seriously, you don't have to have any amazing drawing skills to accomplish this transformation. Once I masked off my new Cancer girl, I used the retired Beach Background stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to set the scene and I couldn't be happier with the pairing. The sentiment is from a new Whimsy set called Salty Hair and considering I drew in those thighs, it really made me chuckle. ;) Thanks for stopping by! Supply list: cardstock- Papertrey Ink and Copic X-Press It stamps- Stamping Bella (Uptown Zodiac Girl Cancer), Kraftin' Kimmie (The Beach Background), Whimsy Stamps (Salty Hair set) ink- Memento tuxedo black, Versafine onyx black and Hero Arts unicorn white Lawn Fawn stitched border die Doodlebug washi tape Doodlebug Sprinkles Sharpie extra fine white marker Ranger glossy accents Copic markers: skin- E31, E34, E35, E93 hair- E44, E47, E49 swimsuit- Y0000, Y02, Y18, Y17, Y35, YR04, YR18 crab- YR30, YR12, YR09, R39 palm trees- E55, E59, YG00, G07, G29 stones- T1, T2, T4,T5 bushes- RV04, Rv09, YG13, G17, G99, G29 sand- E50, E51, E21, E33, E42 sky/sea- B01, B02, B04, B05, 0

These cards are the last sets made with new Stamping Bella stamps and I recently purchased. This first couple of cards was stamped using the Stamping Bella Girl with a Heart Trail Stamp onto Bristol cardstock and colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I messed up on this first one and the red heart bled. I just added some more water and smeared more red to make the ground she is walking on. It kinda works! I truly love patterned paper and had almost as much fun putting the cards together as I did in coloring. So sweet. This last couple of cards used the Stamping Bella Girl with Falling Hearts Stamp. Such a sweet image. I thought this was so darling and the background patterned paper delightful. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and these cards made with the stamps. So fun.

Hello again! Here's another card that I made for the recent Stamping Bella release using one of the brand new guinea pig characters that were just introduced. This cutie is called Guinea with a Key and I kept this one very clean and simple. As sweet as this chubby little guinea is he didn't need a whole bunch of bells and whistles to completely steal the show. I especially had fun coloring him into a fiery red head so full of love, LOL! Alrighty, it's a busy, busy week so I gotta get moving. Have a good one! Supply list: cardstock- My Favorite Things and Copic X-Press It stamps- Stamping Bella (Guinea with a Key) ink- Memento tuxedo black My Favorite Things A2 stitched rectangle stax set 2 Sakura stardust glitter pen Ranger glossy accents Copic markers: guinea pig- E50, E41, E42, E43, R30, R21, E04, R00, YR21, E95, E97, E99 key- Y02, YR23, YR24, E47 tag- W00, E40, E42, R32, R35, R39 shadow- E40, E31, E42, E43, E44
A very Happy New Year to y'all from the Stamp Review Crew! Can you believe it's 2018 already?! We're baaa-aack with a special bonus hop! The Stamp Review Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all across the globe who "gather" on the first and third Monday of each month to highlight a particular stamp set. Today's hop is a bonus! We are showcasing the adorable Bella & Friends stamp set, which was inspired by Million Dollar Achiever, Angie Juda! Yeah, when you hit that $1,000,000 in sales, you get all kinds of perks, and helping design a new stamp set is one of them. I calculated that at the rate I'm going, I should reach that milestone when I'm about 180 years old. *grin* But I digress.... If you started at the beginning of the hop, and are hopping in order, you just landed here from Kelly Kent's blog. Aren't her projects always aMAZing? If you started here, click the 'next' link to go on to the next stop. As you can see, the Bella & Friends stamp set is totally adorable, and I thought a shaker card for a child, or a special dog who is like a child (not naming any names here, but you know who you are!) would be cute. Since there are sequins in the shaker, naturally I had to use the Scattered Sequins Dynamic embossing folder! I added some Wink of Stella to some of the embossed sequins, as well as the frosting on the cupcake. And then fussy-cut those two sweet fluffy pups. I'm thinking a short-haired dog would have been a lot easier! That's my project to share, so now it's off to Mike Funke's blog, Stampin' Style, to see what he has in store for you! Thanks for stopping by, and I wish every one of you a blessed New Year!
