Wildly Fun Fold Cards that you must try!!
You can make this Stampin' Up! Wildly Happy Easter Card for yourself with the measurements and supply list included here.
Hi There and Welcome to the March 2020 One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop "Chick Ewe Out". This month's theme is all about Animals or Easter.. our pick! If you have aleady been hopping, thanks so much for continuing! If you are starting with me, please make sure that you check out all of the fabulous inspiration along the way! There is a blog roll at the end of the post that will take you to the next Blog! I'm sure you'll be amazed at the cards and projects shared! I went with Animals instead of Easter and used a combination of the Wildly Happy Stamp Set and the beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I used Pretty Peacock for my cardbase and two pieces of the Tropical Oasis DSP layered onto each other and then cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and added a thin matt of Pool Party Cardsock. i loved this DSP paired with the Elephants. It really looked like a jungle in the background! The elephant image from the Wildly Happy Stamp Set was stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used my Stampin' Blends in Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light Pool Party and Light and Dark Mossy Meadow. I colored everything in prior to cutting it into a Stitched Circle with my Stitched Shapes Dies. Since I'm not usally that great and doing skys or backgrounds, I used a combination of Light Pool Party and Light Petal Pink in sideways strokes for the sky and I love how it turned out. I stamped the sentiment on the lower light green portion of the DSP in versamark and embossed it in black. I ran some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding around the panel and tied it on the right side and then attached the Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals in the upper and lower section avoiding the seam binding. I cut my Curvy Keepsake Box from Tropical Oasis DSP and kept the tag super simple by stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and punch a small hole in the top and then adding more of the Crinkled Seam Binding. Thanks so much for stopping by! You are currently at Tina Riddle's Blog, so just click the name directly under mine, or if I'm last on the list, you can head back up to the top of the blog roll to continue on. It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with: How adorable is this stamp set? It's called Wildly Happy and I was lucky enough to win it as a Prize Patrol giveaway at the last Stampin' Up! Demonstrator event I attended. I made this card for my beautiful daughter Amy's 22nd birthday last week. I coloured the foxes with a Blender Pen and ink. I then cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. I also did a Smoky Slate watercolour wash behind them. I've used a brand new In Color on here - Terracotta Tile. I think it works quite well as foxy fur! I've used the Subtle Embossing Folder on it and then swiped with a White inkpad to give it a bit of a softer feel. That cute spotty paper is part of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper Pack. My colour combo is Terracotta Tile, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate. I hope you like my card. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Hello stampers! I'm back from a lovely time away and I appreciate your patience. Balance in life is a good thing and taking complete time away with your loved ones is so important. Wildly Happy is a stamp set that oozes love. While I think the original intent was for baby cards, I have hopefully shown that it can definitely be adapted for all kinds of other occasions. For some reason I wanted to use the stitched nested labels, the new in colours and the coordinating ribbon on these cards. I also played around with different colouring techniques.
I'm sure Megan Markle would enjoy this cute card for baby Archie.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs stamp set to create a quick card with some of the pretty patterned paper from the Wildly Flowering DSP.

Baby with Wildly Happy Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspirations with Andrea and the Social Stamping Blog Host for September 2020. As I thought about creating a card for this month's theme, "Baby", I heard about Wang Wang and Funi coming into the brief annual opportunity when Funi could become pregnant. Wang Wang and Funi are two Giant Pandas that the Adelaide Zoo has on loan from China. There is no privacy for them as each year at this time our news always covers their exploits, and one year we followed Funi's condition through her phantom pregnancy. I am creating a baby card in the hope that Funi will become truly pregnant this time. I couldn't go past Stampin' Up!s stamp set, Wildly Happy. I have created a fancy fold similar to one Connie Stewart showed recently - I'm not sure what the fold is called but it makes me think of an off-centre Gate-fold. I started with half a standard A4 sheet of Thick Whisper White card-stock, scoring it at 6.5cm from one end and 4cm from the other end; folding both sides in and burnishing. A card background piece was cut from Whisper White card-stock, then cut into two pieces at a similar proportion to the folded card front and die cut with the Detailed Hearts die. These pieces were adhered to the folded card fronts to add subtle interest to the background. As I couldn't find my newly purchased Adhesive Sheets (they must be stored in a "safe" place), I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the gorgeous array of hearts. A piece of Whisper White card-stock was die cut using the fourth largest Stitched Rectangle die and some Mint Macaron card-stock was trimmed to be a little larger to allow a small boarder around the stitched die cut. Some sponging was added to the stitched die cut piece with Mint Macaron Classic ink and a sentiment from the Wildly Happy stamp set was stamped in Mint Macaron Classic ink. I'm using Mint Macaron as this is a gorgeous soft green that would be fine for either a male or female baby panda. The mother and baby panda stamp from the Wildly Happy stamp set was stamped in Gray Granite Classic ink onto a small piece of Whisper White card-stock. The panda's were coloured with Stampin Blends, that is Light and Dark Basic Black, Smokey Slate and Mint Macaron, with the Colour Lifter. The pandas were fussy cut and popped on Dimensionals onto the sponged stitched rectangle, The Mint Macaron card-stock centre mount was adhered to the Right Hand Side card front with the centre piece hanging over the edge so that when the card is closed it would be centred. A piece of twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo pack, which had been coloured with the Light Mint Macaron Blend was tied around the card front. The central piece was adhered to the Mint Macaron mount and over the twine. Three of the oh so gorgeous Elegant Faceted Gems were added as a finishing touch. The card inner was stamped with the pandas and a sentiment in Gray Granite Classic ink and a little sponging in Mint Macaron Classic ink was added. Similar to the card inner, the C6 Whisper White envelope was also sponged and stamped with the pandas. I hope you like my baby panda card. Thank you for taking time to visit the Valley Inspirations blog. Please contact me if you would like any further information about the card; or if you live in Australia and would like the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue and or the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue posted to you; or if I can help in any other way. Baby cards would have to be one of my favourite types of cards to make. I think it's the combo of celebrating a brand new life and having the perfect excuse to go all-out cute! The Wildly Happy stamp set is my go-to set for baby cards at the moment. It's such a sweet set, and I especially like it because it can be used for other occasions too. This card was inspired by a beautiful ShoeBox Swap, designed by one of my lovely team members, Di Cruise. When I say "inspired by", I mean that I made so many boo-boos while making this card, that mine didn't end up looking much like her original card at all! But I always say that there are no mistakes in cardmaking - only embellishment opportunities!! I gave myself lots of embellishment opportunities here, and added lots of lace trimming. These colours are so soft and girly - Petal Pink and Very Vanilla. Now I just need someone to have a baby girl...any volunteers?
