Bridge Card Bridge cards are fun to make especially when it is Halloween! Love using my Halloween dies from Sizzix and Tim Holtz! The pumpkin is a foam sticker that I found at Michael's which I thought would be great for cards! The paper for both of these cards is from Stampin up and Authenique. Found the perfect Halloween sentiment for this card on Pinterest! "May the blackest cat you've ever seen bring you Good Luck this Halloween!" UFold Card This card is a UFold card and I used more of my sizzix dies. I added some googly eyes to the spiders which is always fun to do!! This black cat is from sizzix and it holds the panel down which says "Happy Halloween". When you close the card the panel comes up which is shown below and on the back is another great Halloween sentiment for this card. The paper I used I have had in my stash for so long that I cannot remember the name of it. Card closed to mail This sentiment in the picture is easier to read. I have started early with my Halloween cards I think I might send more out than I usually do! Halloween will be here before you know it!

Cheri is with us today to show us what she's created with her new Shaker! Hello Ai Fans! It's another exciting release day! It's time for new Shaker stamps and images! Hold onto your hats these are going to make you chuckle and put a smile on your face! Today for the New Shaker release I am using the oh so adorable "My Feet Set" (#4680). This cute set comes with the stamped images, die, sentiment and action wobble. Great value for your money that's for sure! To start I gathered up all the supplies I needed. I am using papers from the Tailored Expressions Create A Scene Halloween 6x6 collection. I stamped my image onto Copic X-press it paper with Memento ink in Tuxedo black. I coloured both the monster and the extra set of feet with my Copic Sketch markers I cut all my Design Paper and sentiment out using the Spellbinders Large Octagon metal dies. I am making a 5.5" square card. My base layer is cut at 5 1/2" square, the purple layer is 5 6/8" square and the patterned piece is cut at 5 1/4" square. I glued the octagon pieces onto black cardstock. Using my Mini Perfect Layers tool and craft knife I cut around each of the octagons using the 1/16th mark on the ruler. I wound some purple twine around the left hand side and attached it to the back of my bottom layer. Now that everything is ready I attached all the layers onto a 5 1/2" square pre-made card base. I added little googly eyes to my monster. The monster and sentiment are popped up with foam squares. I made a twine bow and attached a pumpkin button to it. The last step is to add the action wobble to the feet and then lining them up with the full image, attach them to the monster. Here's the side view so you can see how things are layered and the wobble is attached. Copics Used: Monster: V91, V93, V95 tummy and feet pads: BG90, BG93, BG96 Pumpkin: YR02, YR04, YR07, Y18 Below is a quick video of what the action wobble "shake" looks like! Thanks for stopping by today! Head on over to the Ai Online store and check out the new releases! You're gonna love them! Supplies: InLinkz.com Thanks, Cheri! Scene cards are one of my favorite card styles to make. However, when you combine a cascading card with a scene idea, you can put so much more on the card. I made this card after watching a YouTube video by Jen Evers here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Q-6BpqsHCE Her video shows how to make a cascading card which is smaller than most cascading cards; it's actually A2 sized (4.25 x 5.5") and has 3 sections instead of the typical 4. Her tutorial is a mere 3.5 minutes long, but she also shows how to make the larger, 4 section cascading card at the end. This is by far the best video I've ever come across for cascading cards. Thank you so much Jen for your wonderful video. Here's my written tutorial based on her video tutorial: Start off with one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. Place the cardstock on your paper trimmer with the 11" side at the top and cut the paper in half at 5.5". You will now have two pieces of paper, each measuring 5.5" x 8.5". Place the paper on your scoring board with the 8" side across the top and score at 4 1/4". Do this to both pieces. Turn the paper so the 5" side is at the top and make a pencil mark at 3 1/2". Do this for both pieces of paper. Place the paper on a paper trimmer and cut from the 3 1/2" mark to the bottom corner of the opposite side of the paper, cutting off a small triangular piece which gets discarded. Do this for both pieces. Place one piece of paper on your scoring board with the 8" side across the top and the longer of the two vertical sides to the left: Take a ruler and place it horizontally across your scoring board so the left side lines up at 2 3/4" along the left marks on the scoring board. Keep the ruler there as a guide. Score from the top of the paper down at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8", stopping your scoring lines at the top of the ruler. Take your other piece of paper and place it on your scoring board so the diagonal cut is at the top and the longer of the other two sides is at the left. Put your ruler at 2 3/4" again, keeping it there as a guide. Score down from the top at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" as you did previously. Remove the paper from the scoring board and cut along the 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" score lines, stopping where the lines stop (where the ruler was). Do NOT cut the middle score line at all (the one at 4 1/4"). Place your papers in front of you so they form a mountain as shown here, with the cut lines on the left paper at the top and the cut lines on the right paper at the bottom: Fold each paper on it's middle score line at 4 1/4". Stand the papers up and fit the right paper down into the cuts of the left side paper. If the paper doesn't look even at the joints, make one cut for each joint about a 1/4" slightly longer. You only need to make one cut longer for the bigger back joint and one cut for the front, smaller joint. When the paper looks the same height at the intersecting joints, simply press it down, collapsing it: You are ready to decorate it. To get some ideas on how to decorate your card, there are a lot of ideas on Pinterest if you do a search on cascading cards. I used some pieces of acetate on the bats and ghosts to make them look like they were flying. This is what the card looks like from the side: It actually fits inside an envelope that is 5.75 x 8.75". This size envelope often comes in boxes of wedding invitations. I get mine at Joann Fabric when the invitations are on clearance. Below is a picture showing that the card does fit inside the envelope. Of course, you don't have to embellish your card as tall as I did mine. If you leave the height alone and just embellish the front panels, this card will easily fit inside an A2 envelope. Believe it or not, all of the dies I used on my card came from just one place -- the Dies R Us online store: Impression Obsession Spider Web DIE115 Impression Obsession Wide Tree DIE 219 Impression Obsession Trick or Treat DIE342 Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Borders LF1200 Frantic Stamper Ten Fun Felines FRA9100 Frantic Stamper Cute Halloween Icons FRA9583 Frantic Stamper Small Birch Trees FRA9226 Frantic Stamper Cauldron Witch FRA9587 Frantic Stamper Witch Riding Broom FRA9233 Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Hello and Happy Halloween to all. I have some super cute cards to share with you, these are some cards that me and my BFF made this weekend. I think you know my friend is a Stampin Up demonstrator and boy did we have a great time getting ideas from pinterest and youtube, and seeing how well we either adapted the technique or how well we executed the cards. The following cards are the fruits of our labor. Hope you enjoy. I will give a list of supplies used at the end of the picture set. All supplies for the following cards are from Stampin Up. With all of these guys I cut a piece of paper 5 7/8 x 8 1/2 with that I have enough extra for the eyelids and the nose. Monster Mash For her eyelashes I used a circle punch and kept punching slivers off. I used a Crumb Cake marker and a ruler and drew uneven lines all over the paper, I then took 2 (3/4 in) strips and inked the edge and glued them down. The trick to this mummy is that you have to put the Thinlit Frame on the blank side with the side with lines down, if not it won't fold the way you need it to. I hope this clarifies any questions on this guy he is a real cutie. Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder,,Basic Black, Smokey Slate, Lucky Limeade, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie,Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock. Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Smokey Slate, Lucky Limeade, and Cherry Cobbler Ink. & markers. Black Embossing Powder & VersaMark. Thinlits Circke Card, Various size Circles & Ovals, Label Bracket Punch. Stamp Sets Googly Ghouls, Tags 4 You, and Monster Munchies. This was so much fun and I think that the possibilities are endless, one of my new favorites. Thanks as always for stopping by and go crazy with your crafting. Follow Me on Pinterest.
