Venezuela is a country of beautiful landscapes and surprising sights, from the coast to the mountain tops. Magnificent waterfalls tumble off tabletop mountains, and coastal towns and offshore islands offer pleasant escapes and soft-sand beaches. The Andes Mountains, which rise to more than 16,000 feet, make a beautiful backdrop for the countrys cities, which are full of color and life, and the Orinoco Delta is full of animals. Caracas, the capital and largest city in the country, offers its own type of adventure with a number of cultural sites and surrounding attractions.
Foggy Cove A seascape scene that I painted in watercolors. I used a very wet on wet technique to get the sky and background colors, then came in with the ocean and the hills. The waves were lifted out to create the effect of motion. Soft pastels were added on top to make the colors pop. There is no frame included. It has been done on 300 lb acid free watercolor paper. It will be mailed in a flat cardboard mailer. This is an original work of art, and no two watercolors will be exactly alike. Please contact me for prices on different sizes if you would like a print. You are purchasing the original work of art but as the artist I still retain the copyright for future prints.
