8th September 2019 Details from my finished wall hanging made using experimental pieces of eco/rust dyeing fabric from my stash....... ....I have really enjoyed experimenting with stitches, also added tiny beads to the folded silk strip to add texture.... ....added the rusty washer to this.... ....appliqued eco dyed leaves... ....added seed stitch to this eco dyed wool using eucalyptus leaves.... ....this design was made using pins then sprayed with vinegar/water and left for a couple of days, stitched over the pin marks... ....a piece of old linen with a variety of stitches and a hand made bead added.... ...stitch and thread weaving detail.... ...rusty nails and washers added to this piece ....the finished hanging in my hallway! >>>>>>>>> Also finished the baby blanket ready for my new grandchild in November, so excited!! >>>>>>>> Made a template for the felt I made.... ....cut out 3 glasses cases for the McMillan fundraiser... ....hand stitched in blanket stitch... ...just 2 more to stitch. >>>>> My next project is a quilt for my granddaughter made using fabrics from my stash, waiting for the wadding to arrive then I can start the hand stitching. >>>>>>>>> Thought I would share my quirky pot, was given a new plant for it for my birthday, just makes me smile!!!
