This will give you a piece that is 4 1/8” x 2 7/8”. 2- Emboss the 3 ¾” x 5” Copper Clay Cardstock piece with your choice of Embossing Folder, I used Timber 3D Folder. Add this on top of the Gold Foil frame with a small border showing. 3- Cut a strip that is almost 2” x 5” from the Box Pieces, see template above. Randomly stamp the Branch Image in Crumb Cake on this strip. I used the Stamp Off & Stamp On technique to get a lighter image. Add this to the Embossed Copper Clay piece about ¼” from the bottom. 4- Add all these pieces to the front of the Copper Clay Cardbase with dimensionals. 5- Add the two Pumpkin Die Cuts to the right side above the strip with dimensionals. 6- Cut the leaves to separate then and tuck them under the pumpkins. 7- Color the Vanilla Twine with one of the Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend Markers to change the color to match the card. 8- Create a double faux bow with Glue Dots under the Pumpkin Dies. 9- Stamp your greeting in Copper Clay on the Banner Label. Add the greeting over the bow with dimensionals. 10- Add Gold Sequins. All Done! With Love and Gratitude was the perfect Paper Pumpkin kit to open this last weekend and explore. The kit itself came with supplies to make 8 notecards and linen bags. While usually September is a Halloween kit, I liked having a fall kit instead. You could use the bags and notecards for place settings for Thanksgiving, teacher or co-worker appreciation notes, or anything fall that comes your way. In fact, we had a wedding this weekend and I was able to put this great kit to perfect use for the happy couple. Paper Pumpkin is a kit in the mail subscription that includes a project with cut pieces, instructions, an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, ink spot, adhesives, and first-time subscribers also get a clear block. You can review the program and sign-up HERE. As a perk for my subscribers, I put together a list of tips and tricks and alternatives, along with step by step instructions, for all the projects I create each month. To this kit, I did add some additional cardstock (Copper Clay, Basic White, Pebbled Path, Crumb Cake, and Lost Lagoon). I also leveraged by Stylish Shapes Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, and some 23-25 In Color Dots. Below are my alternatives - I hope you enjoy and find some inspiration. Have a craftastic day, Stacy

I used the Star Pattern from the Basic 3D Embossing Folder Pack. 2- Cut the Gold Foil Piece in half at 7/16” x 3” Add one piece at the top and bottom of the Lost Lagoon card front (leftover piece from card #4). Add this to the center of the embossed Basic White piece. 3- From the Envelope leftover piece (card #2). Trim off the curved edge with adhesive. Trim down to 2 ½” x 3 ¼”. Add this to the far right side with dimensionals, don’t add any to the center. 4- Add the 2” x 3 ¼” from the Box Template, leftover from card #2, with no dimensionals, unless they are to support the edges. 5- Wrap White Herringbone Ribbon around the bottom of the pattern paper. Adhere to the edges to the back. Wrap 19” of Linen thread around the middle of the ribbon and tie a bow in the center. 6- Stamp the Branch image on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut out. Here is a fun technique I used to get a variegated look to your images. • Ink with Lost Lagoon all over, add Mossy Meadow with a Stampin’ Sponge Dauber to add another layer of color to the leaves. • Then color with a Copper Clay Stampin’ Write Marker to Branch sections and again with the Pebbled Path Marker on the Berries section. • Do the same technique with a tissue over the whole image, stamp on Basic White cardstock. 7- Fussy cut out and add over the White Ribbon and under the Linen Thread with dimensionals on the left side. Leave space for a greeting to the right side. 8- Stamp your greeting in Pebbled Path above the ribbon. (this is why there should be no dimensionals in the center). 9- Add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals. 10- Add Gold Sequins. I did this by removing a small 1/16” strip from one of the folded edges. Then cut down the score lines along the flap of the box. This will give you a large rectangle with a triangle shape at the top. Measure 4 ¾” from the tip of the triangle and cut, to give you a shorter shape. See video for visual step by step instructions. 2- Add two coordinating ribbons about ½” above the corners on the banner. I used the large Natural Ribbon from the Combo Pack see the above listing & the Copper Clay Textured Ribbon. Fray the ends if you want. 3- Add the Large Branch Die Cut from the kit with dimensionals to the right side. 4- Stamp your greeting above the Ribbons and to the left of the die cut, with a neutral ink color, I used Pebbled Path. 5- Emboss a piece of Cardstock 4” x 5 ¼” and add to the front of the cardbase of similar color (Mossy Meadow). 6- Add the Banner so the top edge meets with the embossed paper and is in the center with dimensionals. Add some Gold Sequins. All Done! Create beautiful fall cards with the September Paper Pumpkin kit. Several ideas are shown and directions included.
Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities September Blog Hop and this month we are sharing alternative project ideas using the Love & Gratitude Kit. This beautiful kit has a lovely Fall feel to it, which is perfect for this time of year. Our Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas to help you get into the spirit of the season. One of my favorite things about this kit are the wonderful die cuts used to decorate the cards and bags. They have an almost vintage feel to them and I knew that I wanted to use them for my focal image. Instead of creating the small card in the kit, I decided to show how to transform the pieces from that card into a full size card that you could mail to a friend. To achieve this, I added a Pebbled Path cardstock card base and a Basic White cardstock layer to help frame the focal design. I love how these beautiful colors work together to create this versatile card design that could be used for a variety of occasions. Products Used: September Paper Pumpkin Love & Gratitude Kit 2 3/8" Circle Punch (item #161354) Pebbled Path Cardstock (item #161722) Basic White Cardstock (item #159276) Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack (item #161633) Festive Pearls (item #159963) Measurements: Pebbled Path Cardstock Card Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Scored at 4 1/4") Basic White Cardstock Layer 1 - 5" x 3 3/4" Love & Gratitude Kit Lost Lagoon Texture Card Front - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" This card design is very much a CASE of the design on the small card from the kit. I cut the small Lost Lagoon card base to create the card front and then stamped the tone on tone background design using the large leaf stamp from the exclusive stamp set with the Lost Lagoon Stampin' Spot onto the card front. I love how the combination of the textured background and the stamped leaves creates a pretty background that helps anchor the focal design. I layered the Lost Lagoon card front onto the Basic White cardstock layer and then added a piece of Gold 1/8" Trim around the card front to cover the fold score line. You could add a bow if you wanted to, but I wanted to keep the design relatively clean. I then added this layer to the Pebbled Path card base with Stampin' Dimensionals from the kit. To decorate the card front, I added a Pebbled Path circle that I punched out with the 2 3/8" Circle Punch, to the bottom left corner of the Lost Lagoon card front. I layered the die cuts from the kit to create the focal image, adding the pumpkin with Stampin' Dimensionals. For the sentiment, I stamped the For You image with the Lost Lagoon Stampin' Spot to the sentiment label from the kit and attached it to the card front, making sure to tuck the left end underneath the pumpkin die cut. To complete the card design, I added several of the light green pearls from the Festive Pearls for a touch of bling. I love that these pearls are close enough in color to coordinate with the Lost Lagoon elements for this card. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
