Our May release of Memory Keepers Studio – Summer Adventures and Fresh Cut Studio – Summer (shipping 5/15). Plus, check out all that is new and available for May. Here is what I created with the set. I made a layout for our May color challenge at Emma’s Paperie that will be up on the blog soon. In addition, I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers. I downloaded free files from Jen Show called Life Printable Word Strips that I used on this layout. I stamped various words and sentences from the Summer Adventures stamp set. The large “summer” word I created from my handwriting and cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I added some Whipped Spackle to the background with a triangle mask and sprinkled some color shine. Here is a card I created using the brand new Mom’s Day stamp set paired up with Happy Butterfly die. It can be used for many different occasions. I added some white gesso to the background and yellow paint. I stamped and cut out the sentiments adding them to the card using 3D Foam adhesive from Therm O Web. Have a great Monday!

Hello and a Happy Sunday to you. Today I have my first ever 'word' LO since being on the DT for 'One Little Word'. It feels so exciting creating along with this very talented group of ladies. If you aren't familiar with this challenge blog come an see for yourself. Each month there will be a new word. You can then create whatever you fancy inspired by that particular word. This month the word is 'DO'. What does this word mean to you? Here is my LO. With Hollie just starting her GCSE's last week, school has become serious. I made a 'here is my advice to you...' LO for her. Life is changing now. Not only with school now but also with independence, freedom and learning how to manage as a young adult. It's changing for all of us. The photo was taken in the summer on her 14th birthday. The LO took me forever. I stitched each line by hand. The clouds were handcut, misted and stamped and I added the journal strips, each one starting with the word 'DO'. The 'GO SEE DO' card is from Cocoa Daisy and those Studio Calico Butterfly Rubbons that I've had for so long now. I'd love you to see how the other girls have been inspired by this word. Всем привет! Сегодня я хочу показать вам новую страничку и заодно предложить вам новый совместный проект, так что буду рада услышать ваши мысли. Сначала страничка. Сделана она для бога моего магазина. 1 января у нас начался новый страничный скетч, и моя работа сделана как раз по нему. И конечно, я приглашаю и вас поучаствовать в этом задании. Наверняка у вас есть фотографии с этого нового года и пора их уже начинать скрапить, пока не стерлись воспоминания (хотя вы конечно можете заскрапить любые фотографии). Итак, страничка. Размер этой странички 20*30 см. Она пойдет в мой новый альбом, по которому я как раз и хочу начать новый совместный проект. Для создания странички использовала волшебную бумагу от ММЕ из коллекции Find Your Wings And Fly. Очень красивая коллекция. Мне хочется из нее творить яркие и многодетальные работы. Так же я использовала наклейки из чипборда, брадс, ленту, новый декоративный скотч, вырубку сделанную с помощью Big Shot, а также наклейки-слова (вот эти). Ну а теперь о совместном проекте. Последнее время очень многие из нас "сходят с ума" по краскам и стилю микс-медиа. Да что уж тут скрывать, я и сама малость "повернута" на этом стиле. :))) Но не хочется ли вам хоть иногда отдохнуть от всех этих брызг, клякс и потеков и сделать что-то более традиционное, и заодно уделить больше внимания истории, которая происходит на фотографиях. Поэтому я предлагаю всем нам сделать альбом в Американском стиле - он получится у нас тоже многослойный и многодетальный, но без красок. Вам может на первый взгляд показаться, что этот стиль легче, чем микс-медиа, но на самом деле это не так. И творить в нем, кстати, тоже сплошное удовольствие. Итак, что я предлагаю. Сделать альбом, например на 4 разворота + обложка, в американском стиле. Размер моего альбома - 20*30 см. У вас может быть любой формат. С темой своего альбома я пока определяюсь. Планирую на каждый этап давать небольшие задания, чтобы было интересней. Ну и в конце проекта разыграю каким-либо образом приз от моего магазина... Для тех, кто плохо представляет что такое Американский стиль - вот ТУТ - вы можете найти информацию, а так же большую подборку работ в этом стиле. Hello blogging friends. I am back today sharing a couple of fun summer layouts with you. The first one, Sangria & Summer Serenades, I created with the bright and fun Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness collection. With Summer in full swing I just couldn't help myself! One of my favorite things about summer is just enjoying outdoor cafes where you can people watch and be serenaded by a couple tall, dark and handsome guys. These guys found me enjoying tapas and my first Sangria in Barcelona when I was there on a business trip a few years ago. I wish there had been more time to explore this beautiful city ... hopefully I can return one day. This chipboard lady looks like she could be people watching in an outdoor cafe too! You can see some of the fussy cut flowers here, a decorative bradz, and some bright yellow enamel dots. I created a little border here to separate my photos from my title and journaling. I used the sticker alpha sheet and chipboard letters to create my colorful title. I just love these chipboard letters. The floral paper was just begging to be fussy cut. I arranged the flowers in clusters around my main photo. By using foam adhesive behind some of the flowers I was able to create some dimension. For my second layout, Hello Sunshine ... This is Paradise, I used the beautiful You Are Here! collection to document a vacation day just relaxing by a fabulous pool. I added a wood veneer word , stickers, and a few phrases from the washi paper tape down the side to embellish the words already there. A chipboard frame was the perfect spot for my journaling. I added some palm leaves and a tropical drink that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. Enamel dots and decorative bradz are my go to embellishments for all my layouts. Thanks for stopping by today! Hi there! It's Flóra here with my very first project as a Paige Evans Design Team member. This time of the year I like to think back and collect the best and most important moments of the past year. I got an idea from the #2016bestnine hastag, so I created a grid design with nine 2"x2" photos. For the base I used the Pink Paislee Paige Evans Take Me Away Paper 15. I am not a big fun of purple, but this paper is just simply pretty. I cut apart Take Me Away Paper 07 and placed the colorful square as a layer under the photos. This squared patchwork patterned paper is so cool, I love that I don't need to destroy lots of papers just for a small scrap. After I adhered the photos I embellished each with many fun elements. I love to mix the Take Me Away and Fancy Free embellishments as they coordinate perfectly. I added lots of die-cuts from Take Me Away Ephemera Die Cuts pack and Epoxy Paper Clips, Fabric Bows, Buttons, Chipboard Stickers as well. For the title I used Take Me Away Carefree Alpha Stickers and Fancy Free Fancy Glittered Foam Sticker. To keep the balance I scattered more teal glittered foam shapes all over the page. I always like to add the glitter touch, it makes my projects sparkle. I hope you like my first project made with Pink Paislee Paige Evans goodies. I really like the result as it turned out so fun and colorful as my past year. Hi everyone! Geralyn here, and I have a new layout to share with you all. Summer is upon us, and I couldn't help reflect back on last summer. It was pretty amazing, so I decided to do an overview layout with photos from last summer. I used the new Be You and Big Words stamp sets, as well a few older Mama Elephant ones. Love that font for 'utterly amazing', from the Be You stamp set. The cute clouds are from last month's Sunny Skies. On this printable tag I designed, I stamped 'I heart you' from the Hello set. The word 'unforgettable' to the left is from the Today Was set. There are so many fun and cool, graphic stamps in the Be You set: pictured here is the epic circle stamp, photo stamp and heart arrow stamp. I also used the word 'love' from the Big Words set for part of my title. So yes, lots and lots of stamping on this page I think the Mama Elephant stamps were perfect for adding extra little touches to this layout. Thanks for stopping by! Hey, friends! Missy here, and I'm back to share a new layout combining a ton of Shimmerz Paints. I've had this gorgeous geometric heart cut file in my files for a while. It's from Just Nick Studio, and I decided to cut it on some white cardstock and create my own stencil. I placed the stencil over another sheet of white cardstock and went to town with all kinds of Shimmerz. I used some of the new Paste-eez and Acritonez as well as some Coloringz, Vibez, Inklingz and Creameez. I used an old credit card to smudge some paste over the stencil, and I used some plastic packaging, a brush, my finger...a little bit of everything! I embellished with some bits and pieces from an old Hip Kit, including some exclusive die cuts and stickers. I also fussy cut some flowers from a Simple Stories paper, some Crate Paper rubber charms, some wood veneer and a Freckled Fawn puffy word sticker. To get this beautiful and colorful background, I used some washi tape to hold the stencil to the background paper. Since the inner pieces are so thin, I had to apply all the Shimmerz very carefully so I wouldn't tear them. I mixed and match so many of the colors. I also added some splattering. Here you can see how gorgeous the colors look together. This is a mix of Paste-eez Raspberry Sherbet & Hold the Mustard as well as Acritonez Pinkadelic, Coloringz Pretty in Pink, Mandarin Mai Tai, Vibez Sweetheart and Inklingz Beets Me. I used lots of blues and aquas including Acritonez Blue My Top, Coloringz Well Blue Me Down & Heidi Ho Blue, Vibez Snow Way Man, Inklingz Me & Blue and Blue Lagoon. I used a few of the Hip Kit Project Life cards as layers behind my photo and then layered the flowers around the edges. I also added some fun foam under it for dimension as well as some tangled thread. I just love how this turned out! I made sure to let the pinks dry first before coming in with the blues. You can see how the blue stands out on top of the pink. That's because I let it dry before mixing. I love how easily the Shimmerz products blend and work together. The pastes blend with the acrylics, and they blend with the liquids as well. You can't beat that :) Here's one more close up of the photo area. The dimension here turned out really nice. I love the shadowing it creates! I have a process video to share of this page...I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration! I'm so jealous of you Northern Hemispherians still enjoying your Summer sunshine at the moment. It's Natalie here, and I'm shivering my way through the cold of Winter down in Australia. I could easily do warm weather all year round, I seriously think I'm more suited to the tropics. I'll take any opportunity to escape the cold, so when it comes to family holidays in Winter I'll chose somewhere hot. Every single time. We recently had a vacation in Queensland which is much closer to the equator and known for it's lovely weather. In fact, it's one of the common phrases here to describe Queensland as "beautiful one day, perfect the next". I'm sure it came from some tourist campaign, but hey... it also makes a catchy title don't you think?! I used my favourite Modern Mercantile collection for this layout, but mixed in a generous amount of pink to coordinate with my girl's bathing suits. Those butterfly stickers are still ranked amongst my most used supplies. And those gold feather rubons? Perfection. One of the only good things about colder weather is that it makes the perfect excuse for staying inside and scrapping. So since I was on a roll I couldn't help but make a card with my Modern Mercantile supplies as well. This time I chose to mix in a touch of red highlights to bring a fresh persepective on the collection. I love how adding in a new colour each time gives it a whole different feel. But there's one thing that will remain a staple to me and that's butterflies. This time I chose to go BIG! I took one of the classic rubon butterflies and transferred it to acetate. After cutting around it I was able to bend up the wings a bit and give it some dimension whilst still keeping it's translucent quality. You could probably create a similar effect with vellum too, but I appreciate how sturdy this stuff is and I know it won't get ruined if I shove place this in an envelope. Enjoy your summer! Hello friends! It's the start of a new week and I have a new layout to share. I decided to reorganize my scrap space (one closet, LOL!) and discovered some products that I had forgotten I had (how can that be?!). However, I do love it when that happens because it's all new stuff that I get to play with, just like this awesome collection by Glitz Design! I was so excited to discover it, I had a bit of free time during nap time so I made a quick layout about me. I have a serious love for the Glitz roller stamps, this particular stamp is a perfect match for this collection, which has the matching stickers. Now what I love best on this layout is the dream catcher, as a teenager I would collect dream catchers, somewhere along the way I stopped collecting them but I didn't lose my love for dream catchers. Of course, the dream catcher had to have a prominent place on this layout.

Happy Monday, Shimmerz fans! Missy here with you, and today I'm sharing a layout I created using one of the new PickPocket Stakz cards. If you love to color or paint, these are perfect for you! I love these small 3x4 sized cards because they're small and they can be worked into a scrapbooking layout design pretty easily. I painted this one and used it as a big embellishment. I used a lot of Shimmerz products on this page. I used mostly Creameez and Iklingz to color the card with a few touches of Coloringz and Vibez. I used a small paint brush and just painted everything on...I'm definitely not a professional painter, and this is really easy to do. The color combos are endless, and it didn't take that long to do. I used some papers from my stash including the Studio Calico Wanderlust collection and the original Maggie Holmes line. My flair buttons are from A Flair For Buttons. Here's a look at the Stakz card up close. As you can see, it's not perfect. I love that it's kind of messy. I tried to create a pinkish/orange blend on the flowers using Creameez Piggy Pink, Berry Hot & Daffodil mixed with Inklingz Can't Elope. The leaves are painted with Inklingz The Holly and the Ivy. The blue background is a mix of Creameez Ride the Tide and Vibez Jeni B Bleu. I used a black pen to color in the words. It really is fun to mix similar colors together to create different tones. I added some machine stitching, some hand cut flowers, tangled thread and a few stickers. I cut the two large scribbly circles on my Cameo (from a file I purchased in the Silhouette Store). I used them as stencils first. I put some Creameez Ride the Tide onto some plastic packaging and smushed it over the die cuts to create a messy design on the cardstock and then added some Vibez over them. Once that dried, I glued the die cuts down and went over them with some white gesso to blend out the pattern a bit. I came in with some Coloringz No Yoking on some plastic packaging. Once I knew where the card and my photo were going to go, I added a bit of the Piggy Pink Creameez with a brush to pick up the color from the card. Here you can see some of the layering I created using some of the Maggie Holmes flower paper and a few die cuts. I added some tangled thread under my flair button here and added lots of ink splatters to the background. I brought in a few die cuts from the Simple Stories Carpe Diem collection as well as a few Elle's Studio stamps. I also added in some washi tape strips from my stash.
