After ordering, please, send us a picture of your pet to our email [email protected] or to our IG @anxiing The rugs in pictures are 80 x 60 cm, done with tufting handgun and 100% acrylic yarn in Finland. PRODUCTIONFirst, we will make a sketch from the picture of your pet. After the adjustments of the sketch (if needed) we will craft the rug. It takes up to 10 days, usually faster. You will need 3 strands of yarn to complete 1 fringe. To attach the fringe, grab 3 strands of yarn. Use a crochet hook to push through the far left foundation chain. Fold 3 strands in half and loop the middle of the strands onto the crochet hook and pull the loop of strands through the chain about 2 inches. Fold the strands through the loop. Tighten to create the fringe. Repeat for every other foundation chain. Trim the fringe to your preferred length. Hanging the Project To attach the project to the dowel rod or tree branch: using a yarn needle, weave the tail over the dowel/branch and back under into the 1st st on top of the wall hanging. Repeat for each stitch on the top of the wall hanging. Knot off and weave in your ends. To hang the project, drill 2 small holes on either side of the piece. Thread through both holes with cotton yarn and knot off both ends. Trim excess yarn. (feel free to use your preferred method of hanging the project) ENJOY! Jeg vil på forhånd advare utålmodige sjæle om, at det tager noget tid at lave sådan et tæppe – ihvertfald det store tæppe, men hvis man godt kan lide at nørkle med den slags projekter, mens man sidder i sofaen – så er det bare med at komme i gang. Det er nemlig slet ikke svært. Jeg valgte at lave det store vægtæppe ombré, hvor jeg startede med helt lyst øverst og så arbejdede jeg mig nedad med mere og mere mørkt. Mit er lavet i blålige toner med nister i rosa/pudder – og det ender ud med helt mørk blå i bunden. Det lille tæppe lavede jeg i helt i blålige toner og forsøgte mig med en simpel trekant i midten af tæppet. Til ryatæpperne har jeg især brugt heavy wool mix, som changerer i farverne og baby alpaca fra Stof og stil. Det er vigtigt, at du bruger mest tykt garn, da projektet ellers bliver et evighedsprojekt:-) Indimellem kan du godt blende tyndere garnrester ind fx for mere farvespil. […]
