Tosha has another terrific sketch design for the CCEE challenge this week, and we'd love it if you played along! You can get all the details and see my teammates cool samples here. For my card, I used this darling witch image from Rubbernecker's Halloween set. There are some really cute images and sentiments in this set. I made her cauldron with Stampin' Up's decorative ornament punch with a portion of the top cut off and I added a piece of drippy goo border punch on the top of it, as well as my border under the three designer papers section. I colored my little witch with Copic markers and added this pom pom ribbon trim. Isn't she witchin'???

Hi there & welcome! Today's card is a cute little stamp and sentiment telling us to always be true to ourselves and that's a pretty good life lesson. I always say you don't need to be a zebra amongst the zebras! The card was quick and easy to make. I splattered Bundled Sage and Forest Moss distress inks onto white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in the corner at an angle. So easy when you don't have to worry about getting it on straight! Be sure to check out the Rubbernecker Stamps blog for tons of inspiration and also the Rubbernecker Facebook Page. There is also a Facebook Fan Page with lots of inspiration, updates on sales & product and a great place to post your Rubbernecker Stamps creations. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Do you have a company of stamps that just make you feel good? I do. I adore Rubbernecker Stamps. They are foolproof! They are designed with a watercolor feel, so even the most horrible stamped image comes out beautiful every time! I mean it! I was dog sitting for a good friend of mine, and I brought a pile of pre-cut watercolor paper and this rubbernecker stamp set. I had more fun combining colors and stamping dozens of images to see the effect I got. They all came out beautifully. Here are a few of the images I finally got a chance to match with a background and mounted on folded card stock. Take a look: I took the time to re-set up my indoor light box in the corner of my craft room. I experimented with different colored backgrounds and tons of lighting. I STILL prefer my outdoor photos, but some days I am just not able to get outside due to temperature, or inclement weather. I turned up my exposure on my camera and brighten these photos up with my Microsoft Picture Manager. They still seem dark to me. What do you think? Huh.....so much to learn about this card making/paper craft obsession of mine!! :) Please leave a comment, it makes my day to hear from you!

Hi everyone! Up with the birds on this fine Sunday and had a chance to whip up a card for this weeks flower theme challenge over at Less is more. Flower stamp is a two step set from Rubberneckers. I used distress markers and spritzed with water to get the water color effect. Sentiment is from Verve. I just picked up this wonderful burlap border die from Cherry Lynn Designs. It reminds me more of magic mesh than burlap though. I cut it out of white cardstock and then used scattered straw distress dye to color it. To get it to stick I used dry adhesive called wacky tack from K&Company. I think I'll try using a glue stick next time so that it will adhere better. Well, I'm off to hop around some blogs to see what everyone else has been creating. Have a creative day and thanks for stopping in! ETA: Just saw that the Paper Players have a CAS flower challenge as well - so added this to it.

Hello friends. I hope you are having a great day! I was playing with this beautiful Serendipity Thistle stamp for last month's class and had an extra that I stamped different color dots on trying to decide which color to go with. I ultimately decided on the pale yellow, but liked how it looked with all the different colors. The thistle stamp, which includes the butterfly, was so easy to ink with markers. The MISTI is such a great tool for this technique! I die cut around the bottom and put the design on a piece of mauve cardstock. It looked like it needed a little something else, so I scored the bottom of the mauve piece. Serendipity has a blog hop on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Mary always has some good sales and if you comment on all the blogs of the Design Team, you get a chance to win a gift certificate to Serendipity. Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments. Enjoy! Card Recipe Stamps: Thistle (Serendipity), Tulips (Technique Tuesday) Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Distress Markers (Picked Raspberry, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Spiced Marmalade), SU Marker (Cajun Craze) Paper: Neenah, Sweet Sugarplum (ret. Hi and I hope you are well. I am using one of my favourite sentiment stamps again and pairing it with this silly bird who looks like maybe he's being just a little sarcastic! The sentiment just cracks me up and is so versatile that you are able to use it on so many different cards. We've had some changes to our challenges at Rubbernecker and it now runs for one month, and the theme is more general and very easy to follow. The challenge can be found in our Facebook Fan Group, if you haven't already joined...what are you waiting for? You have a chance to win a $10 certificate to the Rubbernecker Stamp Store and I don't know a single person who couldn't spend that in a stamp shop Be sure to check out the Rubbernecker Stamps blog for tons of inspiration and also the Rubbernecker Facebook Page. Morning. Today I am playing with one of my favourite flower stamps by Rubbernecker called Flowers in the Breeze. It is a fun layering stamp and easy to use to create a field of flowers. The sentiment is a new one to me by Verses called Love Becomes a Memory and today was the day it needed to see some ink. I began by placing the flower stamp into my Misti, coloured directly onto my stamp with my Zig markers, sprayed with water and stamped onto 120lb watercolor paper. I repeated that process, using a darker shade of the red for the second stamping. I then stamped the leaves and stems and let it dry. I placed the sentiment into my Misti, inked with Archival ink, stamped and embossed with clear just to help it pop. Adding my card to these challenges: Brown Sugar- ANYTHING GOES Simply Papercrafts- ANYTHING GOES Aud Sentiments- ANY SENTIMENT EXCEPT BIRTHDAY Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look. Supplies: stamps- Rubbernecker, Verses/ Zig markers/ Misti/ TH mister/ ink- Archival/ clear eb powder *edited to add: This is a good video to help those of us that struggle with layering stamps. I found it helpful using my Misti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWqo0X6wuMI
