John D. Rockefeller donated the funds to start the University of Chicago in 1890. The Rockefeller Chapel is the dominant structure on campus and can seat 1,700 people. It was designed by Bertram Goodhue and opened in 1928.

The John D. Rockefeller Chapel at the University of Chicago designed by Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue is so beautiful. It was completed in 1928 and is a classic example of Gothic Revival Architecture. This vertical fine art photograph will be digitally printed on Premium Luster Paper (luster is a spectacular finish with the durability of matte and the simple beauty of gloss). Monitor color display calibrations differ, therefore, the color in the photo prints may be slightly different than what you view online.
