A very elegant variant: riding skirt with an elegant border. The different models shown here are only shown as color variations. The skirt with a wide wrap waistband is for sale here. This classic riding skirt made of softshell is handmade for you. It is particularly suitable for winter as it is water and wind repellent and keeps rider and horse warm. The riding skirt is placed around the waist like a wrap skirt. The wide waistband can be adjusted in width using a Velcro fastener and belt, so it fits perfectly. On the sides, inside, there are loops for the legs so that the skirt doesn't get blown away while riding. The border is usually black/gold and is woven. The pattern can be agreed upon, but depends on what is available. If the riding skirt is a different color, I choose a border that harmonizes best with the color. ATTENTION! About The Artwork Hello. Thank you for your interest! My studio is located in Islamorada, Florida—which is a skinny, remote island chain in the middle of the ocean, just north of Key West, Florida. The linocuts in this collection are a love letter to my small tropical community. If you haven't been here, you have to visit, we are often referred to as "America's Caribbean." It is my hope that these pieces transport you to our simple, rustic way of life. **These are original numbered editions. I sell them at galleries in addition to this online forum, so the number you will be receiving is likely different than the number on the art in the representative photo. Please contact me if you would like to know the exact edition number you will be receiving. Each of my prints are hand-drawn and then hand-carved (in negative) on a linoleum block. Once the block is carved I roll it with ink and press the paper to the wet block using a traditional Japanese baren. No two pieces are alike. The markings and imperfections that transfer to the page in the pressing process are celebrated as part of the linocut esthetic. The centuries old linocut technique is often associated with street or outsider art, and has a rich history that gained momentum when Picasso embraced the medium in the 1950's.
