Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #604. I used the Stampin' Up! Rhino Ready Stamps & Tropical Leaf Stamps along with Naturally Gilded Speciality DSP to create my "Hello" card. For my card base I used Starry Sky cardstock followed by the Naturally Gilded Specialty DSP. The gilded paper was "colored" using inks and blending brushes. I started with Starry Sky ink at the top of the paper, then added a small area of Balmy Blue ink followed by Evening Evergreen ink along the bottom portion. Using a soft cloth, I wiped the excess ink off the silver portions of the card. Vellum Basics Speciality Paper was layered over the Starry Sky cardstock. The rhino was stamped with Memento ink and colored using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Markers and die cut. Wink of Stella was added on the Rhino horn, eyes & toes. The leaves behind the rhino were die cut from the Tropical Leaf Stamp set using Evening Evergreen cardstock. Once I had the leaves places where I wanted, I adhered them with liquid adhesive. The rhino was adhered with dimensionals. I used Starry Sky ink for the sentiment and quickly added clear embossing powder over it and heat set. The embellishments are Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls. I also added some color to the gilded paper the same as above for my envelope flap. Inside my card is Basic White cardstock with a 1" strip of the gilded paper on the right. I also added some color on this strip with inks and blending brushes. I love the large tropical leaves, and that designer paper! Wow! The large leaves are all from the coordinating dies, Tropical Layers. Don't miss that cute stitched zigzag border--one of the dies! The patterned paper has the zigzag border and a strip of the Layering Designs Vellum attached, before adhering to the Basic Black card base. And then the leaves - a black fern, the Mossy Meadow leaves and the Calypso Coral palm leaf, all cut with the dies. This card just makes me feel good - sending all the hugs!
