This is a worksheet to help students practice writing rhythmic values. They can fill it out with pencil, or you can put them in dry-erase sleeves to reuse. The notes are large enough that any writing utensil should work-- even thick chisel markers. Values Used: Quarter Note Paired Eighths Quarter Rest Half Note When I teach this, I usually put a fun activity like Color-By-Note on the back side for kids who finish quickly. This is very helpful because some kids will breeze through it while others will be perfectionists and take forever to get their notes exactly right. If you'd like a version of this with easier or harder rhythms, let me know. I'd be willing to make more of these worksheets and create a bundle.
