Stmapin' Up! card making idea with Share A Milkshake for Stamp Review Crew hop by Jay Soriano craft supplies available from Mitosu Crafts UK
I had an idea (pretty common occurrence), and thought thought it would be interesting to see how the Share a Milkshake dies look when using the beautiful watercolor backgrounds from the Dainty Flowers Sale-a-Bration paper!! I love how they turned out.. they are very frothy, kinda sherbet-y, and very soft and colorful! After die cutting the shapes, I decided to see how they looked if I stamped on some of them. The goblet looked great with the extra stamping, and some of the other shapes looked amazing as well! This Valentine card idea seemed so sweet with the

Happy Sunday, friends! Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players! This week, Jaydee is hosting our Sketch Challenge. Sketch Challenges are always my favorite! I especially love this one because it is a simple layout with a lot of possibility! At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to make a square card with this sketch but then thought “what the heck!” since I rarely make them. I sure hope you will get crafty and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create with this fun sketch! *I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post. Color Combo: Tahitian Tide Polished Pink Mango Melody Flirty Flamingo For my card, I decided to use one of my FAVORITE bundles in the January - April Mini Catalog, the Share a Milkshake stamp set and coordinating dies. Everything about this bundle just makes me happy. I am smitten with the cute images and the playful font on the sentiments! It’s so fun to build up the little milkshake and ice cream images. Gotta love those little details, right? I just love that pop of pattern behind the images, the little bubbles work perfectly and tie the colors together. That pattern is part of the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also used the Flower’s & More Host Exclusive DSP for the blue and pink pattern (inside the card). This is a really fun paper pack that has floral designs on one side and basic “everyday” patterns on the other. I really like how this card came out and I hope you do as well. You can’t go wrong when sweet treats are involved! :-) Card Measurements & Details: Tahitian Tide Card Base: 5” x 10”, scored at 5" Polished Pink Cardstock: 4-7/8” x 4-7/8” Flowers & More Host Exclusive Designer Series Paper: 4-3/4” x 4-3/4” Tahitian Tide Cardstock: scrap to die-cut the 4th largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper: 2-1/2” (just under) x 3-3/4” (just over) Basic White Cardstock: scrap for stamping and die-cutting milkshake images, accent images with Wink of Stella for added sparkle Stamp ice cream in Polished Pink, Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo Stamp cherries in Sweet Sorbet and Crumb Cake Stamp glasses in Crumb Cake - solid image stamped-off once and detailed image full-strength Early Espresso Cardstock: small scrap for die-cut “chocolate” Basic White Cardstock: 2-1/8” x 1/2”, stamp sentiment in Soft Suede ink and banner punch both ends with Banners Pick A Punch White Glittered Organdy Ribbon & In Color Opal Rounds Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4-3/4” x 4-3/4” Flowers & More Host Exclusive Designer Series Paper (card interior): 4-3/4” x 3/4” Flowers & More Host Exclusive Designer Series Paper (card interior): scrap to die-cut hearts Finally a peek inside the card! I simply added a coordinating sentiment, a strip of DSP and a trio of die cut hearts from another pattern in the DSP pack. This is such a cheery card and reminded me that I need to use Tahitian Tide more often than I do. Haha! I think it would be a fun birthday card and I know exactly who I’m sending it to! I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Sketch Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! Letzte Woche hatte ich Dir ja schon die erste Karte mit dem Produktpaket “Share a Milkshake” gezeigt. Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for our Team Blog Hop to celebrate the January-April Mini Catalogue from Stampi'n' Up! I have been having heaps of fun playing with a few of the new products, but the Share a Milkshake Bundle was just the most obvious choice to share with you today. I absolutely LOVE sharing time
The Share a Milkshake bundle is SWEET and super fun to create with. We made this fun card at my March card clubs: You can see the Share a Milkshake bundle here; it's filled with cute 2-step images, quirky font greetings and fabulous dies. See that straw in the ice cream? It fits into a 'slit' in the die-cut ice cream piece. *This bundle is carrying over into the new Annual catalog but it will not be a bundle at...

This bundle is so fun. Today I am sharing the Share a Milkshake Bundle - Class Projects. Don't miss out on this fun class.
Do you do this, too...make a card, and then make several versions of it? You actually saw versions two & three of my Vertical Center Step Fold cards on Wednesday and Thursday this past week. But

Bonus, the Share A Milkshake Stamp Set & Dies are now 50% off! Did you miss the first two card demos? Find them here: https://www.juliescraftattic.com/2024/04/share-milkshake-demo-free-class.html https://www.juliescraftattic.com/2024/04/share-milkshake-les-shoppes-ice-cream.html Here's today's card: I'll include a photo supply list at the end of this post. Just click on the item to open it up in my online store. Watch my FREE demo Shop with me now To make this card, I started by cutting a tag from Basic White Cardstock, using the Designer Tags Dies. I then stamped my sentiment from the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set onto it in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I love the decorative Designer Tags Dies, especially for the largest tag, which you can feed ribbon through: Next, I stamped a cherry in Sweet Sorbet Ink, repeatedly and randomly, over a 3 3/4" x 5" panel of Basic White Cardstock. Helpful Hints: rotate the cherry each time you stamp, for a random look. Also, make sure to stamp over the edges of the panel. Sweet Sorbet is one of the 2022-2024 In Colors™ retiring at the end of the month. It's a good idea to order your Sweet Sorbet items now, before they sell out. As I write, the Ink Refill has sold out, but the ink pad, cardstock, and markers are still available. I attached the stamped cherry panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" Basic Black Cardstock panel. Then I cut enough Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon to feed through the tag, and adhere to the back of the Basic Black panel - but I did not adhere it yet. First, I added a little Stampin' Seal to the back of the tag, then adhered the ribbon to it. I also applied Stampin' Dimensionals™ to the tag and attached it to the cherry panel. Then I secured the ribbon's ends to the back of the Basic Black panel with Mini Glue Dots™. I then fed a small length of the ribbon through the piece on the card, at the left of the tag. I tied and trimmed it. A very similar ribbon - Black & White Gingham - is retiring soon and currently on sale. It would work great in this card! Here it is: Using the Cherry Builder Punch, I punched out a: cherry from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock leaf from Parakeet Party Cardstock stem from Pecan Pie Cardstock I pieced the cherry together with tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then used Stampin' Dimensionals™ to add the cherry to the card. This fantastic punch is retiring soon and 50% off. At just $15, it's a steal! As a final touch, I embellished with 2022-2024 In Color™ Pearls. They've now sold out, but another embellishment of your choice would work equally well. Thanks for joining me today!
