All tissue paper, gift boxes, gift paper, seals, cards, mailers, ribbon, charms, jewelry boxes, artificial flowers and all other decorations for packaging and mailing are NEW which I purchase and have been doing so for 24-1/2 years. I do not like to use packing material that is not new as I do not know where it has been and how it has been stored. The only thing I recycle are cardboard boxes for large orders. This large vintage Starfish belonged to my Mother who would have been 109 years old this June 2024.. She purchased it decades ago when we went for a vacation in Florida in the early 1950s. When growing up, I remember it decorated the bookcase with a multitude of large sea shells and other fabulous ocean shells from my Mother's collection. It is in shades of beige and light brown and measures appx. 12" across the bottom from one arm to another and appx. 3" high. It would make beautiful decoration with a seashell collection, decor for an end table, near the pool or patio. _____________________________________ INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS EMAIL ME FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE When buying vintage clothes on line, one must own a tape measure & measure a similar garment to see if the new garment falls within the measurements that are given in the description. You cannot look at the measurements & think that those are your own measurements & that it will fit. All garments need to be a few inches larger than one’s own body measurements for a good fit. All items are pre-owned by someone unless otherwise stated as new old stock and may have some signs of wear which is understandable. I always note any major obvious imperfections although a small one may slip through without my noticing it and if I miss it, it must be very small. All items are wrapped with acid-free tissue. No item will ever be sent wrinkled beyond belief in an old plastic grocery bag inside of an old reused marked up envelope as has happened to me by some sellers. I think too much of my customers & my products to do that to anyone. I do not accept cancellations, exchanges or returns so make your selection carefully. All vintage items are just that vintage & not new straight from the mall– and may show some imperfections, wear and use because of the age. I try to list any imperfection but a small one could slip by unintentionally. All sales are final. Items are shipped parcel post, priority or first class depending on the weight, destination & what the item is at seller’s discretion. International orders cannot be returned or refunded to credit card or any other manner so chose your item carefully & check the measurements thoroughly. Shipping charges do not include insurance & I strongly recommend purchasing insurance for all items. Contact me before buying & I can add the insurance charge onto your invoice. The Buyer is responsible for any taxes or fees that your country's custom's dept. may levy on your purchases and we have no control over that as that is determined by the country in which you reside. The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully and check the measurements to make sure the garment will fit you as there is no return or exchanges on clothing or other items.

When my oldest daughter was a toddler, we went on a nature walk to hunt down some amazing fall leaves on Thanksgiving day. (Remember, Thanksgiving is in October here in Canada). We found tons of brightly coloured leaves, but I didn't know what to do with them. I ended up drawing little happy faces with names under them with a sharpie, and then we set them out on the Thanksgiving table as place cards. And even though they weren't fancy, they were so adorable! Grandpa's leaf had a smiley face with a beard. Grandma's leaf had glasses and curly hair.
