These life skills warm ups focus on job skills needed while working at TWENTY DIFFERENT KINDS OF JOB SITES. This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. With this lesson, students get to type their answers directly onto the digital worksheet. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer. Are You Interested In the PRINT AND GO Version of This Activity Instead? CLICK HERE Each worksheet is structured similarly to build independence and mastery for students with learning disabilities. These worksheets will let students practice a variety of specific skill sets needed to successfully work at different kinds of jobs in the community. ❤️ How I Use This In My Classroom ❤️ To practice a wide range of job skills, I provide my students with one worksheet a day. Each week focuses on a new job theme. We start the week by modeling the answers together as a class and engage in discussions about why we would need to know how to do those things at a job site. Once students are given instruction on how to complete the tasks, I slowly let them do more of the tasks independently. By the end of the week, students should be able to complete the work on their own. Separately, these units would cost $100. Buy them as a bundle and save 20%. Pay only $80 for them ALL!
