Artist creates unique compositions based on national folk ornaments and symbols from different regions of Ukraine. Decorating his pysanky he is using images of plants and animals. They symbolize happiness and prosperity,aspecially horses, deers, squirrels, birds and fish. All work is not wooden! These are real chicken eggs. Pysanky are made by hand, at high artistic level. This design was adapted from a diasporan pysanka from a UGS postcard. I’ve done a version once before, but in this one I’ve modified the wheat and some of the color choices.
