Maken jullie voor het eten wel eens een weekmenu? Verzinnen jullie van tevoren wat je heel de week zou willen eten? Ik altijd wel... en ineens deed ik het niet meer... daardoor moest ik vaak op het laatste moment verzinnen wat we gingen eten... niet handig... want dan is het al te laat en heb ik snel de neiging te gaan voor ongezond (lees; patat, pizza, pasta, enz....) omdat het zo makkelijk is en ik vooral lekkere trek heb... Toch geven we daar zelden aan toe, maar mij geeft het geen fijn gevoel. Ik weet van de tijd toen ik een weekplanning/menu maakte dat ik daar geen last van had, waarschijnlijk is het vanwege het principe wat hierboven op de foto staat... Plan wat je eet en eet ook alleen maar wat je hebt gepland... Ik krijg geregeld de vraag wat we eten en hoe ons weekmenu eruit ziet, ik zal de komende weken geregeld een weekmenu plaatsen om mensen een idee of tips te geven voor wat ze kunnen eten zo'n hele week En ondertussen ben ik weer druk bezig met weekmenu's maken. Vroeger maakte ik een weekmenu en kocht ik daar de ingrediënten bij. Nu we eens per maand boodschappen doen en eens per 2 weken groente halen, werkt het anders. So many of us are trying to move towards a healthier lifestyle, and of course the New Year is a great time to start. Via But really and truly, any time is a great time to start. Any movement is better than no movement. Each and every healthy choice is an improvement over an unhealthy choice. Via I really wanted to bring the leftover meatloaf for lunch today. But one of the things that works for me when I am on Weight Watchers is to keep my points super low throughout the day so I can enjoy a 'normal' dinner in the evening and a glass of wine. I'm also trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my meals as I feel I stepped away from that for a little while. Via So, despite the meatloaf craving I took the time this morning before work to prepare a spinach salad: baby spinach, scallions, tomatoes, sliced boiled egg, crumbled bacon, and Gorgonzola. Light on the bacon (1/2 slice, crumbled) and light on the Gorgonzola. A drizzle of olive oil, some mango balsamic, salt and pepper. It's not meatloaf but it's a mighty good salad. And in the end, my body will thank me for it.
