Hi Everyone, The theme for this hop is the New Annual Catalogue which is full of exciting new things to play with. I've chosen to use the Cheerful Daisies bundle and teamed it with Subtles dsp stack in Bubble Bath which is one of the new Core Colours and is very pretty and combined it with an old favourite, Melon Mambo. Materials 1 piece of Melon Mambo card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scraps for the flowers 2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps for the flowers and sentiment 1 piece of Subtles dsp in Bubble Bath 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" Cheerful Daisies stamp set Cheerful Daisies dies Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Basic Rhinestones Melon Mambo ink Bubble Bath ink Nature's Prints stamp set Trimmer Simply Scored Bone Folder Multipurpose Adhesive Dimensionals Instructions On the long side score the Melon Mambo at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base. Adhere one piece of the basic white to the card front and then add the dsp layer to that. Die cut the clump of three flowers in Basic White, then die cut the solid flowers and the intricate tops of those flowers in Melon Mambo to add some more depth and interest. You can cut all the layers in just one colour but I thought I would try two to see what it looked like and I have to say that I like it. Die cut two of the twiggy pieces. Snips the white flowers apart carefully to make three separate flowers, then add the white layer to the solid melon mambo pieces and then add the intricate melon mambo pieces over the top. They are really easy to line up so that they match. Add dimensionals to the back of the flowers and arrange them on the card front, make sure you leave enough space below them for your sentiment. Tuck in the twiggy bits around them, split them apart to make smaller bunches if you like. Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then die cut using the label sentiment from this die set and add to the card front using dimensionals. On the remaining piece of white, stamp a sentiment in the centre and add a flower to the bottom right corner. This is a two step stamp and I have used Bubble Bath as the solid layer and added Melon Mambo for the detail. Adhere to the inside of the card. Sprinkle some rhines stones on the card front and the card is complete. Please pop over and see what everyone else has chosen from the New Annual Catalogue. Hello again and welcome back to my blog today. Today is officially the first day of the school holidays and I am enjoying a more relaxed pace this morning. Today I am sharing a couple of makes that I
Hello! This gorgeous watercolored card I am sharing today uses the You've Got This stamp set and the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack for a wonderful combination. The Pretty Petals paper is retiring May 31st- so if you love this look, get the paper while you can! How To Make It: Stamp the flower on Watercolor Paper using White Craft Ink. Cover it with White Embossing Powder and emboss using the Heat Tool. With the Watermelon Wonder stamp pad closed, squeeze the lid on to the stamp pad inside. This allows you to pick up ink on the top of the inside case to create a palette. Then, use that ink to color the embossed flower using your Aqua Painter to pick up the ink from the top of the stamp pad case. Work slowly to get a wide variety of light and dark color within the small petal areas of the flower. Let that dry. Color the stem the same way using Mint Macaron ink ~ lightly. Then, add the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper to the card base. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the Watercolor Paper and adhere to the front of the card. Supplies Used: Stamps: You've Got This (#139572) Paper: Cucumber Crush (#138335), Watercolor Paper (#122959), Designer Series Paper - Pretty Petals Paper Stack (#138442) Ink: Whisper White Craft Ink (#101731), Watermelon Wonder (#138323), Mint Macaron (#138326) Other: Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430), Aqua Painter (#103954), Heat Tool (#129053), White Embossing Powder (#109132) I hope you will give this technique a try! If you do, I would love the see you share your projects on my Facebook page! May Hostess Code to use: PMJ23H6U

I was so happy to receive an order via My Online Store yesterday that I made a special card to thank my customer. Is it too obvious that I don't get very many online orders? Haha. I think I got too excited because I made more than I should have hoping I would get more online orders, so I can send more of this awesome card. For the month of August, all online orders will receive this thank you card. That's only if you leave your contact information when you check-out. If you order anonymously, I will have no way of sending it to you and I will also not be able to send you catalogs in the mail. I just love this photopolymer stamp set called Wild About Flowers. It's so versatile and simple. This is a two-step stamp set, but because it's photopolymer lining up the images are really easy. It contains some really good sentiments, but I used this thank you saying from Petite Pairs. Don't you just love Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Very Vanilla together? The color scheme is so soft and easy on the eyes. Less really is more. This layout can easily be used for any occasion, birthdays, sympathy or thinking of you card - just change the sentiment. This is why I think the Petite Pairs stamp set is a must-have addition to your collection. It's hard to see, but the brand new Fluttering Embossing Folder (139304) is so lovely. Petite Pairs (Wood 128706, Clear 122497) Wild About Flowers (138728) It also comes in French - Fleurs De L’Âge (140176) Well, that's all for now. It's our last weekend before school starts. Yikes! It will be challenging getting back to our new routine. It's been wonderful not to rush every morning. Oh well. Happy Sunday, everyone and thank you for stopping by. Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Pretty Petals Inchie Card It's official. Yes, the love for the new Pretty Petals DSP has blown up into a full blown
Hi Crafty Friends!! I am very excited to share volume 1 of my DSP tutorials. I love Stampin' UP DSP (that's Designer Series Paper, it's our artist created printed paper). It's a great weight, and perfect for all kinds of projects. Volume 1 covers the basics for using DSP in card making. I'll share pictures and info first and then there is a tutorial video, you can watch it here or on YouTube. I love using DSP to make quick and cute cards. Often you can do just a little stamping, like for the sentiment, and add a few extra bits of paper and voila, you have some great cards. For these cards, I used the Pressed Petals Speciality DSP, #149500. Pressed Petals DSP Card1, in two different ways. Both use the Daisy Lane and Painted Glass stamp sets. Measurements in inches and info for both cards: Sympathy card: Mossy Meadow, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base, fold in half) DSP, 4 x 5 1/4, Whisper White (card for stamping) 2 1/2 x 4, Mossy Meadow, 2 5/8 x 4 1/8 Birthday card: Pear Pizzaz, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base, fold in half) Crumb Cake, 4 x 5 1/4, DSP 3 3/4 x 5, Very Vanilla (card for stamping) 2 1/2 x 4, Pear Pizzaz, 2 5/8 x 4 1/8 Card 2 in two different ways. Both use the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the 1 1/2 inch Punch and Pretty Label Punch. Measurements in inches for both cards: Birthday card: Night of Navy, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base, fold in half) Whisper White, 4 x 5 1/4, DSP, 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, cut at 2 inches Thank you card: Soft Suede, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base, fold in half) Whisper White, 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, DSP, 4 x 5 1/4, cut at 2 inches Card 3. Sentiment from the Seaside Notions stamp set. I used the Stitched Shapes dies and the Layered Ovals dies. The oval is sponged with Crumb Cake. The flower is from the Petals washi tape. Measurements: Crumb Cake, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (card base, fold in half) DSP, 4 x 5 1/4, Crumb Cake, 3 x 4 1/4, DSP, 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 Want video instruction? Here you go! This class was a Facebook Live. There is a bit of a glitch at about minute 25, so don't mind my bit of flusterness (that's not really a word, but I'm using it anyway) there. This is the first in a series, I'm thinking there will be at least two more installments. I love crafting with DSP and there are so many fun ways to use it! Want to get your paper and other supplies at a discount? Join my team! Stampin' Up has an extra deal going on now until August 31. Hi everyone! Hope you're having a good week so far! Today, I've got a card using the Stamp Ink Paper challenge colors: and the Try Stampin on Tuesday sketch: A friend of mine recently had to put her little pup down, and I made this to say how sorry I was: I used DSP from Pretty Petals in Cameo Coral and a retired DSP from a couple years ago, and I think it is actually Soft Sky, but hopefully it's close enough to get by! The image is from Papertrey's Tiny Treats Valentine set from a few years back; sentiment is from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes; the gingham is SU's retired Gingham wheel, and the alphabet is SU's retired A to Z. The circles were all diecut with Lil'Inker stitched circle dies: I embossed the Chocolate Chip panel with the Arrows EF and added a heart and some brown pearls as a final finish! Cassidy took her Baby Alive dolls for a little walk: Unfortunately, they look like they saw a ghost! Maybe they're just surprised to see the sunshine! She loves them anyway! Enjoy your day!
