Learning to dress my second trimester body has been no short of a steep learning curve. What once looked good doesn’t quite fit the bill anymore. And then there’s the obvious fact that your body will continue to grow and expand and so what fits now may certainly not in a couple weeks. I’ve tried some of the maternity specific clothing out there and it’s just not it. They seem to be made mostly for the third trimester (aka too roomy for now and you won’t be able to wear them after and beyond), they’re more expensive and they can be a bit matronly looking. I’ve scoured the internet looking for non-maternity maternity clothing and I’m happy to report that I’ve found some good pieces that I can’t help but share (bonus: these are great for non-pregnant bodies too!)
