1962 Chrysler SV1 Valiant sedan (S series). Taken in Echuca Victoria. The S Series was basically a US 1962 Plymouth Valiant assembled in Adelaide from kits by Chrysler Australia. They had several features that were unique to Australian models, in order to make them more suited to our conditions, as well as to meet minimum local content regulations. Chrysler Australia built 10,009 S series Valiants. This car was on display as part of the 4th National Rally of R & S Series Valiant Car Clubs of Australia which was based in Bendigo.
