"Find the one!" is a very funny game of observation and speed. How fast are your students spotting the matching symbols? With this “spot-it” like engaging games, they will play with 124 words containing specific sounds (/a/, /ai/, /ei/ and /i/) How to Play There are 31 different playing cards and always only one matching symbol between 2 cards. Shuffle and deal all the cards face-down and put the last one in the middle face-up. When one player spots a matching symbol, he calls it (perfect to work on pronunciation!) and puts his card on top of the pile. The winner is the first player who has no card left in his draw pile. What’s in the bundle In each of the 4 printable pdf files, you will find: detailed instructions 4 vocabulary recap charts (color, black and white, with or without text) 31 flashcards (one for each symbol) to revise vocabulary before playing 31 playing cards with 6 symbols on each (32 with the cover card) These games will be perfect for theme-based units to revise or learn vocabulary and practice pronunciation. All you have to do is print / laminate and cut the playing cards. Have fun with these games about the sounds /a/, /ai/, /ei/ and /i/. Students LOVE this activity!!! Would you like to decorate your classroom with fun, hand-drawn anchor charts/posters? Do you simply not have the time to get them done? Well, you have come to the perfect place! I love making these engaging and appealing anchor charts. I also can draw/create any other topic you would like, just contact me directly and ask! My students absolutely love these posters and references them every day. Many of them are visual learners, so the colorful images really help them connect and remember what they have learned. This particular anchor chart is for readers/writers practicing the "bonus letter" or "floss rule". My students absolutely loved using the floss rule to help them build words and read these in passages. They loved using the anchor chart as a visual reference and had fun with the pictures/colors. **These will be copies unless asked otherwise for a custom poster. They are not laminated, and are printed on normal, anchor chart paper. I ship these out ASAP after being ordered, but please keep in mind once shipped, it is outside of my control. Therefore, if shipping does not meet your expectations, I highly encourage you to please reach out to me first, and we have always been able to work something out to make up for anything that may have occurred after I have sent your package, thanks so much!! Hope you love it :)

Hello Everyone! What a fun day in first grade today! Yesterday I introduced Sneaky E to the kids. We had a ball brainstorming Sneaky E words and making the paper bag puppet. We also learned the Sneaky E song. Today we put what we learned into ACTION! Literally! We made little mini movies about The Adventures of Sneaky E. We divided into 5 groups and each group chose a Sneaky E word. A Sneaky E was chosen for each group, and then they were off to practice what they saw in their mind movies as to how Sneaky E would actually go about making the first vowel say it's name. They were so cute as they practiced! Then it was time to try to film! Okay. UGH! I've been trying to upload our videos for the past hour and something is just not clicking!! I am soooo sorry! I will try again tomorrow, because they are just too cute!! If someone out there knows how to help, I would appreciate it!! I'm thinking the files might be too big. Till then, have a great night! Don't let Sneaky E sneak up on you!! Joyfully! Nancy
