The Painted Seasons bundle is fast becoming my favorite Sale-A-Bration item this year. The stamps and coordinating designer series paper work together nicely to make beautiful cards. All you need to add is the sentiment of your choice. The designer series paper has a nature print on one side and a fun geometric pattern on the other. With these cards I used the Stitched Rectangle framelits to add a little interest. I cut my base cardstock to 4-1/4" x 11" and folded it in half. My designer series paper layer is cut to 4" x 5-1/4". I used the second largest of the rectangle dies and centered it onto the piece of designer series paper and then ran it through the big shot. I then took the inside cut out and flipped it over to reveal the opposite side of the paper and attached them to another layer of cardstock cut to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" with tear tape placed along the inside cut edge. Then I just wrapped a piece of the poppy parade ribbon around the piece, layered it on the card base with some dimensionals, added a sentiment and some of the images from the stamp set that have been cut out with the Four Seasons framelits. These framelits will be available to purchase on March 1st. Here are a few of the cards I made using the same technique but with the different papers. This mushroom paper is my absolute favorite!! All of the supplies I used are listed below with direct links to my online store. There are a handful of new items available as free Sale-a-bration choices. Today, I am showing off the beautiful Painted Seasons designer series paper and coordinating stamp set. These are available as a bundle that is free with a $100 purchase. I used the same layout for each of my seasonal cards. The background mats are embossed with the Striped Scallops embossing folder, and the designer paper pieces measure 3" x 4" and 1 1/4" x 3". On the Petal Pink version, I tucked in a greeting from "All Adorned", another of the new Sale-a-bration choices. The flower was stamped first in Petal Pink. I added Poppy Parade to the stamp with a dauber and stamped over the Petal Pink flower. Finally, I added Early Espresso to the stamp and stamped again. It is easy to add … Continue reading →

Hi! How are you today? Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello! Today I'm playing along with the Aussie's Who Love Stampin Up Facebook Group Autumn Challenge #awlsu026 & so I have chosen to pair the Beautiful Day Stamp Set with the Painted Seasons DSP & Night of Navy for a cool autumn colour combo. I just love this big butterfly & it's so pretty coloured but it's also very cool left plain, don't you think? I love that pop of white on the patterned paper. But they also look great on coloured cardstock. This card is seriously easy to make. Night of Navy cardstock base with a Whisper White liner on the inside & a piece of Painted Seasons DSP on the front. Then stamp the butterfly & sentiments in Night of Navy ink, fussy cut the butterfly & cut a banner on the end of the sentiment. I've adhered the banner with Tombow liquid glue & the butterfly on Dimensionals. Done. I actually made a stack of these cos they were so pretty & so simple! And I always need birthday cards! PS - please send me a note when it's your birthday so I can send you a card! I hope you have enjoyed my projects today & that they have inspired you to get crafty! Every other week, I get to create a card using a specific colour combo that is part of a Thursday challenge at Create with Connie & Mary. It is always fun to play along and I hope that you will do the same and use these colour ideas in your own card making. This week was a tiny bit different. We were given 2 neutral colours that we needed to combine with one of the 2021-2023 In Colors. I really do love all 5 of the In Colors, but decided on Soft Succulent to add to Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.
