When I moved to the Midwest in 1966, I discovered many ethnic foods that I had never heard of before. These are pictures of the Seward, NE downtown area (pop 7,000) taken in April 2003 from the Courthouse dome. I took similar pictures from the same location in 1952 at the time our SCS office was located in the Court House and have taken them a couple other times over the years. The Cattle Bank building in the bottom picture is about the only new building on the "city square" during those nearly 60 years.
