In this package you will find information cards about Métis culture including : Qui sont les métis, La charrette de la rivière Rouge, La danse métisse, La nourriture métisse, L’art métis, La ceinture fléchée, Le drapeau métis, and Le michif. Activities include a vocabulary page, comprehension questions, 2 pages of vrai faux questions, puzzle and drawing pages related to Métis culture. The information pages can be printed, or displayed digitally. My hope is that you will be able to use these activities to introduce your students to the Métis culture. Aligns well with the culture component of the Ontario Core French Curriculum. This is such an important part of French culture in Canada.
