A lovely, crumb cookie, infused with tea, perfect for both the angsty, moody teenage ponytail person, the calm father figure, the beautiful big blah or just one kid. Enjoy! Recipe under the cut. 100 g butter or margarine 3 dl (1,3 cups) sugar 1 tesp vanilla sugar (optional. Can also be swapped for some orange zest for example) 2 tbsp tea leaves (since this is a uncle Iroh recipe, I suppose they should be made with ginseng or jasmine tea leaves, but I used a russian black tea. Just personal preference.) 1 dl (0,4 cups) sunflower- och rapeseed oil 1 tsk baking soda 4 dl (1,7 cups) flour Preheat an oven to 150 ºC (300 ºF) (I have a forced air oven) In a pestle or blender, crush the tea whith the sugar and vanilla. Add the margarine and oil and mix. Add the flour and baking soda, knead to a crumbly dough. Shape the dough to small balls (when making cookies, I usually use one of those tools for making balls out of lemons, but I have no idea what that’s called in english, sorry) or a teaspoon. The cookies flaten out in the oven, so don’t place them too close to each other on the baking tray dressed with baking paper. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Simply delicious!
This dessert features a creamy and rich panna cotta scented with candy cap mushrooms, which taste strongly of maple syrup. You can also omit the mushrooms and use a maple extract or any other flavor you prefer. Infusing the cream with vanilla bean or even chai is an excellent variation. The smoothness of the panna cotta is contrasted with a crisp vanilla meringue mushroom decorated with chocolate as well as warmly scented cookie crumbles and orange flavored tuile cookies. There are a few components here but all of them can be made ahead of time for fast and easy serving.
A very quick and easy recipe using prawns of whichever size you prefer and then cooking it in a bowl or a tiffin box inside a pressure cooker. Other than prawns, one can use a variety of vegetables to be cooked this way too.
One of the most fragrant and beautiful of all the plants surrounding our house is wisteria. We have a trellis outside our sunroom that’s been taken over by wisteria and trumpet vines over the years, and this time of year, the gorgeous purple blossoms hang down from overhead, their clean, sweet scent wafting through the house.

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD START A FOOD BLOG IN 2014, 2017 OR WORST STILL 2018? It's that very question we all ask ourselves when we sign our names on the dotted line and commit to squarespace for a 12 month period. Why do we ask ourselves this question? Because the odds are stacked against us

Tender and juicy Cornish hens with a shatteringly crisp skin marry quite well with a rich, velvety, and bright sauce featuring the sweet and fruity Hungarian wine, Tokaji Aszú. Caramelized apples reinforce the fruit notes while a bit of uncooked apple adds freshness and textural contrast. Sautéed cabbage parcels stuffed with sautéed shallots and cabbage with thyme make for a vegetal and herbal side. Finally, poppyseed and Gruyere gougères lend a nutty flavor and textural contrast. This dish has a few components but many can be made ahead but it is definitely a special occasion dish.
Autumn is in full swing and we love it! The trees are changing their colors to red, yellow and brown, you can already see your own breath in the mornings and evenings and the woods and meadows in the countryside are enveloped with fog sometimes.
