Only 16 girls have ever played in the Little League World Series. Thirteen-year-old Mo'Ne Davis, who plays for the Taney Dragons of Philly, isn't just aiming to join that club—she's gunning to be the most memorable female player the tournament has ever seen. Davis is a pitcher (one whose speeds reach upwards of 70 mph, BTW), and I couldn't look away as yesterday she struck out six little boys and led her team to an 8-0 win. Thanks to her commanding complete-game performance, the Dragons are now Mid-Atlantic regional champions—and headed to the final rounds of the tourney.
