Wat als robots onze beroepen overnemen?
Fake news, gehackte verkiezingen en regelrechte leugens van wereldleiders maken dat het vertrouwen in politici, media en bedrijven een dieptepunt heeft bereikt. Harde feiten hebben concurrentie gekregen van 'alternative facts' en Twitterbots en buitenlandse hackers blijken verkiezingen te hebben gemanipuleerd. De vraag is of vertrouwensverlies inherent is aan ons huidige bestaan in de 'infosphere'. Als wij toestaan dat we een verzameling data worden, dan zijn we daarmee uiteraard manipuleerbaar. En als direct gerichte reclame op sociale media op het onderbewustzijn kan inspelen, dan kan dat met politieke beïnvloeding tijdens verkiezingen ook. Hoe zou u de democratie verbeteren? In aanloop naar de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen stelde de Volkskrant die vraag aan een groot aantal wetenschappers uit verschillende vakgebieden. Dit zijn hun ideeën om de democratie een duwtje in de juiste richting te geven.
Je hopt van project naar project, bent constant bezig met je positie in de arbeidsmarkt en dient druk en bezet over te komen. Het leven in de prestatiemaatschappij valt niet mee.
