This is the perfect activity to help kindergarten students learn basic addition. Children grab two handfuls of counters and add them up! Children have concrete examples of addition and then begin to record their answers when they are comfortable. Included is a Grab Mat to use in small groups (math centres or intervention groups) as well as two worksheets. I can guarantee you, your children will not only love this activity, they will also learn while they are at it! All children will need are counters and a pencil to fill in their answers on the worksheet. Are you teaching Early Learners?
