Marvelling Magnolias is a picture of a marvellous Magnolia tree I saw at Blicklingham Hall in Norfolk. The paper thin, but hardy petal with veins cobwebbing in every direction, show of a living, moving, delicate and somewhat etherial example of how incredible nature is. This print has taken in the region of 60 hours to complete. As the detail is very fine, it’s been printed on a Japanese Calligraphy paper which is very thin. I’ve used Caligo safe wash relief ink, and an essdee soft compound roller. The size of the paper is 15 x 10 inches, the size of the print is 12 x 8 inches. I hope you like this lovely print, made with love and could not be made without our beautiful flowers.
Hey everyone, I am back with another Tilda card!!!!! I miss coloring my Tilda's and I couldn't wait to use this gorgeous new stamp Scented Rose Tilda!! She is adorable and one of my favorite's from the new collection. She is sitting on a swing chair stamp too! I used some beautiful roses I found at my thrift store and of course some beautiful Iamroses flowers too. I wanted this card to be Vintage/Shabby Chic. The sentiment on the inside is one of my favorite stamps and quotes "Enjoy the moments that makes you happy." Hello Magnolia Friends I have a CAS card for you today. This is Bee Tilda from the Spring Fever Collection. I colored her with Copic Sketch markers and I kept the card clean and simple. The sentiment is from an older Magnolia Collection with I still love to use. The designer patterned paper is one of my favorites and is also from Magnolia. I'm here! I have a Shabby Chic creation with sweet Leo Tilda.. I've decided to use some Pion Design papers this time.. These are all from the Flower Frames Collection.. The Roseus sheet is the one with the most beautiful pattern if you ask me.. The tag was made with a Magnolia Doohickey die called Tilda Tag.. The gorgeous ornate corner is a resin piece from the Prima Shabby Chic Treasures.. And of course I just had to use some Shabby Seam Binding too.. These are just some of the flowers on this card.. Take a look at this beautiful heart shaped doily.. Isn't it fantastic? There's a lot of Crackle Paint and Gesso all over the place.. And of course there are tons of pearls too.. The key charm is from my stash.. I've also used the new Magnolia Doohickey Bride Bow.. The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Opulent Oval.. The doily on this pic is from my stash.. All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn.. Here are some more gorgeous flowers that I've used.. They are all WOC flowers except for the pink Poppy, the wonderful Kort & Godt Chrysantemum and the rolled rose I made myself.. There are also some Flower Sprays and Frosted Berries here.. The ''Samsara'' Lace is one of my all time favourites.. Leo Tilda is a stamp from the Magnolia Zodiac Collection 2014.. She's stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks.. I use both the ink pads and reinkers.. The shadow around the image is made with Distress Inks too.. I've added some Chunky White Frantage on top of it.. This card is already for sale in my Etsy shop HERE.. That's it for today.. I really hope you enjoyed.. Hello... I've got a CAS card to share with you all today !! I used this gorgeous new Tilda called - Mail Tilda.... Isn't she so sweet!! The designer paper is by Maja Designs... The stitched frame is made using Lawn fawn stitched rectangle frames, I am loving these, they are so cool!! Tilda is all coloured using Distress inks!! This is what the inside looks like... I added some more Maja designs paper, a stitched rectangle frame for the writing panel and a "XOXOXOXO" die I got from my friend Jenny!! Hugz Ashlee
