This charming new and unused vintage print with text by Jill Barklem is from a special 1991 print issue. Printed on thick paper, it is blank on the reverse and measures 20.5cm x 25.5cm (8in x 10in). It will add charm to your home décor or child’s room and makes a unique gift for friends and loved ones. Jill Barklem (1951-2017) was a British writer and illustrator of children's books. Her most famous work is the Brambly Hedge series, published from 1980. She was drawn to the natural world ever since childhood. While training as an illustrator at St Martin’s School of Art, her long journeys to college gave her time to escape into the imaginary world of a colony of mice, later to be developed as the enchanting miniature world of Brambly Hedge.
