Big bold orange beads bring the Fiesta to life! About 4ft long, with big Chinese crown knots at the top, followed by 6 alternating "arms" flowing down with a small wind chime sewn into it & happy little green bows around the bottom beads & a quite long curly tail. I have about 150 of these orange beads, so I expect many more Fiestas to come. I think a big fluffy fern or spider plant would really complete this one & it would hang nicely just about anywhere.

The problem being that they are incredibly labor-intensive and time consuming, so I was only able to show this process to a limited few. I have been wanting to put this material into a book for some time now and that is why I produced the first two macramé books, "How to Make a Macramé Lamp" Part 1 and Part 2. The first book deals with the top, wire frame for the lamp and the second book shows how to produce the unique "cutwork" pattern for the body of the lamp. This third book covers the "shell" design pattern. I developed this "shell" macramé pattern approximately 36 years ago. This pattern really comes to life when the lamp has a light. Over the years I have had many people ask me how it is done but have rarely had time to show them how. Hence this book. IMPORTANT NOTES: it is expected that you already know how to macramé before starting this project.
