That same Saturday evening Luke arrives home about an hour after he had promised Laura he would be home. When he makes his way to the porch he notices that the lights are still all on downstairs. Laura must be up and awake waiting for him, waiting to lay into him about not keeping his promises. He was hoping she would have gone to bed already, he is not ready to face her at this very moment. Luke takes the small step up onto the porch and gets his keys ready to unlock the door. As he is stepping into the house his eyes immediately find Laura cuddled up asleep on the couch. His heart sinking like a rock. He stares at her lying there sleeping, feeling bad for ever thinking he did not want to see her sweet face right now. Laura must be exhausted from her busy Saturday with the boys, because she did not wake the second he swung the front door open. The crisp night air blows the curtains ever so gently shifting Luke's attention to the living room windows. Laura likes to open them during the fall and spring seasons... This time Luke's heart rockets up into throat his pulse ratcheting up with it at the sight of the exposed and open windows. Usually he would not be so paranoid but after what happened to him at the shop with those two goons, Luke is seriously on edge. He takes several large strides to cross the room and begins to shut the windows. The sudden wave of noises startle Laura and she pushes her head up off the couch... *Laura* "Luke?.. wha..what's going on?....what time is it? *Luke* "It's a little past midnight..." Luke tries to keep his hands steady on the window pane as he pushes it down. Adrenaline shooting through him, like it did earlier tonight. For all he knows someone could have snuck in the house while Laura and the boys were asleep... *Luke* "This isn't safe leaving this window open while I'm gone and you and the boys are asleep in the house..." *Laura* "Well maybe if you would be home on time it wouldn't be an issue!...." Laura pushes herself up more as Luke turns to look at her. *Luke* "It's only a fucking hour, Laura...One hour!..." *Laura* "That's not the point Luke, if you don't make something a habit then you never will." Luke slams and locks the first window then turns to face Laura. *Luke* "And what about your fucking bad habits?! Leaving the fucking windows open in the middle of the night. Anyone could easily come in..." Luke then side steps over to the next window gripping it tight, trying to steady his shaky nerves as he closes the window. *Laura* "You know I leave windows open all the time right now, it's nice outside..." Laura begins to get more flustered with his agitated state. Luke never demands things like this and how she should run the household... *Luke* "Not anymore...Just keep the fucking windows shut and locked while I'm not at home." Laura pops up off the couch while Luke grabs the curtains and closes them over the widows so no one can see inside. *Laura* "What the hell is wrong with you?! First you come home late again as usual, now you're acting paranoid, demanding I follow your ridiculous orders like the boys and I are prisoners..." Luke turns to face Laura hands splayed out, his stance rigid. He is on the defense and Laura does not understand why he looks like he wants to punch a wall. *Luke* "Being given the third degree feels like shit doesn't it?! I'm fucking sick and tired of explaining everything to you, Laura. And I have a fucking right to be worried about your safety and the boys when I'm working my ass off for this entire fucking family!!!!" Laura bends down to grab her sneakers. She can feel tears coming on but she reigns them in before looking up at Luke. Whatever is going on with him Laura has no idea why and at this point she doesn't even care anymore. She is tired of being at odds with him, it has been this way for months now. *Laura* "You know what?! I'm done with this conversation... Come home whenever the hell you want I don't care anymore..." Laura then walks off and heads towards the base of the staircase. Whatever is eating at him she is definitely not gonna find out tonight. He is impossible to talk to when he is fuming mad about something. *Luke* "So that's it huh?...Just like that you change your fucking mind? After months of putting me through this shit!..." Laura stops and turns to look at him. Luke is a beast when he is this angry. His tattooed arms flexed and tense as he speaks. Something is off about him and Laura doesn't know why but can only speculate. She knows something happened, her gut feeling tells her that much. Yelling at him about it right now will only make things worse between them. *Laura* "You're such an asshole!...You are not behaving like the man I married." Luke instantly snaps back before even realizing what he is saying to her. His body is still pumped with adrenaline and anger after the confrontation in the record shop. *Luke* "I've always been an asshole, since the first fucking day you met, baby!..." Disappointment spreads across Laura's face. She does not say a single word back to him, but instead begins to head upstairs. Luke crosses the living room knowing he pushed it too far. It takes a whole lot for Laura to curse back at him. Luke calls her to stop his tone back to cool, calm, casual Luke... *Luke* "Laura wait..." She stops and turns, maybe he will finally tell her what is eating him up instead of taking out this rage on her... *Laura* "What?..." Luke moves up to stand on the very first tread of the staircase. Laura's eyes are watery and Luke is almost sure it is because of him and not due tiredness.. *Luke* "You're right...I'm an asshole. I'm sorry, babe.... Just know that I love you." Laura moves down one step to get closer. She is not ready to fully forgive this tantrum of his but she also does not want to go to bed completely angry and in tears. She runs her hand along his chin and jawline. The muscles are tense. His overall body language looks tense. *Laura* "I love you too...But you have to stop shutting me out. Ever since things went bad with Peter. All you do is shut me out, Luke..." *Luke* "I'm sorry...It's not on purpose, babe." *Laura* "You need to talk to someone. If not me then a therapist or maybe we should do couples therapy again..." Luke lets out a huff. He would hate to have to talk to some stranger about his embarrassing fucked up past that is now coming back to try and ruin the life he has made here with Laura. He did it once before when Laura insisted on it. He does not need someone to psychoanalyze him and tell him what to do with his fucking feelings about Peter. *Luke* "You know I hate that shit..." *Laura* "I know but this won't get any easier unless you talk to me!..." Luke reaches up grasping her elbow and tries to pull her in closer. *Luke* "I do talk to you!...We're talking right now." Luke pleads and Laura shakes her head. This is not enough for her and he cannot sweet talk his way back to her good graces. Her hand slides down to his chest keeping him from coming closer. *Laura* "No....You know what I mean...Tell me what's going on." Luke pauses staying silent for a beat. His hand drops from her arm feeling defeated. He wants to tell her but at the same time he wants to protect her! What kind of man is he if he cannot protect his family? *Luke* "I don't know what else you want me to say?!..." Again Luke puts up that wall and Laura gives up. She is tired and tomorrow is another busy day for her. She takes a step up, turning her body halfway to meet his face one last time. She is not about to give up on where she stands in this and let him wiggle his way out of it. *Laura* "If you don't let me in then I can't help you..." Laura stands there and waits to see if Luke will finally spit it out whatever it may be. She assumes it has something to do Rufus because nothing else flares up his anger like his ex girlfriend does. *Luke* "I don't need help...I..I...Just want my wife back." *Laura* "I could say the same thing about you." Then Laura turns and heads up the stairs to bed. Luke does not follow her this time. Instead he watches her disappear up the stairway. Then she turns and makes her way to their bedroom. The door softly clicking shut. Before heading off to shower and go to bed. Luke checks the house over to make sure no strangers are hiding, checking on the boys as well before heading off to bed. Luke may have made things a whole lot worse by not opening up to the truth right now, but he could not bring himself to do it. Not tonight. He really wants to preserve Laura's innocence in all this. He peeks his head in the downstairs half bath first before heading up to the second story of the house. It's embarrassing to constantly have to deal with his fucked up family and past. He knows Laura will want to do everything she can to help being the sweet loving person that she is. Problem is that means she might get others involved, like her lawyer sister, even worse her parents. Luke makes his way upstairs now to check on the boys. Laura's mom has struggled over the years to justify reasons as to why Laura chose Luke. Something like this could make her feel that maybe her daughter and her grandsons are not safe as long as Luke is in their lives. He has always been a confident person but he loves Laura and his sons more than anything, fighting for that approval from his mother in law has been a real downer on his confidence. Usually he does not care but in this matter he does. Luke heads up to the third level of their inner city home. His thoughts continue to ramble as he walks outside to check the rooftop patio. Leaving no stone unturned as he checks the house. Luke just hopes he can resolve this and get the help he needs to do so. Before he left the shop tonight he sent a few emails and text messages to various people. Now he plays the waiting game for if and when they get back to him. On Monday he plans to go to the bank and see what they can do him. Most likely he is gonna have to get help from the one person he does not want back in his life... Luke does his best to try and turn his mind off. He needs to get some sleep if he plans on having a productive day tomorrow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Checking back in on Baz and Eva. It is still that same Saturday night but only several hours later. The same night that Baz gave in and took Eva out for a night of fun since they have been in town. Upon learning of Baz's omission of truth about how he has paid for their honeymoon. Eva flies up off the bed her mind trying to make sense of what he just said. Baz quickly pops up reaching for Eva before she can walk away. *Baz* "I had no choice, baby doll. It was the only way to get away from her and the casino!" Eva yanks her arm out of his grasp and folds them in defiance across her chest. *Eva* "There is always a choice, Baz! Telling me the truth is a start!..." *Baz* "I know I should have told you but I just wanted to get out of there. The longer we stayed the harder it would have been to get away." Baz continues to plead his case with Eva. He knows if he would have told her that she would have wanted to face his mother. Stand up against her and prove her wrong. His mother is never wrong at least in her eyes. Eva would have never stood a chance against her. *Baz* "Baby doll I know you're angry and I get it, but you do not know my mother like I do. I don't ever want to lose you. She would kill you right in front of me just to prove the point that she is in charge. And now she'll probably kill us both." Eva turns away and shudders at the thought of Baz's brutal comment. Baz has continued to try to tell her that his mother really is a ruthless crime boss but it's been hard to take it all in. The few times she has ever seen her she looked so nice and approachable. *Baz* "Eva talk to me, please...." Eva composes herself then whips her head around to look up at Baz. His face is serious yet sad as well. *Eva* "You're a fool! For not only lying to me but to your mother! Secrets always have a way of coming out, Baz! You know I hate deception. I was told my whole life that a family was coming to adopt me and they never came...You know I hate these kind of empty promises. Don't give me false hope, tell me like it is or there is no more us...." *Baz* "Eva....I'm sorry....I..." Eva shoves him once unfolding one of her arms attempting to put more distance between them. *Eva* "Sorry isn't enough!..." *Baz* "I know...but you have to understand....I..." Eva hates hearing the words "I'm sorry..." She has heard them all her life as empty gestures from strangers and social workers. Now her husband of just a few months tries to buy her with those same words. She shoves at him again this time with both arms. *Eva* "Stop it!..." Baz stumbles back a bit and Eva goes in again to push him back. Cursing him for not being honest from the beginning. Her anger bubbling over and causing her to lose all sense. *Eva* "Damn you Sebastian DeRozen!...You know this is not how I wanted things to be between us!" Eva moans with frustration as Baz stumbles back a little but then catches himself. He turns away from her. His mind running as his feet pace the space between Eva and door. *Baz* "I know saying I'm sorry doesn't fucking cut it but I don't know what else to say right now...." He turns to face her again. Trying to get her to see his side of things. *Baz* "I didn't tell you because I knew you'd want to storm your way into my mother's office and give her a piece of your mind...Eva I'm telling you it's pretty much suicide if you do that!" Eva is still standing there stubborn as an ox. While she admires Baz's need to protect her, she also hates that he chose to not tell her about his plans. It explains so much as to why he was so paranoid of his mother tracking him down. Taking money from the casino instead of his trust fund was very risky business... *Eva* "Try starting with the truth. We go in this together, Baz or there is no 'we' in this. We clear?..Besides how do you know how she'll react! You've never given me chance to prove to her that I can make you happy." Baz spits back just as angry. *Baz* "You want to leave me then fine! Go! There's the fucking door. No one is holding you hostage...You want to take the risk that my mother might find you, that's on you!" *Eva* "You're an asshole!..." Then she turns and walks towards the bathroom... *Eva* "I ain't scared of shit, Sebastian! I'd rather take that risk then be treated like a fucking child." *Baz* "Eva, wait...." As their heated argument went from bad to worse so has Baz's temperature. He strips off his vintage button down shirt tossing it on the bed as he follows Eva to the Bathroom. He stops in the doorway and sees she is beginning to pack some of her luggage. *Baz* "Come on, baby doll you know I didn't mean that..." *Eva* "I dunno Baz, you sure seem like you did." *Baz* "Besides being completely honest with you...Just tell me what I can do to make this better." Eva closes the lid on her makeup travel case, hand on hip as she cocks her head to look up at Baz, making sure to spell it out nice and slow for him. *Eva* "If we are ever gonna convince your mother then we have to work together, be strong together. If she thinks that I'll betray you or the family business in anyway then how can I ever gain her trust?! Then you go and steal money from the casino, Baz! For all we know, she probably assumes I put the gawd awful stupid idea in your head! So yeah you have a lot of work cut out for you to try and 'make this better'." Baz steps in closer and puts his hands on her shoulders. Eva is right. He has made some bad decisions and if only he would have told her from the beginning they might not be on the run right now. Instead maybe actually fully enjoying their honeymoon. *Baz* "You're right, baby doll. I never stopped to think she would assume that." *Eva* "Of course I'm right...this is why you tell me and not keep it from me. So we can figure all this out together." Baz nods in agreement. He was definitely foolish to think that he could hide the truth of the matter from her. Baz makes a mental note to remember that a little too much alcohol causes him to speak his mind a bit too easily. *Baz* "I have an idea if you want to stick around and hear it." *Eva* "Okay, what is it?..." *Baz* "How about we stay here a little longer. Like you wanted." *Eva* "Are you sure it's safe?" *Baz* "We take a risk either way...she'll find us eventually. If she hasn't already." *Eva* "So what happens when she finds us?..." *Baz* "Best case scenario, most likely she'll drag us back to Vegas and demand answers, before she makes a final decision. Maybe she'll actually climb down out of her evil tower and come here herself...Either way we'll be prepared to face her." Baz steps in closer... *Baz* "I won't let her hurt you, Eva...She will have to learn to live in my world too." *Eva* "I would never expect less from you...Are you serious about staying here?" *Baz* "Possibly, or at least for a little while. Maybe find a temporary job...What do you think?" *Eva* "I think it sounds wonderful..." *Baz* "So we good now, baby doll?..." *Eva* "One more thing..." *Baz* "I'm all ears..." *Eva* "Can we go out again tomorrow... Maybe check out a few stores." *Baz* "Sure thing baby doll. I think it's time we stopped hiding and start living our life together..." Eva jumps up into Baz's arms wrapping hers around his neck tightly. The two locking lips instantly. These two are definitely crazy in love. Luke and Laura finish getting ready, they quickly shower, get dressed and make sure they have everything they need. Laura calls her parents to tell them they are headed to the hospital, then they walk out the door.... *Luke* "Are we forgetting anything?" *Laura* "No, I think we got it..." *Laura* "You gonna call your, Mom?" *Luke* "When we get in the car....I'll call her on the way..." Once they are in the car and driving, Luke gets out his phone to call his Mom. The phone rings several times before Cynthia picks up, nearly clicking over to her voice mail. Cynthia reaches over to grab her cell phone and sees that it is Luke who is calling. *Cynthia* "It's Luke....don't talk..." She picks up her phone and answers. *Cynthia* "Hi Sweetie!....." *Luke* "Hey, Mom...We're headed to the hospital. Laura has gone into labor." *Cynthia* "Really?! Your certain she's in labor?" *Luke* "Well....she's been having strong ones about every ten minutes for a while now. So we're heading to the hospital..." Cynthia swats the hand that has been tickling her away. *Cynthia* "Okay....I'll be on my way... *Luke* "Okay...see you in a little while..." *Cynthia* "Okay, bye..." They both hang up, Luke continues to drive, while Cynthia sets her phone back down and turns to face the man in her bed. *Peter* "The baby is on the way?" *Cynthia* "Yes, which means I need to get ready..." *Peter* "You want me to come with you?" *Cynthia* "No! Are you crazy!...Luke doesn't need to find out about us hooking up..." *Peter* "Well, he's gonna find out eventually, right? It's not like it's the first time." *Cynthia* "We'll see....but now is not a good time for that." Cynthia gets showered and changed. She comes back out and Peter is still lounging in her bed. *Peter* "You sure you don't want me to drive you?" *Cynthia* "I'll be fine, Peter....just make sure you lock up when you leave." While Cynthia is on her way. Laura and Luke have made it to the hospital. Laura has been admitted and given a room. The nurse has her change into a hospital gown, while she converts the bed to accommodate for the birth. Laura climbs up on the bed and the nurse gets some info from her before examining her. While the nurse checks to see how far along Laura is, Luke takes a seat on the couch and grabs his phone. *Laura* "Who are you texting?" *Luke* "Aric and Roxie....anyone else you want me to call or text?" *Laura* "No....that's good for now." *Nurse* "Okay....you are doing great! I'll be back to check on you in couple minutes." She exits the room and Luke gets up to stand next to her. *Luke* "Roxie just text me back..." *Laura winces feeling another contraction* "What did she say?" *Luke* "She's excited....and can't wait to meet him." Laura kinda smiles then hunches over. *Luke* "Another one? They're getting a little closer...." Laura groans and Luke reminds her to breathe. *Laura* "Rub my back...." *Luke* "Is that better?" Laura just nods and continues to breathe. Then the door swings open and Krystal and Scott make their way into the room. *Laura* "Mama!..." *Krystal* "Hi Sweetheart!...How are you feeling?" *Laura* "Not too bad yet...." The contraction subsides and she can relax for the moment. Krystal gets comfortable on the stool and sits with Laura to help her through it. Sometime has passed and Luke still waits for his mother to show up wondering if she is on her way. *Krystal* "Okay, so they are about 5 minutes apart now..." *Laura* "Did you call Michelle?.." *Krystal* "Your dad will call her...don't worry about that right now." *Scott* "I'll try her again....she didn't pick up the first time." Scott gets his phone out of his pocket and dials Michelle's number. Meanwhile way across town somewhere out in the country. Michelle and Benjamin took a detour to watch some fireworks before heading home. *Michelle* "Oooo! Look at that one! They're so beautiful and the stars are so bright!" *Benjamin* "I told you I'd git you the best view...." *Michelle* "I could just stay here forever, you know?" *Benjamin* "As long as it's with you, forever is fine with me, Darlin'...." Benjamin leans over as far as he can and kisses her. Both of them getting wrapped up in each other. Then both getting startled by Michelle's phone and it's sudden ringing. They break apart and Michelle grabs her phone to answer it. *Michelle* "Hi Daddy!" Benjamin sits and waits in silence for a beat while Michelle listens to her father. *Benjamin* "What's going on?" *Michelle* "Laura went into labor everyone is at the hospital." *Benjamin* "Well, I guess we're not going home just yet then are we?" *Michelle* "Daddy? We're on our way.....Okay. Bye Daddy..." Back at the hospital... Sometime more time has passed and Cynthia finally shows up. It's now much, much later into the evening and things are progressing slowly but everything is going well. *Cynthia* "Hello?!" *Luke* "Mom, you made it!" *Cynthia* "Of course honey! I wouldn't miss this!" *Krystal* "Cynthia....you came just in time...." *Cynthia* "Hi, Krystal...is she getting close?" *Krystal* "She's getting there." Cynthia walks to stand by Laura. Another contraction coming and Laura drops her head. *Luke* "You ready to be a grandma?" *Cynthia* "Surprisingly, yes I am..." Krystal looks up and sees Scott is still on his phone. *Krystal* "Scott, Honey, get off the phone!" *Scott* "I'm talking to your brother, Darlin'...." *Krystal* "Oh! Well tell them I said hello." As Krystal has her attention turned to her husband, the nurse comes in to check on things and makes sure all is well. *Nurse* "How is she doing?" *Krystal* "Good....contractions are about under 5 minutes apart now." *Nurse* " Okay....Lets go ahead and see how much she has dilated then.." Krystal gets up so the nurse can examine Laura. *Nurse* "Your about halfway now....by early morning you should be holding your baby." Laura sits back up another contraction sending waves of pain down her back. *Nurse* "Now is a good window if you want an epidural...once you get closer to being fully dilated, it'll be too late." *Cynthia* "I had one it was smooth sailing after that....." *Laura* "No...no epidurals." *Nurse* "Okay, just remember to breathe...your doing great so far." The nurse steps away and checks in with the other nurse who just came in the room. *Luke* "You sure you don't want one, Babe?" *Laura* "No, I'll be okay. You know how much I hate needles." *Krystal* "You kicked and screamed as a kid when you had to get shots." Everyone decides to take a quick break when Michelle shows up, only Luke stays with her. *Michelle* "Hey sis! You look like your handling this like a champ." *Laura* "Yeah, until I get another contraction....then it's not so fun." *Michelle* "Well, your brave, Mom said you turned down pain meds." *Laura* "Yeah, they say some can affect the baby..." Then Laura stops talking another contraction building... *Luke* "Help me out here....rub her back it helps the pain." Michelle and Luke start rubbing her back while Laura breathes. *Michelle* "You ready to be a Dad?" *Luke* "Yeah, though I guess you can never be completely ready." *Michelle* "True..." *Luke* "Where's Benjamin?" *Michelle* "Out in the waiting room with our parents." The contraction dissipates and Laura looks up again. *Michelle* "You zoned out there when that contraction hit." *Laura* "Yeah, kinda hard to carry on a conversation when it happens..." Michelle stays a little longer then heads back out to the waiting room to be with Benjamin. One of the nurses continues to prep a few more things for the birth. *Nurse* "Everything is ready to go! All we need now is for you to deliver your baby." Everyone falls into a routine while they wait for Laura to progress. Several hours later, and now early morning the following day. The moment has finally come for Laura to start pushing. *Nurse* "Dr. Bratters was called in for an emergency c section. So Dr. Kelly will be delivering your baby." Everyone gets gathered around her, Luke on one side and Krystal on the other, while the doctor and nurses get everything into place. *Krystal* "This is it sweetie, the last stretch...." Laura just smiles. Luke runs his hand across her forehead, feeling proud of her. *Luke* "I love you, Babe..." *Laura reaches up and grabs his shirt* "I love you too..." *Dr. Kelly* "I want you to push on your next contraction." So on the the next round Laura pushes but not hard enough. *Dr Kelly* "Now one this next one I need you bare down and push hard...." Laura keeps it up for several more rounds of contractions but starts to get tired. *Laura* "I don't think I can push again!" *Dr Kelly* "Laura, your so close, just one more good push...." Luke leans over to look at what the doctor can see. *Luke* "Just one more time, Babe...I can see his head!" *Krystal* "Luke and Dr, Kelly are right sweetie your almost there just one more good push and he'll be here." So Laura pushes one last time and Dr. Kelly gets ready to catch little Phoenix.... to be continued..... ^_^

So it's till Tuesday night and we are still in February to keep y'all in the loop on the timeline... Later that night Luke comes strolling into the bedroom, Laura is awake in bed nursing newborn baby Finn. He walks into the room and begins to pull his flannel off, while him and Laura talk quietly. *Luke* "You still awake?..." *Laura* "Yeah but he's nursing again...so ya know." *Luke* "And Phoenix?..." *Laura* "He's asleep..." *Laura* "Sooooo....How'd it go with the guys?...Did Malcolm show up?" *Luke* "Good, real good. Shaun already wants him to work on some old van he's got." *Laura* "A van? I thought he was into sports cars?..." *Luke* "I dunno, it's some old Volkswagen one...." *Laura* "Oh, okay those are cute." Luke smiles at her "cute" comment and her attempt to talk about cars. *Laura blushes* "What?..." *Luke smiles again* "Nothing, Babe..." Luke tosses his shirt down onto the small chest and then steps into the bathroom. All that beer has gotta go somewhere, haha! *Laura* "So anything else exciting happen?..." Then he remembers to tell her about Willow. *Luke* "Oh, yeah! Guess who showed up at the bar tonight...Totally fucking unexpected." *Laura* "What? I dunno! Luke sits down at the edge of the bed to remove his boots and socks. *Luke* "Yes, way!...And Peter...its so fuckin' obvious he's hung up on her." *Laura* "Oh my gawd! So what happened?..." *Luke* "I believe they left the bar together. Peter followed her to the restrooms and they never came back." *Laura* "Whoa, whoa wait! They left together?!" *Luke shrugs his shoulders* "Yeah I think so." Luke stands up to strip his pants off while Laura unlatches Finn from her breast. *Laura* "Oh, I'm gonna have to call willow tomorrow...do some digging on the matter." *Luke* "I honestly think Pete wants her back but he doesn't know how to handle it." Luke climbs into bed and takes a peek at his newborn who is sleeping like an angel. *Laura* "That sounds like Peter alright...I hope they do, last time I talked to her she didn't appear happy with that other guy." *Luke* "Well...I guess we'll see. Oh! I also found out tonight that Hannah has a boyfriend so apparently she's done with Peter..." *Laura* "Oh good, I hope she stays away...She's just way too young.... So was that the highlight of the evening seeing Willow there?..." *Luke* "Uh, yeah...pretty much. Shaun paid the tab for all of us and we played some pool. Then when we realized Peter wasn't coming back, we called it a night. Peter backs her into the chair, willow lets one piece of clothing fall, her shawl. The two are quiet as their fingers roam around each other getting familiar again with one anothers body. Willow unbuttons Peter's shirt and lets it fall to the floor, sending his scent upwards, filling her nostrils with the his intoxicating rugged, sweet sandalwood sweat. Peter then grabs at Willow's top and pulls it over her head, tossing it down. He then spins her around and goes to work on unzipping her shorts. Peter nips at her neck and ear sending a wave of heat through Willow's body. The two continue their trade off of clothes while they make their way closer to the bedroom door. This time Peter doesn't pull her back in, he lets her go... *Willow continues* "And we both very well know you are incapable of saying those words to any woman. So yeah, I do think coming here was a mistake!..." That last line bites at Peter and he cannot let it slide his ego won't let him or is it that his feelings my actually be hurt... *Peter* "What the fuck?! Just cause pencil dick can say it that means he actually means it?!..." Willow scoots to the edge of the bed, pulling the blanket with her. Both of them are starting to become upset with each other. *Willow* "His name is Nathan and yes he does love me..." *Peter* "Then what the fuck just happened here?!...and if you're so happy with pencil dick then why the fucking hell are you in my fucking bed and not his?!..." He's right about that, but she could not bring herself to stay away tonight. He wore her down staring at her from across the bar and that fact is eating her up right now. *Willow her voice cracking* "Why?!...Because as much as I try to forget you I can't... I'm sorry you're right, this is stupid. I should go...I'm just fucking shit up being here..." Willow begins to get up off the bed but Peter slides down to stop her. *Peter* "No, Babe...don't go. I'm sorry, fuckin' forget what I just said. Climb back into bed with me, stay the night." Willow is still not convinced. *Willow* "So you can break my heart again?...No that's okay. Maybe I just needed this one more time to know that it's really over between us...I dunno.." *Peter* "Aww, C'mon...that makes no fucking sense, Babe!..." *Willow* "None of it ever does!..." Willow then abruptly gets up off the bed and walks to the living room to grab her clothes and get dressed. Peter follows her finding his own clothes, it's obvious she is not coming back to bed now. Willow is slipping on her shoes when he comes into the room. *Peter* "So that's how it's gonna be?...You're just gonna give up?..." *Willow* "Give up what, Peter?...We're not even a couple. You made damn sure of that, that day I caught you with Hannah!..." *Peter* "I fucked up...I know that now." *Willow* "I'm not gonna rehash what happened. It's over and done with and so are we..." Willow sighs, then slips her top on and grabs the shawl she left on the chair. She stops to turn and face him, startled by his proximity after she turns around. *Willow* "This little thing can't happen again, so don't expect it to, I'm with Nathan now... I really need to go Peter, my sister is probably worried sick about me since I never came back." *Peter* "Can you just answer one question for me?..." *Willow* "Sure..." *Peter* "Are you really happy with him?" Willow pauses for a moment... *Willow* "You know that saying....That if you really love someone, set them free?" *Peter* "Ye-ah..." *Willow* "Well, I've come to the realization that I have to do that with you, and I'm okay with that...." *Peter* "So if I did say I love you would stay?..." *Willow* "Peter, please don't play games..." *Peter* "I'm not, Babe..I...I." Then she stops him and kisses him on the cheek and whispers in his ear. *Willow* " It's okay...Good bye, Peter..." *Peter* "Don't go...maybe things can be different this time..." *Willow* "I can't...we can't..." Then she lets her hand fall from his cheek, taking one last hard look at him. If only Peter could say those three little words to her maybe things could have been different. Then she turns heads for the door and swings it open, taking a deep breath she speaks one last time. *Willow smiles sweetly* "Thanks for tonight though, you always know how to make a girl feel amazing..." Peter is about to speak, maybe try and convince her one last time but he hesitates just a tad too long and she closes the door shut behind her disappearing into the night. And since I have officially decided to skip the wedding reception or any honeymoon pictures I have decided to start here ^_^ It's early evening around five o'clock, Michelle and Benjamin have just gotten home, their arms full of luggage from their month long honeymoon. Benjamin made sure Michelle would have a honeymoon she would surely cherish forever, they traveled and saw beautiful places, while enjoying their time alone together, setting their bond and love for each other even deeper. Michelle walks ahead with Rocky pulling on his leash. *Michelle* "It's so nice to be home...Wow, the place looks spotless." *Benjamin* "I told the maid to come and clean up before we got here..." Benjamin always had a maid even before Michelle had moved in with him, but Michelle is not the neat freak like her sister Laura is so Benjamin still has the maid come to do most of it. Besides Michelle is gonna be hard at work, now that she is a trial lawyer! Rocky is equally happy to be home, he has been staying with Michelle's parents. He pulls on his leash, excited to back in familiar territory. Michelle drops the leash so she can put down her bags. Rocky takes off to do a sniff check around the house. *Michelle* "What do you want to do for dinner? I could cook something, unless you're starving already...Benjamin?" Benjamin leaves the large suitcases by the entry so they can be hauled upstairs... Then makes his way to Michelle. *Michelle* "Are you hungry?" *Benjamin* "Let's git settled in first..." Michelle leans back and nuzzles into him... *Michelle* "Mmmmm.....Okay." *Benjamin* "You know, it's been like twelve hours since we left London." *Michelle* "Yeah? Are you sleepy?" *Benjamin* "A little jet lag I guess, but I was thinking...While we were gone we had sex at least 3 times a day..." Michelle turns to face him... *Michelle smiles* "Oh really? Have you been counting?" *Benjamin* "Always Darlin'....If you do the math that's at least every 8 hours..." *Michelle laughs* "Oh, Benjamin...help me get the luggage upstairs..." They head upstairs and get comfortable, settling in back home after being gone for so long. *Michelle* "I think I'll go visit my sister tomorrow, since I don't start work for another week...Are you going back to work tomorrow?" Benjamin removes his hat and sunglasses then begins to unbutton his shirt. *Benjamin* "Yeah, they're all expecting me back tomorrow...I can't take anymore time off, I've been gone for nearly two months and my Father is ready to retire already." Michelle watches him from the reflection of her mirror. *Michelle* "Has he said when he is gonna retire?..." Michelle walks and sits down to remove her heels and Benjamin turns to face her. *Benjamin* "He hasn't given anyone an exact date yet, but I think within the next year, the company will be left completely for me to run." *Michelle* "A year will go by quick, I thought he'd be running it a little longer..." *Michelle continues* "Especially with the merger still underway..." Michelle stands up and start to take off her pants, which catches Benjamin's attention. *Michelle continues to talk* "So you think he plans to retire right after the merger is finalized?...You still want me to come work with you?" Benjamin takes off his shoes and walks up to Michelle taking her by surprise, just a little. He pulls her in and kisses her then pulls back to look at her. *Michelle* "Honestly, I don't think I could get any work done, if you were popping in and out of my office all day..." *Michelle kisses him* "Mmmmm....I feel the same way." Benjamin pulls on her pants, pushing them down. Following his movements Michelle lays back onto the bed. Benjamin grabs her foot and slowly pulls on her pants leg. *Benjamin* "The more I think about it, it's probably not a good idea if we work together..." *Michelle being coy* "Oh, really...but there's no beds at your office..." *Benjamin* "But there's desks, and conference tables, and long leather couches..." He finishes pulling off her pants, tossing them on the floor. Michelle slides back a little as he climbs onto the bed. *Michelle* "Wouldn't you be nervous we might get caught?" Benjamin leans over her. *Benjamin* "That's what locks are for Darlin'..." *Michelle* "Someone would surely hear us..." *Benjamin* "Then I'll have to make sure to go nice and slow..." Well....more like Nana will have my hide..." *Michelle* "What about today? You can just go in tomorrow..." *Benjamin* "You're a persistent little one...Just enjoy your last week off. I'll see ya when I git home tanight..." Then he pulls her in and gives her kiss before heading out the door and off to work. While Michelle was trying to convince Benjamin to let the honeymoon last one more week, Laura is hard at work getting some routine chores done a round the house, before she heads out to run errands. Phoenix meanwhile entertains himself with his favorite toy, his big red Jeep that is just like Daddy's real life big jeep. He pushes it back and forth from the kitchen through to the living room. Laura moves onto the couch, when the doorbell chimes... *Laura* "Hmmmm, I wonder who that could be?..." She looks through the door's peephole to find that it is her sister. So she quickly opens the door. *Laura* "Hey! Come on in! When did you get back?" *Michelle* "Last night..." *Laura* "You look gorgeous! Come in, tell me about the honeymoon..." As they are walking towards the couch, Phoenix comes roaring in with his toy. *Michelle* "Oh my goodness! You're getting so big, Phoenix!" *Laura* "Say hi to Aunt Michelle..." Phoenix waves his chubby little toddler arm, then goes back to driving his jeep. Laura fixes up the couch so they can sit down, while Michelle sets her things down. *Laura* "That coat is amazing! Is?...Is it real?' *Michelle* "No, is the best faux fur out there, I absolutely love it. Benjamin bought it for me while we were in Paris..." Michelle grabs the red bag that she came in with and turns to face her sister. *Michelle continues* "Speaking of Paris...While we were there I found this for you in one the little shops..." *Laura* "Oh, Michelle...you didn't have to do this..." The girls walk around the couch and take a seat. *Michelle* "The second I saw it, I knew I had to get it for you...I know how much you love Paris and everything about it. So, go on open it! I know you're gonna love it..." Laura reaches in and pulls out a large, vintage book, but it's still in excellent condition for it's age. *Laura* "This is amazing!...Oh my gosh, thank you Michelle!" *Michelle* "Isn't it cool?...They don't make cookbooks like that anymore, it's all on the iPad now and they're all traditional french recipes...." Laura turns to her sister and gets a little teary eyed. *Laura* "Thank you, Sis. This is really thoughtful..." *Michelle* "Awwww, don't cry you know I love you..." Then Michelle pulls her in for a big hug. *Michelle* "If you hadn't convinced me to fess up to Benjamin that Halloween, we might not be married right now...You know how stubborn I am." *Laura smiles* "I'm so glad you're happy, that's all I ever wanted for you." Laura gets up, it's time to give Phoenix his snack. *Laura* "You want something to drink, I need to feed Phoenix his snack..." *Michelle* "Sure, water is fine with me..." *Laura* "Okay, lets go in the kitchen." The girls head into the kitchen, Laura hands Michelle a glass then starts to load up the dishwasher. Phoenix sits in his highchair and eats his snack. *Laura smiles* "So tell me...How was the honeymoon?" *Michelle* "Oh my god it was absolutely amazing!...We saw London, Paris! You gotta see Paris someday, it was gorgeous!..And Benjamin....he's amazing! Spending this whole month alone together was like a dream..." Laura turns and looks at Michelle she is absolutely smitten. If they were cartoons Michelle would have hearts for eyeballs, she so smitten... *Laura* "I'm glad to see you two are so happily married..." *Michelle* Yeah...Ben had to go into work today and it was hard seeing him go, not being able to spend all day with him." Laura closes the dishwasher and they go take a seat at the table, while Phoenix finishes his snack. *Laura* "Don't you start your new job soon?" *Michelle* "Next Monday...." *Laura* "You getting nervous?..." *Michelle* "A little, but I'm excited to start my career." *Laura* "You're gonna do awesome...You were always great at getting out of being in trouble with Mom and Dad. You know how to win an argument." *Michelle giggles* "Yeah, that's true...I'd really have them sometimes.....You know, if it wasn't for Benjamin's Dad, I wouldn't have this job. He's got a lot of connections with the city." *Laura* "Yeah I think Mom told me he helped out, so I guess this means that you won't be working for Trudeau Construction?" *Michelle* "No, at least not anytime soon, I think for now I'll work for the city for awhile, then once we have a couple kids, I can work for the company later on down the line." *Laura* "Sounds like a plan to me...Is Benjamin on board with it?" *Michelle* "Um...the job part we've talked about, but we haven't talked about kids yet." *Laura* "Speaking of kids..." *Michelle interrupts* "Oh my god, you're pregnant!" Laura reaches out to stop her. Michelle is getting all excited and she hasn't even gotten a word in. *Laura* "No!...No, at least not yet. We decided a couple days ago we want to start trying. Just don't tell Mom anything yet. " *Michelle* "Yeah, sure....so you really ready for another baby? It seems like y'all just got back together. Is Luke really ready to have another child?" *Laura* "We've been back together for almost a year now, and I love him, life has been great since we worked things out. In fact he told me on our anniversary he was ready to have another, I was the one who wasn't ready. Plus, Phoenix will be two years old soon and we want to keep them somewhat close in age. *Michelle* "Really, it's been a year already?...So have ya'll started 'trying' yet?" *Laura* "No, not yet, I told him that he's gotta cut out the beer and smoking the occasional joint. And I'm not drinking wine. Once we've cleansed our systems then we'll start. I'm hoping that if I go in more prepared with this pregnancy that maybe it won't be as rough, but you still never know." *Laura sips her glass* "So I've been drinking lots of water too." *Michelle* "Wo..." Before Michelle can speak the doorbell chimes. *Michelle* "Sounds like someone is at the door... Are you expecting someone?" *Laura* "No, watch Phoenix for me. I'll go see who it is." Laura goes to open the door to find that it was Willow who rang the doorbell. *Laura* "Oh my gosh, is everything okay?..." *Willow sobbing a little* "Peter cheated on me!.." *Laura* "What?!...." *Willow* "It's over between us...a whole year! And just like that he moves on!..." Laura gets her to the couch and hands her a Kleenex. Willow blows her nose and Laura is curious what exactly led to them breaking up. *Laura* "Does it have anything to do with what he said last week?" *Willow whimpering* "A little..." As Laura is trying to console Willow, Michelle comes in with Phoenix on her hip. *Michelle* "Is everything okay?..." *Laura* "You want to talk about it?" *Willow* "Peter and I had a big argument that night we got back home. It started when he blurted out he had had a vasectomy. I was so upset that he never thought it important to tell me...So, I left that night to sleep at my moms, to give us some space." *Willow continues* "I told him that we can talk again when I come back from my art gala in California...We were both so upset I thought it would be best. He tried calling me while I was working but I just couldn't bring myself to call him back. I just wanted to focus on work. And so I come home this morning to find him having sex with Hannah!" Willow buries her face in the tissue, sobbing hard her body heaving. Laura shakes her head, of course it's Hannah, that girl is always his rebound. Just when Laura thought he might be settling down too. *Laura* "He's a fool, Willow...Oh, sweetie...I'm so sorry." *Michelle* "If he runs that quickly he's not worth it, better to find out now than later." Phoenix notices too how upset Willow is, he's gotten quite used to her being around since Laura has become good friends with her back when she was going through her separation with Luke. *Phoenix looks at Michelle* "Weewoah chying! Weewoah chying!" *Michelle* "She is, she's very sad..." *Laura* "Would you like to give Willow a hug Pumpkin?" Phoenix nods yes and Michelle passes him to Willow. Phoenix gives Willow a big hug, she has definitely grown close to him over this past year. She looks at Phoenix and smiles. *Willow* "Thank you, Sugar...I feel much better now." *Laura* "Why don't you go play with your toys now, Pumpkin..." Willow puts him down, so he can go play. Then she remembers something else important about that night. *Willow* "Oh, I also brought this, Luke left it at Peter's. I figured I'd bring it. He walks into the room and begins to pull his flannel off, while him and Laura talk quietly. *Luke* "You still awake?..." *Laura* "Yeah but he's nursing again...so ya know." *Luke* "And Phoenix?..." *Laura* "He's asleep..." *Laura* "Sooooo....How'd it go with the guys?...Did Malcolm show up?" *Luke* "Good, real good. Shaun already wants him to work on some old van he's got." *Laura* "A van? I thought he was into sports cars?..." *Luke* "I dunno, it's some old Volkswagen one...." *Laura* "Oh, okay those are cute." Luke smiles at her "cute" comment and her attempt to talk about cars. *Laura blushes* "What?..." *Luke smiles again* "Nothing, Babe..." Luke tosses his shirt down onto the small chest and then steps into the bathroom. All that beer has gotta go somewhere, haha! *Laura* "So anything else exciting happen?..." Then he remembers to tell her about Willow. *Luke* "Oh, yeah! Guess who showed up at the bar tonight...Totally fucking unexpected." *Laura* "What? I dunno! Luke sits down at the edge of the bed to remove his boots and socks. *Luke* "Yes, way!...And Peter...its so fuckin' obvious he's hung up on her." *Laura* "Oh my gawd! So what happened?..." *Luke* "I believe they left the bar together. Peter followed her to the restrooms and they never came back." *Laura* "Whoa, whoa wait! They left together?!" *Luke shrugs his shoulders* "Yeah I think so." Luke stands up to strip his pants off while Laura unlatches Finn from her breast. *Laura* "Oh, I'm gonna have to call willow tomorrow...do some digging on the matter." *Luke* "I honestly think Pete wants her back but he doesn't know how to handle it." Luke climbs into bed and takes a peek at his newborn who is sleeping like an angel. *Laura* "That sounds like Peter alright...I hope they do, last time I talked to her she didn't appear happy with that other guy." *Luke* "Well...I guess we'll see. Oh! I also found out tonight that Hannah has a boyfriend so apparently she's done with Peter..." *Laura* "Oh good, I hope she stays away...She's just way too young.... So was that the highlight of the evening seeing Willow there?..." *Luke* "Uh, yeah...pretty much. Shaun paid the tab for all of us and we played some pool. Then when we realized Peter wasn't coming back, we called it a night. Before Laura can scoot off the bed to go lay baby Finn down, Luke pulls her in close and kisses her. *Luke* "Don't take too long..." *Laura smiles* "Oh really?...there something you want?..." *Luke smirks* "Babe, it's always what I want..." Peter quickly follows behind her, no way in hell is he letting her escape this time. *Peter* "Willow..." He takes the smack to the cheek like it did not faze him at all, then pulls her in tight against him and for a split second Willow tries to push him away. A short while later they make it to Peter's apartment. After he gets the door unlocked, the two of the them stumble around in the dark No time to turn on lights and take their time these two are in a feeding frenzy of flesh on flesh... Peter backs her into the chair, willow lets one piece of clothing fall, her shawl. The two are quiet as their fingers roam around each other getting familiar again with one anothers body. Willow unbuttons Peter's shirt and lets it fall to the floor, sending his scent upwards, filling her nostrils with the his intoxicating rugged, sweet sandalwood sweat. Peter then grabs at Willow's top and pulls it over her head, tossing it down. He then spins her around and goes to work on unzipping her shorts. Both are breathless and take a moment to bask in the afterglow of it all. *Peter moans a bit* "Shit that was fucking amazing, Babe..." Willow doesn't speak she just kinda mumbles a "MmHmmm" and as the last remnants of her orgasm dissipate, she comes more and more to her senses. You and I both know that what just happened here felt so right..." *Willow* "It was just sex Peter, you're confusing it again with love!. You love sex with me but don't love me..Something you yourself admitted you don't know how to do..." Then she pushes his hand off of her so she can get up off the bed. This time Peter doesn't pull her back in, he lets her go... *Willow continues* "And we both very well know you are incapable of saying those words to any woman. So yeah, I do think coming here was a mistake!..." That last line bites at Peter and he cannot let it slide his ego won't let him or is it that his feelings my actually be hurt... *Peter* "What the fuck?! Just cause pencil dick can say it that means he actually means it?!..." Willow scoots to the edge of the bed, pulling the blanket with her. Both of them are starting to become upset with each other. *Willow* "His name is Nathan and yes he does love me..." *Peter* "Then what the fuck just happened here?!...and if you're so happy with pencil dick then why the fucking hell are you in my fucking bed and not his?!..." He's right about that, but she could not bring herself to stay away tonight. He wore her down staring at her from across the bar and that fact is eating her up right now. *Willow her voice cracking* "Why?!...Because as much as I try to forget you I can't... I'm sorry you're right, this is stupid. I should go...I'm just fucking shit up being here..." Willow begins to get up off the bed but Peter slides down to stop her. *Peter* "No, Babe...don't go. I'm sorry, fuckin' forget what I just said. Climb back into bed with me, stay the night." Willow is still not convinced. *Willow* "So you can break my heart again?...No that's okay. Maybe I just needed this one more time to know that it's really over between us...I dunno.." *Peter* "Aww, C'mon...that makes no fucking sense, Babe!..." *Willow* "None of it ever does!..." Willow then abruptly gets up off the bed and walks to the living room to grab her clothes and get dressed. Peter follows her finding his own clothes, it's obvious she is not coming back to bed now. Willow is slipping on her shoes when he comes into the room. *Peter* "So that's how it's gonna be?...You're just gonna give up?..." *Willow* "Give up what, Peter?...We're not even a couple. You made damn sure of that, that day I caught you with Hannah!..." *Peter* "I fucked up...I know that now." *Willow* "I'm not gonna rehash what happened. It's over and done with and so are we..." Willow sighs, then slips her top on and grabs the shawl she left on the chair. She stops to turn and face him, startled by his proximity after she turns around. *Willow* "This little thing can't happen again, so don't expect it to, I'm with Nathan now... I really need to go Peter, my sister is probably worried sick about me since I never came back." *Peter* "Can you just answer one question for me?..." *Willow* "Sure..." *Peter* "Are you really happy with him?" Willow pauses for a moment... *Willow* "You know that saying....That if you really love someone, set them free?" *Peter* "Ye-ah..." *Willow* "Well, I've come to the realization that I have to do that with you, and I'm okay with that...." *Peter* "So if I did say I love you would stay?..." *Willow* "Peter, please don't play games..." *Peter* "I'm not, Babe..I...I." Then she stops him and kisses him on the cheek and whispers in his ear. *Willow* " It's okay...Good bye, Peter..." *Peter* "Don't go...maybe things can be different this time..." *Willow* "I can't...we can't..." Then she lets her hand fall from his cheek, taking one last hard look at him. If only Peter could say those three little words to her maybe things could have been different. Then she turns heads for the door and swings it open, taking a deep breath she speaks one last time. *Willow smiles sweetly* "Thanks for tonight though, you always know how to make a girl feel amazing..." Peter is about to speak, maybe try and convince her one last time but he hesitates just a tad too long and she closes the door shut behind her disappearing into the night. Willow bursts into tears the minute she walks away, it's for the best she thinks to herself. It's over for sure this time! He cannot hurt you anymore! The End...for now.
