Dust off your vinyl record player and antique trinkets—they'll pair perfectly with this British Imported Vintage Polyester, Viscose and Linen Woven! Boasting a visible plain-weave structure, this dusty rose woven with slight variations in hue and flecks of brown promises a soft, tactile hand with a slubbed texture typical of linen, as well as a malleable drape. Ideal for all your home decor needs, fashion pleated drapes and curtains, cover couches and ottomans, or create eye-catching throw pillows! Due to its slightly open weave, this medium-weight fabric allows some light through, so consider adding a lining for complete opacity or additional structure. Please note that because of the way that the selvage is woven, only 55 inches of the total 57-inch width are usable.
TOP QUALITY SOCKET - OVER 900 SOLD! This is a great way to add an ultra-compact candelabra bulb socket to your industrial pipe lamp project. It features a heavy duty candelabra (E12) bulb socket, permanently mounted inside a 1/2" black malleable iron 90º street elbow fitting. Simply thread into your lamp project (threads into 1/2" female NPT opening), connect the wires (see third paragraph for wiring details), and add a candelabra bulb of your choice (up to 75W, bulb not included). This is a great way to make a beautiful black iron chandelier! Other competing sockets out there use a 1/2" x 3/4" fitting, with a bunch of epoxy to fill the gap between the socket and the fitting (see photo #2). My sockets have no visible epoxy, yet the socket is still securely mounted inside the fitting, and is guaranteed not to pull out. The socket is UL Listed, and rated for 125V at up to 75W. The wire lead is approx. 22" of 18AWG polarized white wire (ribbed = white/neutral; smooth (printed) = black/hot) with SPT-1 insulation. Proper electrical experience is required to safely wire these sockets to your project. See photos 4 and 5 for examples of the cool projects you can make with these sockets. The lamps shown in these photos are for demonstration only, and are not included with these sockets. If you need 4 or 8 of these (or more), I offer 4 and 8 packs, with savings of up to $10.80 (see separate listing). Because the 4-pack and 8-pack weigh more than 1 pound, First Class shipping is not available on those - but I promise I will keep shipping costs as low as possible, and I will refund any significant shipping overages. QUANTITY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE: A single socket is $13.35. Get a 2-pack for $25.98. For even bigger discounts, please see my separate listings for the 4-pack and 8-pack, which offer bigger savings: https://www.etsy.com/listing/917927055/4-pack-12-black-malleable-iron-90-street?click_key=076dcc425d5f545a35aeecdc18cec4efe0fbfa02%3A917927055&click_sum=54431975&ref=shop_home_active_11&sts=1 The 4-pack and 8-pack each weigh over 1 pound, so some shipping options are not available on those, but you will still save money versus buying multiple single sockets or 2-packs. Photography has long been uncomfortable with its very nature as a recording device. The same tangible connection to the subject that affords the photographic medium and process its singular charge – its requisite proximity and contact with its referent, and the direct inscription of light on celluloid or sensor – also presents its great anxiety. In a career stretching back to the 1990s, Melbourne artist Eliza Hutchison’s Hutchison has worked to slice, shred, fold, mirror and sculpt photographic images, materials and surfaces to both activate and complicate the photograph’s chain of command. The images that echo throughout her long-awaited debut book Family Photos – many of which came out of a residency at the Cité des Arts in Paris – both embrace and shatter their collective title. Prised from the swamp of Hutchison and her family’s wider history, present and semiconscious, they ricochet between intense intimacy and collective significance, applying photography’s indexical potential to the most ephemeral and malleable of moments. Here, she makes visible the turbulence of the psychological and the uncertainty and fallibility of memory. Published by Perimeter BooksSoftcover 128 pages280 x 195 mmISBN 9780994388346

This model notebook, A4 size, was one of the models of school notebooks used in Portuguese schools from the 80s. This notebook is intact, never been used, it came from an old bookstore in Oporto that closed and the examples I present here came from its warehouse. As I said the notebook has the format A4, with 80 (eighty) sheets, therefore 160 (one hundred and sixty) pages, with the particularity of being all detachable by the perforation in the vertical left side, and can be filed in a ring binder (see detail photographs of the interior), because all the sheets have holes for the rings. This notebook is very practical to use because of its aspiration on the left side. These notebooks were used to write class notes, for drawings and sketches and for all the necessary records of the academic life, since each leaf could be separated from the others without damaging the notebook. All pages inside are smooth and very thin with only two final vertical lines marking the margins. Cover and back cover are made of a thicker but malleable cardboard. The front cover is satin orange and the back cover is white or beige, depending on (see photographs). They are all from Ambar, a brand that used to produce school material. Sometimes the logo is on the inside of the cover, at the bottom in the middle and sometimes on the left. As you can see from the photographs, and as I mentioned above, the notebook is new and has never been used. But as it was stored for many years in the bookshop's warehouse, with humidity, in conditions less proper to such delicate material as paper, it shows signs of wear and tear. That is why we can find dark stains on the paper, both on the cover and inside, small folds mainly in the corners and other marks on the paper (see detailed photographs). Because of light, moisture and time, the interior paper and covers have become a little yellowed with some stains and marks. The back is also very dark and with dirt stains. Despite these details, the notebook is in good vintage condition. This antique notebook can be used as a daily notebook, notebook or for drawing pad. Although the photos show several notebooks, the price is individual, it corresponds only to one (1) copy. Please choose the quantity in the top menu.
