Hand Painted Story Spoons. Both me and my husband has worked in Early Years Education for 20 years combined. Our little company LOR(Life of Reilly) is trying to help our little ones build a love for stories at an early age. Reading stories and books to our children help build their vocabulary and increase their knowledge and imagination. Our story spoons will help the children visualise the story and even use the characters to one day create their own stories. We try our very best to make the spoons as identical as possible to our pictures but we love hand painting them so sometimes they may come out only a tiny bit different to the picture, so please keep that in mind when buying.

This is a six page reader's theater script for grades k-2! It has six characters including a narrator and a very minor character. October means Stellaluna in my classrroom! Along with going deep into this text, I'll show you some great ways to get kids writing about their reading!
I love Reader's Theater and I love Fairy Tales! I have been writing my own Readers Theater scripts for my classroom for years because apparently I do Reader's Theater a little different than other teachers. I use it as a center and consequently only have three to five students to read all of the parts! I have written these scripts with that in mind. In some cases I combine parts, but for first graders that can sometimes be too much. This Jack and the Beanstalk script could be used with a Fairy Tale themed unit, or with several STEM activities...which is where I will use it. I have included five scripts with each character highlighted and one "blank script" at the end so you can use it however you need it. I hope you enjoy Jack and the Beanstalk. Be sure to check out my other Readers Theater scripts: The Shoemaker and the Elves, The Country Mouse and the City Mouse, The Gingerbread Boy, Puss in Boots and The Frog Prince. Joy Thomas

9 Books about Women Around the World for students to read.
I am currently a fourth grade teacher in my first year of using the EL Education program (2018-2019 school year). I have found that there are many anchor charts in the curriculum that can be pre-made and hung in my classroom as they are introduced. I also like for the students to be able to glue a copy in their notebook! While I could simply copy from the books, the anchor charts provided are not visually appealing and often don't match exactly the way I would teach it. Also, although I teach 4th grade, most of these anchor charts are the same as can be found in some other grade levels. For this reason I am not listing this product as grade level specific but please keep in mind the anchor charts included are based on the 4th grade EL curriculum. Both third and fifth grade teachers at my school are using these same charts! I have started creating my own version of these anchor charts (please note they are not the *exact* same as in the program). I will keep an ongoing list of the anchor charts included, below. As this file continues to grow the cost will also go up based on the amount of anchor charts included. If you purchase this product you will always have the ability to download the new, updated version as I continue adding more anchor charts (for free!). If you have any questions about anything in this file please let me know. Also, if you are using the EL education program and know of an anchor chart that you would like to include in this file, please message me on TpT! I am looking for suggestions about which anchor charts to add and it would be helpful to have input from others. PRINTING: Don't forget you can print in both poster size and reduced size from the PDF document. I have found this very helpful in utilizing these anchor charts! If you have any questions about how to do this, please email me or message me on TpT. Anchor charts included in this file: *Close Readers do these things anchor chart *Determining the Main Idea *Discussion Norms anchor chart *Strategies to Answer Selected Response Questions anchor chart *Fluent readers do these things *Criteria of an effective summary *Criteria of effective Informational Texts *Researchers do these things *Working to become Ethical People poster *Working to become Effective Learners poster *ALL Block posters (five anchor charts included- additional work with complex text, word study and vocabulary, writing practice, reading and speaking fluently/GUM, independent reading) *If you teach 4th grade be sure to check out the EL lesson plans I have uploaded! I am hoping to have more up by next school year.
