Destroyed StuG.III Ausf. G (Sd.Kfz. 142-1) Knocked out 300 meters north of the hotel Ville in Saint-Mere-Eglise by M4 tanks of Coy. C 746th Tank Battalion supporting 82nd Airborne Division on D-Day+1. The Stug belong to the Pz.Jg.Abt.709/709 Infanterie Division. It has received a significant amount of hits blowing the roof off the superstructure and the front of the mantlet among others things.
