I was recently introduced to rose hip tea by my studio pal Suzie, founder of Soothe-Me , a handcrafted skincare and wellbeing brand. I love sharing a studio with Suzie, she has great energy and I’m always learning from her, for example when we stopped for a cup of rose hip tea she told me about all

As a ceramic designer breakages are an unfortunately part of the gig. Kintsugi is a 15th Century Japanese technique that uses lacquer to repair broken ceramics. I discovered this technique last year, when my friend broke the lid of her favourite teapot and her boyfriend used a Kintsugi kit to repair

Dinosaurs Doing Stuff x Jinny Ngui Design collaboration bone china 'Time for Tea-Rex' mug Time for Tea-Rex is a playful collaboration between Dinosaurs Doing Stuff and Jinny Ngui Design. Tea-Rex is illustrated by Dinosaurs Doing Stuff, he's having his favourite brew in one of Jinny Ngui Designs mugs. These mug and tea bag tidy sets make the perfect gift for tea and dinosaur lovers. The illustration is on both sides of the mug, so you can appreciate him from all angles. The text 'Time for Tea-Rex' features to the left of the T-Rex illustration and is a fun play on words. The bottom of the mugs has our logos. Each mug is made of bone china and is decorated by hand and then fired at 820°C. The design is fully fired into the glaze so is suitable to be used in the dishwasher. Here are a few care instructions and tips for looking after your pieces…Washing up It is best to wash your bone china by hand, but not with anything abrasive that could scratch the surface. To avoid tea and coffee stains rinse out your mug/cup with warm water immediately after each use. To remove stains you can use hot water with denture tablets and soak, or make a paste with bicarbonate of soda and use it as a gentle scrub. Dishwasher Patterns are fully fired into the glaze, so you can put your items into the dishwasher (I do with mine), but please do so with care. Make sure you stack your dishwasher so items are not touching each other to avoid scratches and potential damage Use the gentlest washing cycle. Microwave Most ceramic items are safe to use in the microwave but not items decorated with gold or platinum decoration

Named after the most enthusiastic croissant connoisseur in London, Jinny of Jinny Ngui Design. Here is the croissant hair accessory of your dreams, all the joy none of the crumbs, also when you wear this and eat a croissant, you will be able to avoid getting any of those glorious pesky crumbs in your hair. Round here we call that a win win. Alternatively you can have it as a brooch with the brooch pin being sewn horizontally across the croissant. The sequinned croissant is on a 5.5cm metal clip, a small bit of the clip is visible. The croissant itself measures 5cm approximately by 3.2 cm and is stuffed with recycled plastic bottles! I try to make sure every stitch is secure but please be gentle, please don't spray it with hair spray, products or perfume. Every single clip is made to order by hand in the UK and has a lead time of 2 weeks.

I love afternoon tea! A pot tea accompanied by some delicious treats catching up with friends is probably one of my favourite things. Afternoon tea started back in the early 1800’s as a small bite to eat to tide ladies over until the late formal dinners. Today afternoon tea is a sumptuous spread
