This beautiful drawing was originally made as a wedding invitation covering. A very special couple ordered it from me, where they asked for an illustration of the Temple's Building, not knowing what will run in my head from that idea. The combination of texts knowledge, humor and talent came out amazing! The new wed's loved it! And some people even started framing the invitation! this is, more or less, how it all began and thank G-d came out to be a gorgeous picture as well. This time, each picture is being colored separately by Hand. The Watercolors tunes, which have the magic of themselves, were chosen to be pleasant, calm and bright. In the drawing, there are many details put together harmoniously and creatively: On top, there is a quoted phrase from Jewish Gemara: "Rav Nachman The son of Rav Yitzchak said: Everybody who causes happiness to Bride and Groom, considers as if he built one of Jerusalem's ruins". " רב נחמן בר רבי יצחק אמר: כל המשמח חתן וכלה כאילו בנה חורבה מחורבות ירושלים" Under this quote, The Ancient Temple is drawn with a crane behind. On the right there is a Truck with a smaller crane, holding a pole. A builder standing by points where to place it. On top of the crane, there is a Jewish Fiddler, which reminds the Fiddler On The Roof, On the truck itself, someone is playing the drums and another guy is holding a Megaphone. The writing on the Truck is "מזל טוב" Meaning "Good Luck" which is a blessing said usually on Jewish Ceremonies as Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah etc. It is written longly, similarly to the Na-Nach Trucks led by Rav Nachman's Chasidim, who want to spread happiness and optimistic way of life throughout Israel. Under the whole 'Building site' the quote "לשנה הבאה בירושלים הבנויה": "To the Next year in the built Jerusalem' is written with big letters, as the customary in Jewish weddings, to say at the end of the Chupa. looking for more wedding gifts?
