Aber wie sieht es mit Hinterlassenschaften aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg aus? Was wäre wenn man aus alten Benzinkanistern, welche zu abertausenden im unsäglichen Krieg (sind eigentlich alle), übrig geblieben sind. Ja, man kann diese Dinger veschrotten, man kann sie aber auch als das sehen was sie sind Sprit-Behälter. Wenn man das so sieht, dann kann man sie auch restaurieren und daraus Behälter für Spirits machen. Da ist dann perfektes Recycling und cool. So darf man das machen. The Jerry Cans were developed in the 1930s for military use. The fuel had to be efficiently stored and transported to aid soldiers and war machines on the frontlines. Without fuel, tanks couldn’t drive, and without these tanks, the war would be lost. So hat man es auf jeden Fall beim Conzept "Danish Full" gedacht und umgesetzt - jetzt sind die in zivile Stilelemente umgewandelten Kanister zur Hausbar, zum Badezimmerschrank, sogar zum Trolley umgearbeitet worden und können bald in Form von Crowdfund gebacken werden. Bald geht es los. Klingt gut, sieht auch echt cool aus. Was die Dänen da aus den deutschen Einheitskanistern gezaubert haben kann sich auf jeden Fall sehen lassen und ist ein Lifestyle-Objekt erster Güte geworden. WITHOUT THESE CANS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE FOR ARMIES TO CUT THEIR WAY ACROSS FRANCE AT A LIGHTNING PACE WHICH EXCEEDED THE GERMAN BLITZ OF 1940 – President Roosevelt Schön mit edlem Holz ausgebaut, in schönen Farben neu lackiert und mit einem Innenspiegel versehen. Aber immerhin wird nicht jeder so ein Objekt in der Wohnung haben und es wird zum Hingucker - denn es werden nur 99 Stück von dem Gin Bar Cabinet hergestellt. Nano Black macht diese limitierte Edition auch ordentlich was her.
