For this jacket I have drawn my inspiration from the painting of the famous Bengali artist Jamini Roy. I have always been fascinated by the rich culture and folk art of India. With this jacket I wanted to showcase the grandeur of these simple playful patterns. The iconic gold color so much a part of our culture. I really enjoyed making this painting and I am sure you will feel equally thrilled to wear a piece of the Indian folk art Process: All jackets are prewashed before they are painted on. I have used very high-quality fabric paint. Each painting is drawn freehand and painted with great care. Depending on the design it takes me two weeks to paint the jacket and about a week for the paint to dry. The paint is then heat set to ensure that the paint adheres to the fabric. Care Instructions: Dry Clean Only. Do not iron directly on the painting. Iron the jean jacket inside out if needed. Size: M(8-10) ; Shoulder – 17” ; Sleeve length – 23 1/2”; Chest 18 ½ “
