I absolutely love the dies, especially the circular one (used above), and the coordinating lines-with-circles die--they are so different! The inside of the card, with a white Stylish Shapes circle to write your sentiment on. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is absolutely gorgeous, and many of the flowers and leaves on it can also be cut out with the dies! This is always a plus, and is a great time-saver! Full Directions for my Hello, Irresistible Card: Cut the following layers: Evening Evergreen cardstock: 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2" Basic White cardstock: 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" (stamp sentiment with Evening Evergreen, and then die cut with Stylish Shapes banner die); 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" (die cut with largest Stylish Shapes circle die) Hello, Irresistible DSP: 5 1/4" x 4" Place the circle die and the Around the Bend curved stitched die on the Evening Evergreen card front as shown, and cut. Burnish the score line on the card base. Place the DSP on the inside of the card, but do not adhere yet. Close the card. Align the largest Stylish Shapes circle die over the DSP so that it is centered beneath the die cut circle. Secure the die with low-tack tape, and die cut, setting the cut-out circle aside. Adhere DSP to the inside of card, gluing the Basic White circle in the cut-out. Adhere the DSP circle to the back of the Evening Evergreen card front, aligning it with the white circle on the inside of the card. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom left of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. Tie a bow with 8" of Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon, and add to card front with a glue dot. Add several Loose Frosted Dots to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where I have been playing with the Dainty Delight Dies from Stampin' Up! to make this beautiful, soft, pastel enchanted garden card. I am hoping with the Stamping INKspirations group where the theme this month is a technique challenge. If you haven't been to my blog before - Welcome!! I love to die cut and I love layers - so this was a fun challenge for me. I had been making a bunch of easter items for a craft show I am going to be doing and had a ton of scraps left over - so I went to town with my scraps and the Dainty Delight Dies. I used the on-line Exclusive DSP - Hello Irresistible 6" x 6" paper for my background. I cut some of my stems with Soft Sea Foam and the other with Vellum paper. Then I just cut a variety of colors for my flowers - layered the stems, leaves and flowers on my DSP - cut it down to fit the frame in from the Fabulous Frames dies- adhered the frame- and then adhered it to the card base. At this moment - both the Dainty Delight Dies and the Hello Irresistible DSP are showing Currently Unavailable - however - the Dies are due to come back in stock March 13th and the DSP on April 3rd. I kept the inside simple but embellished with a few die cuts - the bee is from the Queen Bee dies. No ink was used - just paper, dies and a tiny bit of glue adhesive. Hello stampers, welcome to week 42 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Real Red, a lovely rich red colour from the Brights Colour family. I am using a new bundle called Irresistible Blooms which is available as one of our new Online Exclusive products. Stampin' Up! are releasing Online Exclusive products several times during the year. These are the first selection of Online Exclusive products. They can only be found in the online store. I heat embossed the floral images in Black Embossing Powder, on either Shimmery White cardstock or Real Red card stock. I like the vibrant black contrast and the extra texture that the embossing powder gives. I coloured the Shimmery White card stock with a Water Painter and Real Red ink. The leaves are cut from Basic Black card stock. Some of the leaves have been coloured with or sparkled with a Wink of Stella pen. I pull apart some black twine into single threads and attached them behind the leaves. The background paper is a piece of vellum from the Layering Designs pack. The final touches on this card were some Basic Rhinestone Jewels. The greeting is also from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and was stamped in Memento Black ink.
