This Nemadji vase is in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or repairs. A souvenier of Estes Park Colorado, it says Estes Park Made in Colorado on the bottom. Flowing swirls of green, brown, and white on a matte white background give this unique vase movement and interest. 6.75 inches tall by about 4.50 inches wide. The opening is 1 3/8 inches diameter. This pottery is made in the U.S.A. and looks like it is Native American pottery, but it is not. Nemadji Tile and Pottery began in Minnesota in 1923 and continued during the depression to fuel tourism markets in the western and northeastern United States. The Nemadji company closed its doors in 2002. This piece has the Nemadji trademark on the bottom which can be seen in the pictures. Nemadji collecting is still going very strong. Please refer to the photos as they make up part of the item’s description. All of my items are vintage and may have some degree of wear. I do my best to describe any flaws that I see, but I suggest you look carefully at all of the photos and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the item. All my Etsy sales are carefully packaged and shipped USPS priority mail in a timely fashion. Sustainable Packaging: In an effort to be more environment-friendly, I always reuse packaging material and cardboard boxes. I only use clean packaging materials that consist of paper, tissue and bubble wrap. I use biodegradable peanuts only when necessary to provide extra cushion for fragile pieces so that they arrive in one piece. If it is a very heavy piece, I repurpose and reuse clean styrofoam that would otherwise have gone into a landfill.
